Az Odessza megyei Szuhij Liman falu közelében egy teherautó letarolt egy közúti ellenőrzőpontot, aminek következtében két ott tartózkodó katona életét vesztette – számolt be pénteken az rbc.ua hírportál az Odessza megyei rendőrségre hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint ma reggel 7 óra körül egy teherautó belehajtott egy katonai ellenőrzőpontba a Szuhij Liman falu közelében az autóúton. A gázolás következtében egy 34 és egy 36 éves katona meghalt.
Mint Dmitro Szluta, az Odessza megyei rendőrség nyomozó osztálya közlekedési bűncselekményeket nyomozó alosztályának a vezetője megjegyezte, hogy megállapították, hogy egy 63 éves teherautó-sofőr elütött két katonát, akik egy mobil ellenőrzőpont közelében tartózkodtak. A sofőr elmondta, hogy nem vette észre őket.
„Sajnos az egyik áldozat a helyszínen meghalt, a másik a mentőautóban, úton a kórházba. A sofőr ittassági vizsgálata kimutatta, hogy józan volt” – tette hozzá a rendőrség.
A baleset helyszínén a forgalom nehézkes. A helyi lakosokat arra kérik, hogy útvonalválasztáskor vegyék figyelembe ezeket az információkat. „Újra kérjük a járművezetőket, hogy szigorúan tartsák be a közlekedési szabályokat, legyenek óvatosak, és figyeljék a közúti helyzetet” – tette hozzá az Odessza megyei rendőrség.

Három ember életét vesztette, amikor egy kamion sofőrje – aki a hatóságok szerint illegálisan tartózkodott az Egyesült Államokban – a forgalmas autópálya közepén próbált szabálytalanul megfordulni. Az elkövető nem beszél megfelelően angolul, és a közlekedési táblák felismerésével is gondja van, ennek ellenére vezetői engedélyt kapott Kaliforniában, amely tagállam a szövetségi szabályokkal szembemenve menedéket nyújt az illegális bevándorlóknak.
A tragédia augusztus 12-én, délután három óra körül történt a Florida Turnpike autópályán, Fort Pierce közelében. A nyomozás szerint a kamiont vezető Harjinder Singh élesen balra kormányozta járművét, és a manőver következtében a hatalmas pótkocsi teljes szélességében elzárta az autópályát, így a mögötte érkező fekete járműnek esélye sem volt elkerülni az ütközést, becsapódott a kamion oldalába, és alászorult.
A felvételek szerint a halálos közúti balesetet okozó Singh arckifejezése közönyös maradt, miközben látta, ahogy a jármű belerohan a kamionjába. Nyugodtan leállította a kamion motorját, majd karba tett kézzel figyelte, ahogy a mentőcsapatok megpróbálják kiszabadítani az áldozatok holttestét.
A baleset következtében a jármű két utasa a helyszínen életét vesztette, a harmadik sérültet ugyan kimentették a roncsból, de kórházba szállítása után elhunyt. A hatóságok később megerősítették, hogy az áldozatok egy 37 éves nő, egy 30 és egy 54 éves férfi voltak.
Az ügyet súlyosbítja, hogy Singh – akinek a személyazonosságát és állampolgárságát a hatóságok még vizsgálják – 2018-ban illegálisan lépte át a mexikói határt. Bár korábban majdnem kitoloncolták, de menedékjogi kérelme miatt az Egyesült Államokban maradhatott.
Később Kaliforniában és egy másik „menedékállamban” (illegális bevándorlókat megtűrő tagállamok) is sikerült megszereznie a teherautó-vezetői engedélyt, annak ellenére, hogy több alkalommal megbukott az angol nyelvi és közlekedési vizsgákon.
Az amerikai közlekedési minisztérium tájékoztatása szerint a sofőr a vezetői engedélye megszerzése előtti vizsgán a tizenkét szóbeli kérdésből csak kettőre adott helyes választ, és a négy közúti közlekedési táblából csak egyet azonosított helyesen.
A tragédia után a floridai hatóságok és az amerikai bevándorlási hivatal háromrendbeli emberölés, valamint a bevándorlási szabályok megsértésének vádjával őrizetbe vették a férfit. Ha elítélik, büntetését Floridában tölti le, majd kiutasítják az országból.

Különös támadás történt még január végén a csehországi D5-ös autópályán: egy BMW utasa menet közben lőtte ki csúzlival egy teherautó oldalablakát – írja a Korrespondent a Novinky cseh lapra hivatkozva. A két ukrán férfi ellen csak nemrég emeltek vádat. A pilseni ügyészség friss közlése szerint a 39 éves ukrán sofőr és 28 éves utasa akár több év börtönbüntetésre is számíthat.
A vád szerint a két ukrán férfi előzés közben lassított, majd a BMW utasa kihajolt az ablakon, és csúzlival vette célba a teherautó sofőrjét. A támadás következtében az oldalsó ablak betört, az üvegszilánkok pedig szétrepültek a kabinban. A történteket egy fedélzeti kamera is rögzítette.
A teherautó sofőrjének sikerült biztonságosan félreállnia, így szerencsére nem sérült meg senki. Az ügyészség szerint azonban hajszálon múlt a súlyos baleset, hiszen a kamion a támadás pillanatában 90 kilométer per órás sebességgel haladt, és a környező forgalom is sűrű volt.
A nyomozók szerint csak a többi sofőr gyors reakciójának köszönhető, hogy nem történt tömegszerencsétlenség.
A BMW utasa a kihallgatása alatt tagadta, hogy ő okozta volna az ablak betörését. Azt állítja, hogy csupán a középső ujját mutatta be a kamionsofőrnek, mert szerinte az hirtelen és szabálytalanul kezdett előzni. Úgy véli, hogy az ablak akár egy felpattanó kőtől is betörhetett. Az ügyészség ennek ellenére súlyos közúti veszélyeztetés miatt indítványoz börtönbüntetést, így a sofőrre három, utasára akár öt év szabadságvesztés is várhat, ha bűnösnek találják őket.
A lap szerint az említett eset csak egy a külföldön elkövetett, ukrán állampolgárokhoz köthető ügyek sorában. Nemrég Lengyelországban egy 36 éves ukrán férfit vettek őrizetbe, mert megrongált egy vízellátó rendszert, míg Varsóban két másik ukrán férfit egy bevásárlóközpontban keletkezett tűzesettel hoztak összefüggésbe.

