Ismét utcára vonultak a demonstrálók Belorussziában, kifejezvén nemtetszésüket az ellentmondásos úton megválasztott elnök, Aljakszandr Lukasenkával szemben.
Közel 200 ezer ember gyűlt össze a nagyvárosok utcáin csütörtök délután, hogy egy hatalmas demonstráció keretében Lukasenka lemondását követeljék – írta az AP hírügynökség.
A fehérorosz belügyminisztérium szóvivője, Olga Hemodanova elmondta, közel kétszáz embert tartóztattak le a hatóságok illegális gyülekezés szervezésének gyanúja miatt.
Lukasenkát egyébként Európa utolsó diktátorának tartják, és hiába próbálta az ellenzék évtizedeken keresztül leváltani posztjáról a keménykezű vezetőt, egyszer sem sikerült az akció, melynek következtében már 26 éve államfőként tevékenykedhet.
A tüntetések első hulláma augusztusban tört ki azután, hogy az ellenzék szerint elcsalták az elnökválasztásokat, ugyanis az exit pollok alapján nem neki, hanem éppen legfőbb kihívójának kellett volna győznie.
A legutóbbi nagyobb demonstráción tavaly több mint 33 ezer embert tartóztatott le a belorusz rendőrség, az őrizetbe vett állampolgárok nagy részét azóta börtönbüntetésre és súlyos pénzbírságra ítélték.
Lukasenka ellenfele, Szvjatlana Cihanouszkaja az elnökválasztás után Litvániába menekült, míg támogatóit sorozatos razziákon elfogták, és szintén börtönbe vitték, miközben politikai partnerei egyaránt disszidáltak az országból.

Tizenöt nap elzárásra ítélték csütörtökön Nyikolaj Kozlovot, a fehérorosz ellenzéki Egyesült Polgári Párt (OGP) elnökét, aki egyben az ellenzéki Koordinációs Tanács tagja is – közölte az OGP a honlapján.
Az ellenzéki koordinációs tanács tájékoztatása szerint Kozlovot abban találta bűnösnek egy minszki bíróság, hogy nem engedelmeskedett egy hatósági személy szolgálati kötelezettsége teljesítése közben tett törvényes utasításának.
Kozlov ellen február végén eljárás indult tanúvallomás, előzetes nyomozás, illetve zárt bírósági tárgyalás adatainak szándékos nyilvánosságra hozatala címén. Az ellenzéki politikus ugyanis háromszor tagadta meg a titoktartási megállapodás aláírását a fehérorosz Nyomozó Bizottságban (SZK) történt meghallgatása kapcsán a fehérorosz alkotmány 27. cikkelyére hivatkozva, miszerint senki sem kötelezhető arra, hogy tanúvallomást tegyen saját maga, családja, illetve közeli hozzátartozó ellen. A politikust akkor is tizenöt nap elzárásra ítélték.
Kozlov az ellenzéki Koordinációs Tanács létrehozatala ügyében tanúként szerepel. Fehéroroszországban az augusztus 9-i elnökválasztást az országot több mint két évtizede irányító Lukasenka nyerte meg a hivatalos adatok szerint a szavazatok 80,1 százalékával. A valódi győztesnek Cihanouszkaját tartó ellenzék szerint meghamisították az eredményeket. Lukasenkát a Nyugat, ezen belül az Európai Unió sem ismeri el törvényes államfőnek. A választás óta hetente tartottak tiltakozó megmozdulásokat, amelyeket a biztonsági erők brutálisan levertek. Több mint 30 ezer tüntetőt tartóztattak le, több tiltakozó életét vesztette, további százak pedig megsérültek a megmozdulások során. A hatóságilag nem engedélyezett tüntetéseken való részvétel miatt büntetőeljárások százai indultak, és az ellenzék több vezetőjét, így a békés hatalomátadás céljából létrehozott Koordinációs Tanács számos tagját is bíróság elé állították.

A fehérorosz hatóságok több házkutatást is végeztek az újságíróknál és a rendőrségi munkatársaknál február 16-án az ország területén. A jelentések szerint átkutatták a minszki Veszna jogvédelmi központ irodáit és a belorusz újságírók szövetségének székházát. A Veszna három emberük őrizetbe vételéről számolt be.
A belorusz kormány azt állítja, hogy a házkutatások a „magukat jogvédelmi aktivistának valló szervezetek” által folytatott tüntetések finanszírozásának vizsgálatához kapcsolódnak.

