Az ukrán tüzérség egy támadásában több mint 100 csecsen katona halhatott meg a Herszoni területen.
Először az ukrán hadsereg vezérkara kedden számolt be a csapásról, amelyet követően Szerhij Hlan, a herszoni terület kormányzójának tanácsadója azt is közölte, hogy egy csecsen egységre csaptak le.
A tanácsadó azt írta, hogy legalább negyvenen meghaltak, és körülbelül 200-an megsérültek. Az 1Adat nevű csecsen ellenzéki Telegram-oldal ugyanerről a csapásról azt közölte, hogy a csecsen katonák egy iskola épületében rendezkedtek be, ott érte őket a csapás, és több mint százan életüket veszíthették.
A telegram-csatorna azt is közölte, hogy a tüzérségi támadást HIMARS-rakétavetőkkel hajthatták végre, valamint egy videót is közzétettek arról, hogy miként keresték bajtársaikat az épület romjai alatt a csecsen katonák.
