Egy hároméves kislány véletlenül agyonlőtte négyéves nővérét vasárnap este a texasi Houston egyik lakásában. A kislányt az orvosok már nem tudták megmenteni. A rendőrség nyomozást indított az ügyben – számolt be az Origo a FoxNews-ra hivatkozva.
A tragédia nem sokkal este 8 óra előtt történt, miután a két lány magára maradt az egyik szobában. A hároméves lány talált egy töltött pisztolyt, és egyszer eltalálta a nővérét – mondta Ed Gonzalez Harris megyei seriff egy sajtótájékoztatón.
A család egy lakásban töltötte az időt, amikor a lövöldözés történt. Gonzalez elmondása szerint a lányok és szüleik a lakásban laktak.
A családtagok amint meghallották a lövést a hálószobába rohantak, biztosították a lőfegyvert, és jelentették az esetet a hatóságoknak. A négyéves kislány a helyszínen meghalt.
Egyelőre nem világos, hogy vádat emelnek-e a lövöldözéssel kapcsolatban. Az eset kivizsgálása még folyamatban van.
