Az Egyesült Államok szombaton indított légicsapásokat a jemeni húszik ellen, amiért a lázadók ismét a Vörös-tengeren áthaladó hajókat támadnak – áll a húszik vezette egészségügyi minisztériumnak az X közösségi portálra fölkerült vasárnap reggeli közleményében.
A Fehér Ház közleménye szerint „a húszik 174 alkalommal támadtak meg amerikai hadihajókat és 145 esetben amerikai kereskedelmi hajókat 2023 óta”.– számolt be róla az MTI.
A katonai akció megkezdésére Donald Trump amerikai elnök adott parancsot. Az elnök egyúttal figyelmeztette a húszikat, hogy ha nem hagynak fel a támadásokkal, „olyan pokol zúdul a fejükre, amilyet még sohasem láttak”.
A Truth Social közösségi portálon megjelent posztjában Donald Trump Iránt is figyelmeztette, hogy azonnal hagyjon fel a húszik támogatásával.
„Ha Irán az Egyesült Államokat fenyegeti, Amerika önöket felelősségre fogja vonni, és nem fogunk finomkodni”– írta.
Helyi beszámolók szerint a húszik legfelsőbb politikai tanácsának a székhelyét, fegyverraktárait és parancsnoki központjait érte légicsapás Szanaában.
Joe Biden elnök utasítására az amerikai erők szerdán nagy hatótávolságú B-2-es bombázókkal precíziós csapást hajtottak végre a jemeni húszi lázadók öt föld alatti fegyverraktára ellen – jelentette be aznap este Lloyd Austin, az Egyesült Államok védelmi minisztere.
A húszik továbbra is támadják a Vörös-tengeren elhaladó hajókat, ezzel akadályozzák és veszélyeztetik a nemzetközi kereskedelmet, veszélyeztetik ártatlan civilek és amerikai, illetve az Egyesült Államokkal szövetséges erők katonáit, de a környezetnek is ártanak – közölte Austin.
Az Irán által támogatott síita húszik azóta támadják rendszeresen az Ádeni-öbölben és a Vörös-tengeren közlekedő nyugati kereskedelmi és hadihajókat, hogy a Hamász palesztin iszlamista szervezet Izrael elleni terrortámadásával egy évvel ezelőtt kitört a Gázai övezeti háború. A húszik magyarázatuk szerint ezzel a Hamász oldalán bekapcsolódtak a háborúba.
Már csaknem száz ilyen támadást hajtottak végre.
Sikerült elsüllyeszteniük két hajót, egyet elraboltak, és négy tengerész halálát okozták. A hajók megtámadásán kívül a jemeni lázadók időnként Izrael területét is támadják drónokkal, amit azonban az izraeli légvédelem általában elhárít.
Az Egyesült Államok és Nagy-Britannia ezzel párhuzamosan rendszeresen támadja a húszik indítóállásait és egyéb infrastruktúráját, legutóbb október elején hajtottak végre egy összehangolt támadást 15 célpont ellen azokon a területeken Jemenben, amelyeket a lázadók ellenőrzésük alatt tartanak.
Az amerikai védelmi miniszter közlése szerint a föld alatti fegyverraktárak elleni csapásokkal a húszik ütőképességének gyengítése volt a cél.
A húszik tévéadója, az al-Maszira azt jelentette csütörtök hajnalban, hogy amerikai és brit gépek támadták a főváros, Szanaa, valamint Szaada város egyes pontjait.

Az amerikai hadsereg szombaton két külön helyszínen lelőtt egy drónt és két rakétát, amelyeket jemeni húszi lázadók indítottak a Vörös-tenger déli része felett. Az incidensek idején a térségben tartózkodó hajók nem számoltak be sérültekről vagy károkról – jelentette az Egyesült Államok térségbeli műveleteiért felelős Középső Parancsnoksága (CENTCOM) az X közösségi oldalon közzétett üzenetében.
A megsemmisített drónt a nap folyamán lőtték le, két másik a tengerbe zuhant. Este a Centcom erői „sikeresen” elfogtak két hajó elleni ballisztikus rakétát a Vörös-tenger felett– derült ki az üzenetből.
A Jemen nagy területeit ellenőrző húszik november óta hajtanak végre támadásokat olyan hajók ellen, amelyekről úgy vélik, hogy Izraelhez kötődnek. Azt állítják, hogy a Gázai övezetben élő palesztinok iránti szolidaritásból cselekszenek.
Az övezetben Izrael véres háborút folytat a Hamász ellen, megtorlásul a palesztin iszlamista szélsőséges mozgalom október 7-én, izraeli földön elkövetett, példátlanul véres támadásáért.

A jemeni síita húszi lázadók vasárnap több mint száz foglyot engedtek szabadon az ország fővárosában, Szanaában.
Közlésük szerint egyoldalú humanitárius kezdeményezésként kegyelmeztek meg a fogvatartottaknak. „A legtöbbjük humanitárius eset, betegek, sebesültek és idősek” – mondta a húszik egyik illetékese. Hozzátette, hogy kormánykatonákról van szó, akik harc közben estek fogságba.
Jemen nemzetközileg elismert kormánya ezzel szemben azt közölte, hogy a most elengedett fogvatartottak nem katonák, hanem civilek, akiket a húszi lázadók otthonukból, munkahelyükről vagy mecsetekből raboltak el.
„Ezeknek az áldozatoknak a szabadon bocsátása akármilyen indokkal is történt, nem ad felmentést a húszi lázadók bűntetteire” – jelentette ki az X-en a jemeni emberi jogokért felelős tárca miniszterhelyettese.
A Nemzetközi Vöröskereszt közleményben erősítette meg, hogy a „konfliktussal összefüggésben” fogságba esett 113 embert egyoldalúan szabadon engedtek a húszik.
A jemeni húszi lázadók bejelentették, hogy rakétákkal támadták meg az amerikai USS Mason haditengerészeti rombolót és egy Destiny néven azonosított kereskedelmi hajót a Vörös-tengeren. Az Egyesült Államok 5. flottája, amelynek része a Mason romboló, nem erősítette meg a támadást – jelentette a Times of Israel.
Jahja Szarií, a húszik katonai szóvivője tegnap jelentette be, hogy rakétákkal támadták meg az USS Mason nevű amerikai rombolót és egy Destiny kereskedelmi hajót. A Destiny nevet több hajó is viseli a nyilvántartásokban.

