Becslések szerint mintegy kétezer ember követelte Aljakszandr Lukasenko fehérorosz elnök lemondását. A többségében nőkből álló demonstrálók útját elállták a rendőrök, akik aztán egyesével emeltek ki embereket a tömegből. Szemtanúk szerint egy eszméletlenül heverő nőt mentővel vittek el a tüntetés helyszínéről.
Fehéroroszországban folyamatosak a megmozdulások az augusztus 9-ei elnökválasztás óta, amin Lukasenko a hivatalos eredmények szerint a voksok mintegy 80 százalékával megszerezte hatodik mandátumát. Az ellenzék szerint az országot 1994 óta irányító elnök elcsalta a választást. A hatóságok kezdetben könyörtelen brutalitással igyekeztek elfojtani a tüntetéseket. Több tiltakozó meghalt, sokan kínzásokról számoltak be a fogva tartás során és vannak, akik azóta sem kerültek elő, hogy őrizetbe vették őket.
A fehérorosz belügyekbe való beavatkozásnak tekinti a minszki külügyminisztérium azt, hogy Brüsszelbe várják a jövő héten Szvjatlana Cihanouszkaja fehérorosz ellenzéki vezetőt az uniós külügyminiszterek tanácskozására – jelentette szombaton a Belta fehérorosz állami hírügynökség.

A fehéroroszországi Szmaljavicsi város egyik rendőrőrse előtt pénteken felgyújtotta magát egy férfi. A férfit súlyos égési sérülésekkel kórházba szállították – jelentette be a fehérorosz belügyminisztérium.
A minisztérium által közzétett felvételen látható volt, hogy az egyik rendőr poroltóval próbálta eloltani a fájdalomtól földön fetrengő, lángoló férfit.
A hatóságok szerint a férfi mentális problémákkal küszködött. A fehérorosz nyomozó bizottság időközben közölte: a 36 éves férfi pszichiátriai kezelés alatt állt, és öngyilkos hajlamai vannak. Már korábban is megpróbált önkezűleg véget vetni életének, de ezt sikerült megakadályozni. A hatóságok hozzátették, hogy a férfit már ismerték, mert részeges volt.
A TASZSZ ugyanakkor az Onliner független hírportálra hivatkozva arról számolt be, hogy úgy tűnt, mintha a férfi a hatósági erőszak ellen akart volna ilyen módon tiltakozni. Az orosz hírügynökség mindemellett megjegyzi, hogy a férfi nem hangoztatott semmit, amiből következtetni lehetett volna tettének indítékára, amit így továbbra is homály fed.
A történtek helyszínét lezárták, a nyomozó bizottság emberei vizsgálatot indítottak.

Minszkben vádat emeltek Marija Kolesznyikova ellen – tudósított az RBC gazdasági lap, a Ria Novosztyi és a TASSZ. A vád a nemzetbiztonság megsértése és nyilvános felhívás puccsra.
Kolesznyikova volt a fehérorosz ellenzéki Koordinációs Tanács utolsó tagja, aki még szabadon mozoghatott. Korábban Minszk belvárosában elrabolták és megpróbálták kitoloncolni Ukrajnába, de eltépte az útlevelét, és nem volt hajlandó elhagyni a hazáját. Ezek után eltűnt, majd egy ellenzéki nyomozócsoport kiderítette, hogy előzetes letartóztatásban van Minszkben.
A nemzetbiztonságot veszélyeztető felszólalás önmagában kettőtől öt évig büntethető a belorusz törvények szerint. A másik vádpont az ügyvédek szerint nem bizonyítható.
Kolesznyikova beszédei fellelhetők a világhálón, közösségi oldalakon. Minden beszédében hangsúlyozta a törvényes, erőszakmentes tiltakozást. Nem kívánta törvényellenesen megdönteni az államhatalmat, éppen ellenkezőleg, elindult a törvényes választásokon és felszólalt a választási csalások ellen.