Február 17-én egy belarusz bíróság elé állítják azt az egyikori bankárt, aki elnökjelöltként próbált szembeszállni Aljakszandr Lukasenkával. Viktar Babarikát még a vitatott kimenetelű voksolás előtt letartóztatták. Szerinte koholt vádak alapján akarják elítélni.
Viktor Babarinka ellenzéki politikus nem sokkal csütörtöki előzetes bírósági meghallgatása után jelentette be a Telegramon létrehozott csatornáján, hogy perbe fogják Belaruszban.
Az előzetes meghallgatást egy minszki helyi bíróságon tartották, ahol maga a férfi nem jelent meg. Viszont ott volt több másik vádlott, akik közül hatan különböző vádalkukat kötöttek az enyhébb büntetés reményében.
Babarinka perét a Belarusz Legfelsőbb Bíróságon tartják majd meg. A lépést bírálta a volt elnökjelölt ügyvédje, Dzmitrij Lajeuszkij, mivel ez szerinte lehetetlenné teszi a fellebbezést abban az esetben, ha bűnösnek találják.
Viktor Babarinka korábban az orosz tulajdonban lévő Belgazprombank egyik vezetőjeként dolgozott. Júniusban, fiával Eduarddal együtt pénzmosás, vesztegetés és adócsalás vádjával vették őrizetbe.
A bankár letartóztatása előtt három nappal a belarusz hatóságok átvették az irányítást a bank felett, és több mint egy tucatnyi vezető tisztségviselőt elzártak a pénzmosás és adócsalás vádjával. A vádakat összes vádlott elutasította és politikailag motiváltnak nevezte a vádakat.
Lukasenkát tavaly augusztus 9-én kiáltották ki az elnökválasztás győztesének. Ennek nyomán több tízezer belarusz vonult tüntetni az utcákra, mert szerintük meghamisították a választási eredményt.
A tüntetések azóta is tartanak. A tiltakozók azt követelik, hogy az 1994 óta hatalmon lévő Lukasenka távozzon posztjáról.
Lukasenka eddig nem volt hajlandó tárgyalni az ellenzékkel A belarusz biztonsági szervek keményen lesújtottak a tüntetőkre, több ezer embert tartóztattak le. Emberi jogvédő szervezetek szerint bizonyítékok vannak arról, hogy az őrizetbe vettek egy részével brutálisan bántak, megkínozták őket, egyesek életüket is vesztették, közben pedig elüldözték az országból az ellenzéki vezetők többségét.
Lukasenka tagadja, hogy választási csalással őrizte meg a hatalmát és eddig nem volt hajlandó tárgyalni a Szvjatlana Cihanovszkaja által vezetett ellenzékkel. Cihanovszkaja hívei szerint valójában ő nyerte az augusztusi elnökválasztást.
Az Európai Unió, az Egyesült Államok, Kanada és más országok nem hajlandók Belarusz legitim vezetőjének elismerni a 66 éves Lukasenkát. Emellett egy sor szankciót vezettek be ellene és vezető belarusz tisztségviselők ellen a szavazás „meghamisítása” és a választások utáni kemény karhatalmi fellépés miatt.

Fehéroroszországban a nemrég üzembe helyezett asztravjeci atomerőmű egyik blokkját le kellett állítani a biztonsági rendszer jelzése miatt – jelentette szombaton a minszki energiaügyi minisztérium.
„A kísérleti üzem alatt az 1-es blokk védelmi rendszere bekapcsolt, a rendszereket és a felszereléseket megvizsgálják. A háttérsugárzás az erőmű környékén normális” – tudatta a minisztérium.
Az ország északi részén található Asztravjec mellett fekvő létesítményt tavaly novemberben avatta fel Aljakszandr Lukasenka elnök, majd nem sokkal később le kellett állítani, és végül csaknem két héttel később indították újra. A minisztérium tájékoztatása szerint az erőmű névleges teljesítményének 40 százalékán üzemel.
Fehéroroszország az orosz 3+ generációs blokktípust választotta első atomerőművéhez, amelyet a Roszatom orosz vállalat épített meg. Két VVER-1200 típusú blokkja összesen 2400 megawatt teljesítményű. Oroszország 10 milliárd euró hitelt nyújtott a beruházáshoz.
A szomszédos Litvánia, melynek fővárosától az erőmű csak mintegy 50 kilométerre van, hevesen ellenezte az atomerőmű megépítését. A balti állam egyáltalán nem tartja biztonságosnak a fehérorosz erőművet.
Lukasenka elnök korábban közölte, fontolgatják egy második atomerőmű megépítését, és javasolta, hogy a többletenergiát használják bitcoin-bányászatra.

