Késhegyre a magyarokkal, és magyarok takarodjatok! Ezt fújták fel ismeretlenek Palágykomoróc görögkatolikus templomára, melynek bejáratát fel is gyújtották. Mindez, szerdán az esti órákban történt. A templom mellett lévő határőr-állomáson szolgálatot teljesítő határőrök észlelték a tüzet, ők értesítették a tűzoltókat, akik gyorsan három járművel a helyszínre érkeztek. A tűz ennek köszönhetően nem terjedt tovább, de a sekrestye ajtaja jelentős károkat szenvedett. A gyújtogatásban senki sem sérült meg, az ügyben pedig zajlik a nyomozás, az esetet az ukrán hatóságok provokációnak minősítették.

Vandál támadás érte a gödöllői görögkatolikus templomot – írja a Vasárnap.hu. A portál információi szerint az elkövetők felgyújtották a templom padjait és az ikonosztázt is gyúlékony anyaggal locsolták le.
Sivadó János parókus a Vasárnap.hu-nak telefonon nyilatkozva megerősítette a támadás tényét. Mint mondta, a templomban hétfő este pár perccel nyolc óra után keletkezett tűz, a vandál cselekedetnek szemtanúja is van. Az elkövető elmenekült a helyszínről, a kár több millió forint. A lelkipásztor hangsúlyozta; mindez keresztényellenes cselekedet volt.
A megtámadott ikonosztázt tavaly ősszel szentelték a Hajdúdorogi Főegyházmegye tudósítása szerint. Az egyház saját nyilvántartása alapján a városban mintegy 300 görögkatolikus él, akiknek 20 éve van saját lelkészségük.