A tömeg az államfő lakóhelyéül is szolgáló, zárt és szigorúan őrzött negyedbe akart bejutni.
A Függetlenség terét biztonságiak fogták közre és fémrácsokkal kerítették el. Az aluljárókat is lezárták. A város központjában található Köztársasági Palota épületénél rendőrségi alakultok vonultak fel.
Lukasenka hétfőn Moszkvába utazik, ahol az orosz elnökkel, Vlagyimir Putyinnal tárgyal majd. A belarusz államfőnek ez lesz az első külföldi látogatása az elnökválasztás óta. Moszkvai közlés szerint munkalátogatás lesz, amelyen a kétoldalú kapcsolatok erősítése, és az energiaszektor is téma lesz.

A TASZSZ orosz hírügynökség helyszíni beszámolója szerint a fehérorosz rendőrség különleges alakulata (OMON) elkezdte őrizetbe venni a téren tüntető férfiakat, akiket fogolyszállító autóbuszokhoz kísérnek. A sajtó helyszínen lévő munkatársait a tér peremére terelték. Az előző nappal ellentétben most nem állítottak elő újságírókat.
Az élőláncot alkotó nőket a biztonságiak közrefogták, de egyelőre nem háborgatják őket. A rendvédelmi szervek megjelenésekor a nők énekelni kezdtek. Nem sokkal korábban mintegy ötvenen úgynevezett szolidaritási láncot alkottak. Egyesek kezében virág volt, egy nő pedig a tiltakozások szimbólumává vált, 1995 előtti fehér és piros fehérorosz zászlót lengetett. A fehérorosz sajtó szerint hasonló megmozdulások voltak Minszk több lakónegyedében is.
A fehérorosz jogvédő szervezetek pénteken közös nyilatkozatban követelték a politikai foglyok és a békés tüntetéseken őrizetbe vett emberek szabadon engedését – közölte a Vjaszna-96 (Tavasz-96) nevű jogvédő szervezet által működtetett hírportál.
Fehéroroszországban huszadik napja ellenzéki tüntetések zajlanak az elnökválasztás óta, amelyen Lukasenka megszerezte sorban a hatodik államfői mandátumát. Lukasenka szerint ezeket a tüntetéseket országában külföldről irányítják, az ellenzék ezt tagadja. A belbiztonsági erők tüntetők elleni brutális fellépésének eddig legalább három halálos áldozata volt, és a hatóságok ezreket vettek őrizetbe, hogy megtörjék a Lukasenka rendszerével szemben kibontakozott békés ellenállást.

A legmagasabb harckészültségbe helyezik a fehérorosz hadsereg egyes egységeit, tartalékosokat is behívnak a hadrafoghatósági ellenőrzés harmadik, hétfőn kezdődött szakaszában – közölte a fehérorosz védelmi minisztérium.
A tárca hétfő esti közleménye szerint az ellenőrzés során értékelni fogják, hogy a katonai alakulatok képesek-e és készek-e reagálni dinamikusan változó helyzetre éjjel-nappal. A hadrafoghatósági ellenőrzés taktikai hadgyakorlattal ér véget.
Anatolij Bulavko, a fehérorosz hadsereg légierejének és légvédelmének ideológiai kérdésekkel foglalkozó helyettes parancsnoka hétfőn az SzTV fehérorosz tévének nyilatkozva azt mondta, hogya szomszédos országokban több mint megkétszereződött a felderítő légierő tevékenysége, ami gyanakvásra ad okot.
A védelmi minisztérium múlt pénteken közölte, hogy a hadsereg augusztus 28-31. között hadgyakorlatot tart a lengyel határnál. A nyugati hadműveleti parancsnokság irányítása alatt tartandó „komplex taktikai hadgyakorlatban” deszantos, gépesített lövész-, harckocsis és tüzérségi egységek vesznek reszt, illetve drónokat is bevetnek. A hadgyakorlatot a Lengyelországgal határos Breszt megye egyik gyakorlóterén tartják meg, és a többi között határ- és légtérvédelmi feladatokat fognak végrehajtani a részt vevő katonai egységek.
Aljakszandr Lukasenka fehérorosz elnök ezt megelőzően bejelentette, hogy Fehéroroszország katonai egységeket vezényelt a nyugati határra válaszul a külföldi kormányok fehérorosz belpolitikai helyzettel kapcsolatos nyilatkozataira. Lukasenka arra utasította védelmi miniszterét, hogy kövesse figyelemmel a NATO-csapatmozgásokat Litvániában és Lengyelországban. Mint mondta,az ország nyugati határai mentén feszültségkeltés folyik, a nyugati országok növelik katonai erejüket a régióban.
A NATO vasárnap alaptalannak nevezte Lukasenka állításait, és Litvánia is cáfolta az elmondottakat. Andrzej Duda lengyel köztársasági elnök egyik tanácsadója szintén a Lukasenka-rendszer propagandájának nevezte azt a felvetést, hogy Lengyelország Fehéroroszország határainak destabilizálására törekszik.
Megfigyelők szerint a fehérorosz vezető kijátssza a „katonai kártyát”, hogyelterelje a figyelmet arról a súlyos belpolitikai válságról, amely az augusztus 9-i elnökválasztás után alakult ki.
Fehéroroszországban tüntetések zajlanak az elnökválasztás óta, amelyen Lukasenka megszerezte sorban a hatodik államfői mandátumát. Az egykori téeszelnök a hivatalos adatok szerint a szavaztok 80 százalékával győzött az elnökválasztáson. Az ellenzék szerint a minszki vezetés elcsalta a választást, és a nyugati országok sem ismerik el a voksoláson született eredményt. A hivatalban lévő elnök szerint a tüntetéseket országában külföldről irányítják, az ellenzék cáfolja ezt.