A Lukasenko-rezsim ellen tiltakozók megtanulták a leckét: ha nagy tömegeket alkotva gyűlnek össze főtereken, könnyű célpontot jelentenek a biztonsági szerveknek.
A tüntetések szervezése az internetre költözött, hogy kisebb akciókkal fejezzék ki szolidaritásukat és elköteleződésüket a népi ellenállás mellett. Az erőszakszervezetek pedig (egyelőre) nem tudnak hatékonyan fellépni a tüntetőkkel szemben, ha nem is tudják, hol bukkannak éppen fel. Négy hónapja nem telt el vasárnap az országban politikai fejlemény nélkül.
Mindenhol lobog a piros-fehér zászló. Vasárnap, a tüntetetések 127. napján a megszokott tömeges tüntetések helyett új taktikára váltottak a belarusz tiltakozók: kisebb és szétszórt akciókkal nyilvánítanak véleményt, biztosítva támogatásukról a hatóságok által meghurcoltakat. Az ilyen akciókat a közösségi hálókon, Telegram-csatornákon szervezik, az eseményekről készült felvételeket pedig ugyanott, illetve ellenzéki forrásokon osztják meg, egyfajta internetes ellenállást hozva létre.
Belarusz híroldalak szerint ma több tucat apróbb megmozdulást tartottak országszerte. Kétfajta tiltakozásról számoltak be hírforrások:
Emberek kis csoportjai tűnnek fel a városok különböző pontjain. Például lakóépületek udvarán énekelnek, táncolnak, vagy egy rövid videófelvétel erejéig összegyűlnek, jelezve a többieknek a támogatásukat.
Mindegyik akcióban közös az ellenzék jelképévé vált piros-fehér lobogó. Ezzel fejezik ki, hogy ugyanazon célért küzdenek, nem félnek, sőt, vállalják, hogy a szinte már tiltott szimbólum birtoklásáért a hatóságok célpontjává válnak. A rendfenntartók ugyanis gyakran a zászló vagy annak színei alapján azonosítják be a tiltakozókat, és mindent megtesznek azért, hogy a hatalom elleni lázadásnak tekintett jelképet eltávolítsák, ahol csak tudják.
A lobogónak lélektani hatása van. Ahol feltűnik, jelzi, hogy az emberek elfordultak a rezsimtől, ahogy azt is, az ellenállás mindenhol jelen van. A mai napon kis csoportokban felvonulók egyebek közt az ellenállási mozgalom mottóját skandálták:
„Éljen Belarusz! Hiszünk, képesek vagyunk, győzünk!”
A vasárnapi megmozdulást is előre megszervezték, nem spontán találták ki. Ezzel is jelzik: attól még, hogy nem csoportosulnak nagy számban a város adott pontjain, az ellenállás él. Az akciókról készülő felvételeket pedig megosztják egymás között, ezzel is jelezve, nincsenek egyedül. Az internetes szervezkedés pedig lehetővé tette, hogy a külföldön élő belaruszok is ki tudják fejezni támogatásukat az ellenzéki mozgalomnak. A tut.by beszámolója szerint egyebek mellett Kijevből, Lvivből (Lembergből), Varsóból, az oroszországi Dzerzsinszkből, valamint Montenegróból üzentek az ott élő belaruszok. A kelet-lengyelországi Białystokból egészen rendhagyó módon.

Az Interfax-Zahid tudósítója szerint két embert őrizetbe vettek a Kamjana Hirka kerületben, a többi 20 tüntető elmenekült, miután meglátták a rendfenntartó erőket.

