Egy észak-mexikói bár ellen követtek el támadást, aminek tizenegy áldozata van, nem lehetett rajtuk segíteni.
Tizenegy ember haláláról számoltak be a hatóságok Mexikói északi részén, akik egy feltételezett gyújtogatásos támadás áldozatai. San Luis Rio Coloradóban követték el a támadást, melynek részletei is ismertek.
A hatóságok beszámolója szerint egy, a bárból kiutasított vendég Molotov-koktélt dobott a bárba, ami lángra kapott. A gyanúsított fiatal férfi erősen ittas állapotban volt a szombati támadás idején, akit amiatt tettek ki a bárból, mert tiszteletlenül viselkedett az ott lévő nőkkel.
Ezt követően egy Molotov-koktéllal a kezében tért vissza, amit a bár ajtajához hajított. A tizenegy áldozat közül négyen nők voltak, további négy személyt pedig kórházban kezelnek különböző sérülésekkel.
Az egyik női áldozat amerikai állampolgár volt, míg ketten valószínűleg mexikói kettős állampolgárok. A legfiatalabb áldozat mindössze 17 éves volt, rajta sem tudtak segíteni a mentőegységek.
A Reuters azt írja, a város polgármestere, Santos Gonzalez megerősítette a támadó letartóztatását. A férfi akár élete végéig börtönbe kerülhet, de a tizenegy áldozat, köztük fiatalokkal, már nem kaphatják vissza az életüket.