A litván külügyminisztérium szerdán szankciós listára helyezte Aljakszandr Lukasenka fehérorosz elnököt – írja az MTI az LRT közszolgálati rádió műsorában szereplő Linas Linkevicius tárcavezető alapján.
A tájékoztatás szerint az augusztus 9-i elnökválasztás meghamisításáért és a tüntetőkkel szembeni hatósági erőszak alkalmazásáért beutazási tilalom alá helyezendő fehérorosz tisztségviselők lajstromát a diplomáciai tárca átadta a belügyminisztériumnak.
„Ezen a listán, amelyet nem fogok teljességgel ismertetni, 32 név szerepel, köztük Aljakszandr Lukasenka” – mondta Linkevicius.
A litván hatóságok szerint széles körben kell célzott szankciókat alkalmazni a választási visszaélések és a tüntetőkkel szembeni aránytalan hatósági erőszak alkalmazása miatt.
Marija Zaharova orosz külügyi szóvivő a Facebook-oldalán reagált a Lukasenka és a fehérorosz tisztségviselők elleni litván szankciókra. Hangsúlyozta, hogy ezek a büntetőintézkedések bizonyítják a nyugati országok beavatkozását Fehéroroszország belügyeibe.
„Bravó! Minszk ezzel bombabiztos érvhez jutott, amely alátámasztja, hogy a Nyugatnak köze van a Fehéroroszország belügyeibe való beavatkozáshoz” – írta Zaharova.
A fehéroroszországi tüntetések augusztus 9. óta tartanak, amikor Aljakszandr Lukasenka megszerezte sorban a hatodik államfői mandátumát. Az ellenzék szerint a minszki vezetés elcsalta a választást. A szavazatok újraszámlálásának követelésére ezrek vonultak az utcára országszerte. A megmozdulások annak ellenére folytatódtak, hogy a rendőrség brutálisan reagált. A választásokat követő négy napban mintegy hétezer embert vettek őrizetbe, könnygáz- és hanggránátokkat, valamint gumilövedékeket vetettek be. A tüntetések során hárman életüket vesztették.

