Az előző héthez képest az influenzás és légúti vírusfertőzéses megbetegedések száma 19,7%-kal csökkent.
A minisztérium pontosította, hogy a héten 295 megerősített koronavírusos esetet regisztráltak. Egy fertőzött személy elhunyt, aki nem kapott védőoltást a Covid–19 ellen az elmúlt 12 hónapban.
A héten 674 személy kapott influenza elleni védőoltást.

Kárpátalján az egyik legelterjedtebb különösen veszélyes betegség a leptoszpirózis, minden évben regisztrálnak eseteket. Bár a leptospirózis előfordulása a nyári-őszi időszakra tehető, a betegség előfordulása egész évben megfigyelhető.
2023 folyamán 150 leptoszpirózisos esetet regisztráltak, köztük hat 17 éven aluli gyermeknél is kimutatták a betegséget. A megbetegedettek közül 15 halálos esetet regisztráltak, a páciensek későn fordultak orvosi segítségért.
A fertőzés terjedési módjainak elemzése során megállapították, hogy az érintkezéses terjedési mód érvényesül (állatgondozás, mezőgazdasági munka, rágcsálókkal való érintkezés, erdőlátogatás, kikapcsolódás a természetben stb.).
A leptospirózis megbetegedés a leptospira nevű, spirochéta típusú (spirális alakú) baktériumcsalád különböző tagjai által okozott ritka, súlyos fertőző betegség. A leptospirózis vad- és háziállatok betegsége. Egyes állatok hordozói a kórokozóknak, és vizelettel ürítik azt; mások megbetegszenek és elpusztulnak. Az ember akkor kaphatja el, amikor fertőzött állatokkal, vizeletükkel, vagy azzal fertőzött földdel, illetve vízzel kerül kapcsolatba. A leptospirózis tehát a Leptospira baktériumok által okozott zoonózisnak – tehát állatról emberre átvihető fertőzéseknek – az összefoglaló megnevezése.
A betegség 4-16 napos lappangási idő után hirtelen kezdődik. Az egész szervezetet támadja meg: a szem kötőhártyájától a vesékig, a májtól az izmokon át a szívig.
Ennek megfelelően a tünetek is vegyesek: láz hidegrázással, fejfájás, izomfájdalom az alsó lábszárban, hányinger, hányás, kötőhártyavérzés. Szinte minden más panasz és jel is előfordulhat: nyirokcsomó- és máj-megnagyobbodás, kiütések, vérnyomásesés, szívritmuszavarok. Nagyobb bajra utal, ha a beteg bőre be is sárgul, az a máj komolyabb érintettségére utal. Légszomj, köhögés, vérköpés is előfordul, súlyos légzészavarig fokozódó tüdőeltérésekkel. A hidegrázás és a láz 4-9 napon át tart, és elérheti a 38,9 °C-ot. Antibiotikumos kezeléssel gyógyítható.

Az USA két államban is komoly májgyulladásos eseteket jelentettek kisgyerekeknél, ezért az Egyesült Államok Járványügyi Hivatala (CDC) figyelmeztetést adott ki.
Alabamában kilenc, Észak-Karolinában pedig két komoly májgyulladásos esetet jelentettek kisgyerekeknél – írta meg a Patch atlantai kiadása. A betegek egy és hat év közöttiek, korábban teljesen egészségesek voltak, koronavíruson sem estek át.
Több tucat hasonló esetet jelentettek az Egyesült Királyságból, Dániából, Spanyolországból és Hollandiából is.
A májgyulladás vagy hepatitisz a máj heveny vagy idült gyulladásos megbetegedése, amelyet elsősorban különböző vírusfertőzések, de más károsító hatások is okozhatnak. Vezető klinikai tüneteikben sok a hasonlóság, jellemző a sárgaság, a láz, az étvágytalanság, az émelygés, a hányás, a hasi, valamint az ízületi fájdalmak.
Két gyereknek májátültetésre van szüksége
A gyerekek többsége pozitív tesztet mutatott adenovírusra, amely leggyakrabban légzőszervi betegségeket okoz, de gyomorhurutot, kötőhártya-gyulladást, hólyaggyulladást és idegrendszeri betegségeket is okozhat.
Halálesetről nem számoltak be, de két gyereknek májátültetésre van szüksége.
„A betegségeknek egyelőre semmi kiváltó okát nem sikerült azonosítanunk” − közölte Bailey Pennington, Észak-Karolina egészségügyi hivatalának szóvivője.

A jelentés szerint a kongói állampolgárságú nő egy héttel Ukrajnába érkezése után fordult orvoshoz azzal a panasszal, hogy mind neki, mind 10 éves fiának magas a láza. Az asszony közölte az orvosokkal, hogy a gyereke három hónappal korábban esett át maláriás fertőzésen.

Nemrég beszámoltunk róla, hogy Indiában 315 személy került kórházba egy ismeretlen betegség miatt, egy páciens pedig bele is halt a titokzatos kórba. Az egészségügyi dolgozók elmondása szerint a betegek ájulásos, epilepsziás tünetekkel és fejfájással keresték fel a kórházat.
Az indiai orvosok ólmot és nikkelt találtak az emberek vérmintáiban, az egészségügyi intézményekben már több mint 400 személyt kezelnek. A magas ólomszint a vérben megzavarhatja az agy, az idegrendszer és a létfontosságú szervek, mint például a szív és a tüdő működését.
A betegség kiváltó oka egyelőre még nem ismert.