A Szabad Európa (RFE/RL) elítéli a belarusz kormány egyre erősödő támadásait a sajtószabadság ellen. A napokban a Szabad Európa belarusz szolgálata, a Svaboda Rádió hat munkatársát adminisztratív szabálysértésekre hivatkozva 8 és 15 napig terjedő börtönbüntetésekre ítélték.
Daisy Sindelar, a RFE/RL ügyvezető elnöke nyilatkozatot adott ki, amiért a belarusz vezetés egyre nehezebbé teszi a szervezet újságíróinak munkáját.
„A belarusz kormány a mi újságíróink mellett még számos riportert börtönzött be, akiket csak azért büntetnek meg, mert a munkájukat végezték, vagyis objektív módon tudósítottak a választások utáni eseményekről. Ezek az elítélendő lépések nem tántorítanak el minket, és továbbra is minden lehetséges eszközt megragadunk, hogy tájékoztassuk a belarusz embereket az országban történő jogsértésekről” – olvasható a Szabad Európa ügyvezető elnökének közleményében.
Az RFE/RL tudósítói 30 éve dolgoznak Belaruszban, Európa utolsó autokratikus államában, ez idő alatt sosem akadályozták annyira a munkájukat, mint az elmúlt 5 hónapban. A legutóbbi hullámban őrizetbe vett újságírók között van hat újságírója: Andrej Rabcsik, Andrej Sauluha, Ihar Karnej, Makszim Laureckij és Julija Kotszkaja és Aleh Hruzdzilovics.
Hármojukat, Rabcsikot, Sauluhát és Kotszkaját azzal az indokkal állították elő, hogy részt vettek a november 15-én megtartott, nem engedélyezett demonstráción. Valójában a rendőrség a hotelszobájukból hurcolta el őket, mielőtt tudósíthattak volna a minszki Puskinszkaja metróállomásnál zajló tüntetésről.
A november 15-i tudósítás alatt Karnejt is letartóztatták, csakúgy, mint 1200 másik embert Belarusz-szerte.
Laureckijt november 16-án, egy metróállomásról érkezve tartóztatták le, út közben a nyugdíjasok tüntetésére. Még azelőtt elfogták, hogy egyáltalán látta volna a felvonulás résztvevőit.
Pár nappal a letartóztatások előtt, november 12-én a belarusz bíróság Aleh Hruzdzilovicsot, a Szabad Európa veterán tudósítóját 15 nap börtönbüntetésre ítélte azért, mert „részt vett” az október 25-i utcai tüntetésen – valójában riporteri munkáját végezve tudósított az eseményről.
A szervezet újságíróinak október 2-a óta sajtóakkreditáció nélkül kell dolgozniuk, miután a belarusz külügyminiszter visszavonta minden külföldi médiumnak dolgozó újságíró engedélyét. Az új szabályozás miatt a mai napi egy nyugati médiának dolgozó belarusz állampolgárnak sem adtak akkreditációt.
Az RFE/RL közösségi médiával foglalkozó munkatársa, Ihar Loszik június 25-e óta van rács mögött. November 23-án lesz 150 napja, hogy jogszerű ítélet nélkül börtönben tartják. Loszik az ország egyik legismertebb bloggere, akit a hatóságok azzal vádolnak, hogy a választások előtt „a közrend megzavarására” használta népszerű Telegram-csatornáját. Felesége, Daria szerint Loszikot „szándékosan embertelen körülmények között” tartják fogva, az elmúlt 150 napban nem engedélyezték, hogy felesége, kislánya vagy szülei meglátogassák.
A kormány információs blokádja ellenére a belarusz szerkesztőség folytatja a független tudósítást, az országban zajló események gyors elemzését belarusz nyelven, az ottani közvélemény számára. A tudósításhoz felhasználják a Telegram, az Instagram, a Youtube oldalait, és a szigorú internetcenzúra megkerülése érdekében létrehoztak több tükrözött weboldalt és egy új híralkalmazást.
A Szabad Európa helyi tudósítói segítségével közöl pontos híreket és információkat 23 országból, ahol korlátozzák a médiaszabadságot, vagy még kevés hivatásos újságíró dolgozik. A hírszolgáltatást 41 millió ember követi 27 nyelven, a videóit a Facebookon, a YouTube-on, az Instagram/IGTV-n az elmúlt 12 hónapban 6,5 milliárd alkalommal tekintették meg a felhasználók. A RFE/RL független szerkesztőségeit az Egyesült Államok Kongresszusa által létrehozott alapból a U.S. Agency for Global Media finanszírozza. A szervezet része a 2020. szeptember 8-án újraindult, multimédiás weboldalt készítő és ezt a cikket jegyző magyar szerkesztőség is.