Szürke, jelöletlen teherautókból álló konvoj indult meg Oroszországból Belarusz felé – írta a Telegram üzenetküldő csatornán szemtanúk felvételei alapján a Conflict Intelligence Team.
A szürke Kamazok pontosan úgy néznek ki, mint a belügyi biztonsági erőkkel operáló Roszgvargyija állományában lévő járművek.
A határhoz közeledő gépek megjelenése azt sejteti, hogy Vlagyimir Putyin valóban arra készül, hogy a belarusz elnökkel folytatott megbeszélésnek megfelelően segítséget nyújt Alekszandr Lukasenko hatalmának fenntartásához. (Igaz, egyelőre nincsen szó arról, hogy a határt is átlépték volna az orosz járművek.) Egyelőre nem állítható bizonyossággal, hogy Moszkva elszánta magát Lukasenko fegyveres megsegítésére. Kapcsolata Lukasenkóval Putyinnak nem volt felhőtlen – az anyagi támogatásról rendszeresen vitázott Minszk Moszkvával –, és nem kizárt, hogy a Kreml Lukasenko utódjában is gondolkodik.
Ha mégis átlépnek Belarusz területére az orosz elnök karhatalmistái, az kiszámíthatatlan fordulatot jelenthet a 9,5 milliós országban, ahol az országot 26 éve irányító elnök egyelőre vesztésre áll az egyre erősödő tiltakozásokkal szemben, amelyek azok után indultak meg, hogy augusztus 9-i elnökválasztás után Lukasenkót immár hatodik alkalommal, 80 százalék feletti támogatottsággal hozta ki győztesnek a Központi Választási Bizottság.
Az elnök eleinte a vitatható választási győzelmei után szokásos tiltakozásra számított, ez azonban nemcsak az egykori szovjet köztársaság 29 éves önállóságának legkeményebb tüntetéssorozata lett, de minden eddiginél jobban megingatta a sajátos szovjetnosztalgiára építő – a politikai szabadságjogok megnyirbálásáért cserébe sokáig szociális biztonságot ígérő – rezsim vezetőjének székét.
Az eddig két halálos áldozattal járó, országos tüntetéseknek nincsen vezetőjük – miután az ellenzék fő jelöltjét, Szvetlana Tyihanovszkaját a szomszédos Litvániáig szállították a belarusz titkosszolgálat emberei –, a központi helyszínt is mellőzik, így néhány nap után kiderült, hogy a rendőrségnek és speciális egységeiknek nincs elég kapacitásuk arra, hogy a tüntetéseket erővel szétzavarják. Azóta a karhatalom inkább visszavonult, teret engedett a tüntetéseknek – amelyek sokkal nagyobbak, mint amilyet Lukasenko a maga oldalán a hétvégén össze tudott hozni.
Az igazi fordulatot az hozta meg, hogy a szűnni nem akaró, a rendőrök kemény fellépése, a csaknem hétezer őrizetbe vett ellenére folytatódó tüntetések mellett sztrájk is kezdődött. A legnagyobb fémipari és gépipari gyárak után hétfőn már az állami tévé is sztrájkba kezdett.
Ezután az újságírók az állami televízió épülete előtt kezdtek tüntetésbe, amelyen Szvetlana Tyihanovszkaja képviselője is megjelent.
Az évtizedeken át a kormány szócsöveként működtetett televízióban csak üres stúdió látszik és popzene hallható. Néha pedig megjelenik a fehér-piros-fehér zászló, amely 1991 és 1994 között volt érvényben, amíg Lukasenko hatalomra jutása után ne változtatta vissza a volt szovjet tagköztársaság zászlajára – mellőzve a sarlót és a kalapácsot.

Minszkben tüntető tömeg gyűlt össze, hogy biztosítsa támogatásáról a fehérorosz elnököt, s ezzel egy időben utcára vonultak az államfő távozását követelők is.
Fehéroroszországban egy hete tartottak elnökválasztást, amelyet a hivatalos eredmény szerint az addigi elnök, Olekszandr Lukasenko nyert, elsöprő fölénnyel. Az ellenzék viszont elcsalt választásról beszél, az ország legtöbb nagyvárosában hetedik napja folyamatosak az összecsapások a tiltakozók és a rendőrség között.
Az állami televízió épülete előtt ellenzéki demonstrálók gyűltek össze, és azt követelték, hogy a média hiteles tájékoztatást adjon a tüntetésekről, illetve azok erőszakkal történő leveréséről, a tiltakozókkal szemben alkalmazott megtorló intézkedésekről.
Az elnök vasárnap közölte, nem hajlandó külföldi parancsra új választást kiírni, de kész azonnali reformokra, ha valóban ez az, amit az emberek várnak tőle. Vlagyimir Putyin orosz elnökkel telefonon egyeztetett, aki támogatásáról biztosította.