Szörnyű baleset történt a Munkácsi járásban, Hársfalva közelében – két tehergépjármű ütközött össze.
Az információk szerint az egyik kamion 22 éves sofőrje elvesztette uralmát a jármű felett, áttért a szembejövő sávba, ahol összeütközött egy másik teherautóval, amely a saját sávjában haladt.
A baleset következtében a 22 éves Lemberg megyei sofőr megsérült, jelenleg kórházban van. A másik járművezető sérülés nélkül megúszta a történteket.

Egy ember meghalt, sokan megsebesültek Texasban, amikor egy férfi lopott kamionnal, bosszúból belehajtott az állami közbiztonsági hivatal épületébe pénteken.
A 42 éves Clenard Parker – egy hivatásos sofőr – Brenham városában egy nappal azt követően követte el a támadást, hogy a hivatalban elutasították teherautó-vezetői jogosítványának kiadását.
A férfi helyi idő szerint péntek délelőtt ellopott egy szállítmánnyal megrakott nagy méretű, 18 kerekű félpótkocsis kamiont, és nekivezette az épületnek. A helyszíni felvételek azt mutatták, hogy az épület komolyan megsérült, valamint a kamion vezetőfülkéje is roncsolódott.
A támadás halálos áldozata a kórházban hunyt el, rajta kívül 13 sérültről számoltak be a helyi hatóságok.
A település polgármestere, Atwood Kenjura sajtótájékoztatóján értelmetlen tragédiának nevezte a történteket. Hozzátette, hogy a férfi megpróbált kitolatni az épületből, és másodszor nekihajtani annak, ami a vizsgálat szerint a ház teljes összeomlásához vezetett volna.
A bosszú vezérelte elkövető sértetlenül szállt ki a kamionból, megpróbált elmenekülni, de a rendőrök elfogták, és letartóztatták.
Clenard Parker ellen az ügyészség több rendbeli bűncselekmény miatt tervez vádat emelni.

Harmincöt menekültet találtak egy kamion utánfutójában Alsó-Ausztriában. Az embereket azután fedezték fel, hogy a jármű megsérült, és egy autószerelő műhely egyik munkatársa hangokat hallott a rakománytérből. A kamion sofőrjét letartóztatták.
A lengyel rendszámú jármű azután szerzett sérüléseket, hogy szerdán rossz irányba hajtott ki egy autópálya melletti pihenőhelyről. A kamion gumijai elkezdtek lángolni, azonban a sofőrnek sikerült eloltania a tűzet. A szemtanúk értesítették az autópálya-rendőrséget, akik a közeli Villach egyik autószerelő műhelyébe szállították a járművet.
A műhely egyik munkatársa szerda este 9 órakor észlelt hangokat a félreparkolt utánfutóból. Egy kollégája infrakamera segítségével megállapította, hogy a rakománytérben mozgás is van. Ekkor értesítették a rendőröket, akik felnyitották az utánfutót.
Összesen 35 embert találtak bent, akik több mint 70 órát töltöttek élelem nélkül a hideg rakománytérben. A menekültek azt mondták, Bangladesből, Nepálból és Egyiptomból érkeztek. A hatóságok azonban még vizsgálják a származásukat.

Több mint másfél tonna kokaint foglalt le a helyi rendőrség Mexikóvárosban két teherautóban, ami a latin-amerikai ország fővárosának eddig legnagyobb drogfogása lehet – közölte kedden Omar García Harfuch rendőrfőnök sajtótájékoztatóján.
A kábítószert csomagok százaiba töltve találták meg a rakterekben kialakított titkos rekeszekben.
García Harfuch szerint a kokain tengeri úton érkezett Kolumbiából Mexikóba a csendes-óceáni partvidéken található Puerto Escondido kikötőjébe, ahonnan a mintegy 3600 kilométerre északra található Los Angelesbe küldték volna tovább, bár a drog egy része Mexikóvárosban maradt volna.
A Kolumbia és az Egyesült Államok közötti csempészútvonalakon a biztonsági erők gyakran bukkannak kokainszállítmányokra, igaz rendszerint a tengeren.
García Harfuch elmondta, hogy a mexikói hatóságok bejelentést kaptak, amelynek alapján átkutatták a két teherautót. A közlés szerint a kábítószerszállítmány mögött egy bűnszervezett áll, amely főleg a Mexikóvárostól északnyugatra található Durango és Sinaloa államokban tevékenykedik. Az ügyben eddig négy gyanúsítottat vettek őrizetbe.
