A tiltakozókkal találkozott Mihajlo Holovko, a megyei tanács elnöke. Kijelentette, hogy támogatja a tüntetők követeléseit. Az akció résztvevői levelet küldtek Ukrajna, a parlament és a megyei állami adminisztráció elnökeinek, arra kérve őket, hogy támogassák követeléseiket.

Ezrek tüntettek vasárnap Csehország fővárosában a koronavírus terjedésének feltartóztatása érdekében elrendelt, nemrég meghosszabbított korlátozások ellen.
A rendőrség arról számolt be, hogy mintegy 2500-3000 ember vonult utcára Prágában, helyi sajtójelentések szerint a résztvevők közül sokan nem viseltek maszkot, illetve nem tartották be a fizikai távolságtartásra vonatkozó előírásokat.
Többen táblákat tartottak a magasba, amelyeken a „koronaterror”, a „Covid-zsarnokság” felszámolását követelték.
A főváros szívében, az Óváros téren tartott rendezvényen Václav Klaus korábbi cseh államfő is felszólalt.
„Véget kell vetni ezen egyoldalú kormányrendeleteknek. Világosan és egyértelműen akarjuk üzenni a kormánynak, hogy ami elég, az elég. Elég volt már az életünket alapvetően károsító tiltásokból és rendeletekből” – mondta a 79 éves exelnök, hozzátéve, hogy nem fogja magát beoltatni a vírus ellen.
Csehországban a héten meghosszabbították a járványellenes korlátozásokat. Ezek értelmében maximum kétfős találkozók engedélyezettek közterületen, s az üzletek többsége is zárva tart, ahogyan például a szállodák és az éttermek is, továbbá lakhelyelhagyási tilalom van érvényben este 9 órától hajnali 5-ig.
Milos Zeman cseh elnök vasárnap türelmet kért az állampolgároktól, illetve az óvintézkedések betartására szólított fel, mondván, az esetszám megugrása annak számlájára írható, hogy sokan nem vették komolyan a szabályokat.
A 76 éves Zeman emellett méltatta az Európai Uniót a vakcinavásárlásokban vállalt szerepéért, és leszögezte, hogy ő be fogja magát oltatni. Szombatig mintegy 40 ezer embert oltottak be a koronavírus ellen Csehországban.

A vasárnapi poltavai tiltakozó akcióval majdnem egyidejűleg helyi lakosok zárták le a forgalom előtt a Harkiv-Szimferopol autóutat a Harkiv megyei Piszocsin városban, tiltakozásul a földgáz árának emelése ellen – adta hírül az rbc.ua hírportál.
Helyi médiaforrások szerint a város határában lévő közlekedési rendőrposztnál mintegy félszáz helyi lakos kezdtek tüntetni a lakossági földgáz drágulása ellen. A tiltakozók a Harkiv-Szimferopol autóút egyik zebráján oda-vissza járással akadályozták a forgalmat. A rendre 15 rendőr felügyelt a helyszínen, a forgalmat nagyrészt kerülőútra terelték, ezért nagyobb fennakadás nem volt a közlekedésben.
Sajtóinformáció szerint a tiltakozó akció résztvevői azt követelik, hogy a hatóságok vonják vissza a gáz árának emeléséről szóló rendeletet, és tegyék lehetővé, hogy a helyi közösségek önállóan döntsenek a közműdíjszabásról.
Vasárnap délben helyi lakosok zárták le a forgalom elől a Kijev-Harkiv autóutat Poltavában, így tiltakozva a földgáz árának emelése ellen.

A lakossági gáz árának emelése ellen tiltakozó lakosok zárták le csütörtökön a Harkiv megyei Valki városban a Harkiv-Kijev autóutat, a tüntetők egyúttal szolidaritásukról biztosították azokat a demonstrálókat, akik hasonló okokból Poltava megyében akadályozták a forgalmat három nappal korábban – adta hírül a strana.ua hírportál.
A jelentés szerint a tiltakozók előre bejelentve egy órára zárták le a forgalmat a Harkiv-Kijev autóúton, 12:00 és 13:00 óra között. A szervezők célja a lakossági gáz árának emelése elleni tiltakozás mellett az volt, hogy szolidaritásukat fejezzék ki a Poltava megyében és más ukrán régiókban hasonló okokból tüntetők iránt.
Mint a hírportál jelezte a Valkiban tiltakozók védőmaszkot viseltek, de nem mindig tartották be a kötelező távolságot. A helyszínen sok rendőr volt jelen.

