 Через два дні після того, як міністр штату Пенджаб випив склянку води з річки Калі-Бейн, йому стало зле. Відтак урядовця з його резиденції в Делі вертольотом доставили до лікарні.
 Міністр хотів таким чином довести, що вода в річці чиста і придатна для споживання.
 Як свідчить відео, відразу після вживання води невизначеного кольору в політика не було скарг. За даними індійської преси, Бхаґвант Манн ще перебуває в лікарні.

 Про це кореспонденту Укрінформу розповіла директор Харківського обласного лабораторного центру МОЗ Любов Махота.
 «Попередній діагноз гастроентероколіт, токсикоінфекція. Це гостра кишкова інфекція. На поточний час всі захворілі лікуються амбулаторно, а навчальний заклад працює. Наразі причини виникнення, фактори та шляхи передачі інфекції встановлюються», – сказала Махота.
 За її даними, 18 листопада було 28 захворілих, на сьогодні їх уже 37. Серед учителів та персоналу захворілих немає.
 У ліцеї проводяться заключна дезінфекція, відбір проб води та харчових продуктів, змивів з об’єктів зовнішнього середовища. Лікарі обстежують хворих і контактних осіб, проходить опитування та відвідування домашніх вогнищ, аналізується відвідуваність закладу учнями.
 Результати лабораторних досліджень будуть відомі через 5-7 діб.