Előzőleg az Ambrey és az UKMTO brit tengerbiztonsági cég közölte: jelentéseket kapott arról, hogy találat ért a Vörös-tengeren, a jemeni Áden közelében egy hajót, amelynek a fedélzetén tűz keletkezett.
„A hajó segítséget kér. A hatóságok tájékozódnak, és intézkednek” – közölte az UKMTO. Az Ambrey szerint az incidens Ádentől 55 mérföldnyire délkeletre történt, ahol rakétatalálat ért egy kereskedelmi hajót, a jelentések szerint a legénység sértetlen.
Az Irán által támogatott síita húszi lázadók, akiknek a kezén van Jemen legsűrűbben lakott területe, a gázai övezeti izraeli hadművelet elleni tiltakozásul november 19. óta támadnak drónokkal és rakétákkal a Vörös-tengeren elhaladó hajókat, amelyek szerintük kapcsolatban állnak Izraellel.

A húszi fegyveresek az utóbbi napokban többször is támadást intéztek a közeli vizeken közlekedő kereskedelmi hajók ellen, amelyek közül nem egyet el is találtak. Két hajón tűz ütött ki, de a legénység nem sérült meg.
A dániai központú Maersk után egyre több nemzetközi hajózási vállalt utasítja arra kapitányait, hogy kerüljék el a Vörös-tengert. A kerülő sok milliárd dolláros kárt okoz a cégeknek és tovább növelheti az inflációt.
Washington szerint ez Irán kifejezett célja, a húszikat ugyanis a teheráni rezsim bíztatja és szereli fel rakétákkal, valamint harci drónokkal. Az amerikai diplomácia azt szeretné, ha a nyugati nagyhatalmak tengerészetei együtt védenék a világ egyik legforgalmasabb kereskedelmi folyosóját.
Két hajót is rakétatámadás ért december 15-én a Vörös-tengeren a jemeni lázadók által irányított területekről – közölte egy amerikai védelmi tisztségviselő és maguk a húszi lázadók is.
A libériai zászlók alatt közlekedő hajókat a Báb-el-Mandeb-szorosban érte találat.
Az első támadásban a német tulajdonban levő, Egyiptomból Szingapúrba tartó al-Jasrah nevű hajót találta el egy rakéta. A fedélzetén tűz ütött ki, de senki sem sérült meg – mondta el egy amerikai tisztségviselő.
A második támadáskor elindított két rakéta közül egy ért célt. A becsapódás hatására tűz keletkezett, amelynek eloltásában a hajó legénysége segédkezett, de szintén nem történt sérülés – közölték a hatóságok.
A húszi lázadók közleményben számoltak be arról, hogy két hajót is támadtak rakétával, de nem tettek említést az al-Jasrah hajóról, csupán az Alanyáról és a Platinum III-ról. Katonai szóvivőjük azt állította, hogy a mozgalmuk irányította jemeni haditengerészet figyelmeztette a két hajót, de azok nem vettek erről tudomást.
Az utóbbi egy napban már harmadszor támadtak a jemeni húszi lázadók Vörös-tengeren közlekedő konténerhajókra. Csütörtökön kis híján eltalálták a Maersk Gibraltar konténerhajót, amely rádión kapott utasítást a húszik irányította jemeni hadseregtől eredeti útvonalának megváltoztatására.
Ez utóbbi hajó tulajdonosa, a dán Maersk hajózási társaság pénteken utasította hajóit, hogy meghatározatlan ideig ne használják a vörös-tengeri útvonalat.
A német kormány szigorúan elítélte pénteken a jemeni húszi lázadókat a hajók megtámadása miatt. Annalena Baerbock külügyminiszter egyúttal megköszönte Szaúd-Arábiának, hogy segít az ilyen támadások meghiúsításában a támadó drónok és rakéták lelövésével.

Rakétatalálat érte keddre virradóra a Vörös-tenger és az Ádeni-öböl között a jemeni partoknál haladó norvég Strinda nevű tartályhajót – jelentette X-üzenetben az amerikai hadsereg Központi Parancsnoksága (CENTCOM).
A CENTCOM szerint a manőverező robotrepülőgépet a jemeni húszi lázadók által ellenőrzött területről indították. A találat tüzet és károkat okozott a tartályhajón.
A brit tengeri kereskedelmi hivatal (UKMTO) jelentése szerint az incidensre a jemeni part menti el-Mukha várostól 15 tengeri mérföldre nyugatra került sor.
A norvég zászló alatt közlekedő Strinda vészjelzést adott le, az USS Mason amerikai hadihajó pedig a segítségére sietett.
A norvég Mowinckel Chemical Tankers vállalat tulajdonában lévő 144 méteres hajó a támadás idején a Vörös-tengert a Földközi-tengerrel összekötő Szuezi-csatorna felé tartott.

A Kpler tengerhajózási nyomkövető rendszer adatai alapján a Strinda növényi olajat és bioüzemanyagokat szállított Malajziából az olaszországi Velencébe. Egyelőre nem világos, hogy a hajónak van-e valamilyen kapcsolata Izraellel.