Annak ellenére, hogy Ali Yerlikaya, Isztambul tartomány kormányzója, szerdán az új koronavírus okozta járványhelyzetre tekintettel a metropolisz Besiktas és Sariyer nevű kerületében betiltott mindennemű demonstrációt, koradélután tiltakozók százai gyűltek össze a Bogazici Egyetem rektori épülete előtt fokozott rendőri jelenlét kíséretében.
A tüntetők a délután folyamán a besiktasi kompállomáshoz vonultak, majd átkeltek a Boszporuszon a nagyváros ázsiai oldalára, hogy Kadiköy kerületben folytassák a tiltakozást.
A Bogazici Egyetem új rektora, Melih Bulu, közgazdász professzor, aki 2015-ben a kormányon lévő Igazság és Fejlődés Pártja (AKP) képviselőjeként akart indulni a parlamenti választásokon.
Rektori kinevezése szombaton jelent meg a hivatalos közlönyben, a diáktüntetés pedig hétfőn kezdődött Isztambulban. Akkor a hallgatók össze is csaptak a rendőrökkel, sőt néhány diáknak sikerült bejutnia az egyetem kampuszára, ahol elfoglaltak egy épületet.
Kedden számos tanár fejezte ki nemtetszését Bulu kinevezésével kapcsolatban. Felsorakoztak az egyetem udvarán, és hátat fordítottak a rektori épületnek, amikor Bulu átvette elődjétől a hivatalát.
A tiltakozásokkal összefüggésben keddig 22 embert, szerdán pedig további 14-et vettek őrizetbe.
Az Anadolu török állami hírügynökség szerdán azt jelentette, hogy az előállítottak közül 12-en korábban részt vettek különféle terrorszervezetek tevékenységében vettek részt, 24-en pedig csatlakoztak szélsőbaloldali szervezetek megmozdulásaihoz. 34-en különböző egyetemek diákjai.
Az 1980-as török katonai puccs óta Bulu az első rektor, akit nem a Bogazici Egyetem választott saját berkeiből az intézmény élére. Korábban a török felsőoktatási intézmények maguk választották meg rektoraikat, de 2016 óta Erdogan magához vonta a kinevezés jogát.
A főleg angol nyelven oktató Bogazici Egyetemet 1863-ban alapították akkor még Robert College néven. Ez volt az első amerikai egyetem az Egyesült Államok területén kívül. 1971-ben nevezték át a Boszporusz után (Bogazici), amelynek európai partján fekszik.

Megtámadták az Amerikai Egyesült Államok Capitoliumát Washingtonban Donald Trump hívei – írja a Fox News. Az elnök hívei a demokratákhoz kapcsolódó választási csalások miatt tiltakoznak.
Szerda este több száz tüntető betört az Amerikai Egyesült Államok Capitoliumába. A képviselőház és a szenátus ülését, amelyen hivatalosan bejegyzik az elektorok Joe Bidenre leadott szavazatát, felfüggesztették. A képviselőket a rendőrség kíséri ki az épületből. Több televízió szerint a hatóságok könnygázt is bevetettek a tüntetők ellen.
A biztonságiak tehát nem bírtak a tiltakozókkal, akik bejutottak az épületbe is.
A Fox News szerint a mai napon már a Capitolium két épületét is ki kellett üríteni, mivel több gyanús csomagot is találtak a közelükben.
Donald Trump korábban az összegyűlt hívei előtt kijelentette, hogy soha nem fogja elismerni vereségét, illetve Joe Biden demokrata párti elnökjelölt győzelmét az elnökválasztáson. Trump a demokratákhoz kapcsolódó választási csalásokra hivatkozott, és felszólította alelnökét, Mike Pence-t hogy ne hirdesse ki Joe Biden győzelmét a kongresszus két házának együttes ülésén.
„Soha nem adjuk fel, soha nem ismerjük el a vereséget” – mondta a Fehér Ház közelében található Ellipse parkban tartott megmozduláson. „Megállítjuk a lopást” – jelentette ki Trump a gyanús körülmények között lebonyolított választásra utalva.
Donald Trump arra szólította fel híveit a Twitteren, hogy békésen tüntessenek.

A kiadvány helyszíni tudósítása szerint a tiltakozó akciót Jevhen Karasz, a C14 radikális szélsőjobboldali szervezet vezetője hirdette meg a közösségi médiában, ahol az ukrán nacionalisták bocsánatkérésre szólították fel Izraelt az ukrán „népirtásért”, utalva arra, hogy a holodomorban a fő szerepet zsidó származású bolsevikok játszották. Olekszij Cimbaljuk ismert nacionalista egyenesen arra szólított fel a zsidó államot, hogy „ne haragudjon többé Hitlerre a holokauszt miatt”.
Karasz a tüntetésen közölte, hogy a tiltakozó akcióban a Szvoboda párt, a Jobb Szektor, a Hagyomány és Rend, valamint a Nemzeti Hadtest tagjai vettek részt. A C14 vezetője Izrael ukrajnai nagykövetét „buta, meleg libának és hazugnak” nevezte.

