A Gázai övezetet uraló iszlamista Hamász terrorszervezet valóságos rakétaesőt zúdított több hullámban Tel-Avivra és Izrael központi részére kedd este.
A vaskupola légvédelmi rendszer ellenrakétái befogták a rakéták túlnyomó többségét, számos robbanást lehetett hallani a térségben, de a Tel-Avivtól délre található Holonban füstöt észleltek valószínűleg egy lövedék becsapódása nyomán – jelentette a Jediót Ahronót című újság hírportálja, a ynet. A 12-es kereskedelmi TV portálja szerint súlyos sebesülés is történt Holonban, ahol kigyulladt egy autóbusz, és egy halálos áldozatról is érkezett hír.
A Hamász bejelentette, hogy 130 rakétát indítottak Tel-Aviv felé, a The Times of Israel című angol nyelvű hírportál szerint hat ember sérült meg, köztük egy ötéves kislány. Ideiglenesen leállították a tel-avivi Ben Gurion repülőtér forgalmát, egy oda tartó járat visszafordult a ciprusi reptérre. Az ország középső részén is az óvóhelyek közelében kell tartózkodni a lakosoknak.
Kedd este hírügynökségi jelentések szerint a Gázai övezetben összedőlt egy 13 emeletes lakóépület egy izraeli légi csapás következtében, hárman megsebesültek. A toronyházban működött a Hamász politikai vezetésének egy irodája is. Röviddel a légi csapás után a Hamász és az Iszlám Dzsihád közölte: válaszul Tel-Aviv irányába fognak rakétákat kilőni.

Az izraeli hadsereg a Twitteren közölte, hogy a többi között egy rakétákat gyártó üzemet, föld alatti létesítményeket és egy katonai támaszpontot támadtak.
A légi csapásokat megelőzően az övezetből rakétákat lőttek ki Izrael déli részeire.
Miközben világszerte a családok a karácsonyfák körül ülnek, Izrael déli részén a családok légvédelmi óvóhelyekre igyekeznek – áll a közleményben, amely szerint két rakétát a Vaskupola légvédelmi rendszer megsemmisített.
A Hamász fogja viselni a Gázai övezetből kiinduló terror következményeit – olvasható a hadsereg mikroblogján megjelent üzenet végén.
Izrael és a Hamász között három hadművelet és számos kisebb összecsapás zajlott a Hamász 2007-es gázai erőszakos hatalomátvétele óta.
Egyiptom közvetítésével Izrael tűzszünetet kötött a gázai iszlamista szervezettel, amely megígérte az Izrael elleni támadások felfüggesztését cserébe a Katar biztosította pénzsegélyekért.
A Gázai övezetben több palesztin fegyveres csoport működik, de Izrael a terület felett uralmat gyakorló Hamászt tekinti felelősnek minden onnan indított offenzíváért, és általában katonai célpontok elleni légi csapásokkal válaszol a Gázából kilőtt rakétákra.

Az Izraeli Hadsereg újabb csapást mért péntek hajnalban a Hamász terrorszervezet gázai állásaira
Izrael az elmúlt héten már több éjszakai támadást hajtott végre a Gázai övezetet irányító iszlamista szervezet állásai ellen, válaszul a palesztin tengerparti övezetből gyújtóléggömbökkel végrehajtott támadásokra, amelyek közül néhány tüzeket okozott Izrael déli területein.
A csütörtökön napközben folytatódó léggömbös támadásokra válaszul ezúttal harci repülőgépek, katonai helikopterek és harckocsik lőtték a Hamász gázai övezeti állásait, köztük légvédelmi rendszereket, föld alatti létesítményeket és megfigyelőpontokat – idézte az MTI az izraeli hadsereg közleményét.
A csapások néhány órával azután indultak meg, hogy Washingtonban bejelentették Izrael és az Egyesült Arab Emírségek amerikai közvetítéssel megszületett békemegállapodását, amit Donald Trump elnök és Benjámin Netanjahu izraeli miniszterelnök történelmi jelentőségűnek minősített, a Palesztin Hatóság elnöke, Mahmúd Abbász és a Hamász vezetése azonban egyaránt elutasított.
Az elmúlt években már többször használt gyújtószerkezetek felbocsátása a múlt héten kezdődött. Az eszközök becsapódásakor általában tűz keletkezik mezőgazdasági területeken, elpusztul a termés. Halálos áldozatokról egyelőre nem érkeztek jelentések. A palesztin terrorakciók miatti megtorlásul Izrael kedden határozatlan időre lezárta a gázai áruforgalmi átkelőhelyet Kerem Salomnál.
Izrael 1967-ben foglalta el Egyiptomtól a Gázai övezetet, de 2005-ben kivonult onnan, a terület azonban teljesen izolálta. Az utolsó nagyobb konfliktus a térséget irányító Hamásszal 2014-ben volt. Az azt követően egyiptomi közvetítéssel létrejött tűzszüneti megállapodás ellenére az erőszak rendszeresen fellángol Izrael és a Hamász között.

Az izraeli légierő vasárnap este csapást mért a Gázai övezetet irányító radikális iszlamista Hamász célpontjaira, válaszul a palesztin területről korábban kilőtt rakétákra.
„Válaszul az este folyamán Izraelre kilőtt három rakétára légierőnk a Hamász földalatti terrorinfrastruktúrájára mért csapást Gázában” – olvasható az izraeli hadsereg Twitter-bejegyzésében. Hozzátették, hogy a Hamászt tartják felelősnek a rakéták kilövéséért.
Vasárnap légiriadó szirénák hangját lehetett hallani a Gázai övezet határában lévő izraeli településeken. A hadsereg szerint két rakétát sötétedés előtt lőttek ki, egy harmadikat pedig sötétedés után, az utóbbit az izraeli légvédelem megsemmisítette. Két rakéta viszont lakatlan területen csapódott be – közölte az izraeli tizenkettes televíziós csatorna.
Egyelőre sem a Gázai övezetből, sem Izraelből nem jelentettek áldozatokat.
