Fantomkép alapján még hétfőn őrizetbe vettek egy gyanúsítottat a rejtélyes franciaországi lócsonkítások ügyében a francia hatóságok.







A Németországgal határos Haut-Rhin megyében tartóztattak le egy 50 éves munkanélküli férfit, aki szökésben lévő társával együtt egy hátaslovat és két pónit késelt meg augusztus 24-én éjjel Villefranche-Saint-Phal településen a Párizstól délre fekvő Yonne megyében.



A férfiról, akit Németországban állatbántalmazóként, Franciaországban pedig drogüzérként ismernek, a megtámadott állatmenhely tulajdonosa által adott személyleírás alapján adtak ki fantomképet. A tettesek a gazdát is megsebesítették egy kerti késsel, mielőtt elmenekültek a helyszínről.



Ez az első letartóztatás a hónapok franciaországi óta tartó lókéselések, lócsonkolások ügyében, de távolról sem biztos, hogy ezzel megoldódott a rejtély, mert az ország legkülönbözőbb vidékein – összesen 20 megyében – történtek támadások, amelyekben a módszerek is különböznek.



A hétvégén Dijon térségében a csendőrség nagyszabású hajtóvadászatot indított a tettesek elfogására, miután egy környékbeli farmon megkéseltek egy csődört, Cantal megyében pedig holtan találtak egy kibelezett kancát, amelynek levágták az egyik fülét és a tőgyét. A fővároshoz közeli Val-d’Oise régióban is a hétvégén észlelték az első rejtélyes lóbántalmazást, itt két kancát késeltek meg, egyiket a nemi szervén, a másikat az oldalán.



A nyomozás vezetője szerint összesen több mint 150 esetet vizsgálnak, de nem biztos, hogy ezek mind összefüggnek egymással. Húsz levágott fülről tudnak, ezekhez járulnak még a megcsonkított nemi szervek és az éles tárgyal végrehajtott bemetszések esetei.



Egyes állatoknak a szemét vájták ki, vagy az orrlyukát vágták át.



Az első eseteket már az év elején észlelték, a nyár folyamán azonban a támadások megszaporodtak, és már teheneket, sőt szamarakat is érintettek. A rejtélyes csonkítások nyomán a hatóságok éberségre szólították fel a lótartókat.



A bűncselekmények indítékát a nyomozók is csak találgatják. Elképzelhetőnek tartják, hogy valamilyen internetes kihívás vagy fogadás áll a háttérben, de az is lehet, hogy egy kényszeres bűnelkövető áll a csonkítások hátterében.