Rendőrök csaptak össze tüntető diákokkal hétfőn Isztambulban, akik az ellen tiltakoztak, hogy Recep Tayyip Erdogan török elnök rendeletben nevezte ki az ország egyik vezető egyetemének rektorát.
A tüntetők szerint az államfő nem demokratiku úton nevezte ki Melih Bulu közgazdász professzort az Isztambuli Bogazici Egyetem élére.
Az intézkedés tiltakozást váltott ki az akadémikusok soraiban is. A közösségi médiában megjelent tudósítások szerint diákok százai tüntettek Bulu lemondását követelve – írja az MTI.
„Melih Bulu nem a mi rektorunk”, „Nem akarunk államilag kijelölt rektort” – skandálták a felháborodott isztambuli diákok. Néhányuknak sikerült bejutnia az egyetem kampuszára, ahol elfoglaltak egy épületet.
Későbbi felvételeken a diákok és a biztonsági erők dulakodását lehetett látni, több tüntetőt előállítottak. A török rendőrség egyelőre nem reagált a történtekre.
Bulu a török sajtó szerint a kormányon lévő Igazság és Fejlődés Pártja (AKP) képviselőjeként akart indulni a 2015-ös parlamenti választásokon. Az 1980-as török katonai puccs óta Bulu az első rektor, akit nem az egyetem választott saját berkeiből a felsőoktatási intézmény élére.
A Bogazici Egyetem tantestülete közleményben tudatta, hogy nem fogadják el a kinevezést, mert az világosan sérti az egyetemi szabadságot, a tudományos autonómiát és az egyetem demokratikus értékeit. Hozzátette, hogy ez a lépés a 2016 óta zajló antidemokratikus intézkedések újabb megnyilvánulása.
A tantestület ezzel az elvetélt puccskísérletet követő nagyszabású kormányzati megtorlásra utalt, amelynek során a hatóságok az eltelt lassan négy és fél évben százezreket vettek őrizetbe, tízezreket zárattak börtönbe, ezreket ítéltek szabadságvesztésre, köztük katonákat, rendőröket, bírákat, ügyészeket, orvosokat, tanárokat, üzletembereket és újságírókat, ami miatt az ankarai kormányzatot számos nemzetközi bírálat érte.
Korábban a török felsőoktatási intézmények maguk választották meg rektoraikat, de 2016 óta Erdogan magához vonta a kinevezés jogát.
2018-ban az egyetem több diákját is őrizetbe vették, mert tüntettek Törökország szíriai katonai beavatkozása ellen. Erdogan akkor árulóknak és terroristáknak nevezte a diákokat.
A kormánypárt szóvivője, Omer Celik az AKP sajtótájékoztatóján azt állította, hogy Bulu kinevezése szerintük nem irányul a tudományos élet szabadsága ellen.
A főleg angol nyelven oktató Bogazici Egyetemet 1863-ban alapították akkor még Robert College néven. Ez volt az első amerikai egyetem az Egyesült Államok területén kívül.

A helyszíni tudósítás szerint a tiltakozás résztvevői megengedhetetlennek tartották, hogy az egészségügyi tárca immáron többedszer készül arra, hogy megvonja a daganatos betegeknek ingyen járó gyógyszerek állami finanszírozását arra való hivatkozással, hogy a pénzre most a Covid-19 elleni vakcina beszerzése miatt van szükség. A tüntetők azt állították, hogy az egészségügyi miniszter 500 millió hrivnyát akar elvenni a rákbetegek gyógyszereinek állami beszerzésére létrehozott alapból. Szerintük Makszimov úgy véli, hogy a koronavírus elleni vakcina beszerzését nem a Covid-19 elleni küzdelemre létrehozott alapból kell finanszírozni, hanem a daganatos betegektől kell az állami pénzt elvenni.
A rákbetegek szerint az 500 millió hrivnyából sok daganatos páciens életének megmentését lehetővé tévő gyógyszert lehetne vásárolni. A rák elleni gyógyszerek nagyon drágák, a betegeknek nincs lehetőségük arra, hogy saját költségen vásárolják meg azokat – emlékeztettek, rámutatva, hogy az állam segítsége nélkül a rákbetegek halálra vannak ítélve.
