A helyszínre kiérkezett a tűzoltóság, akiknek sikerült eloltani a lángokat, s megakadályozni, hogy azok átterjedjenek a lakóházra.
A tűz kitörésének okát még vizsgálják – közölte a Rendkívüli Helyzetek Állami Szolgálatának kárpátaljai kirendeltsége.

Óriási tűz ütött ki az iráni fővárosban található Gandhi kórház egyik épületében, a lángok az épület egész külső homlokzatát elborították, az incidensben senki sem sérült meg súlyosan – jelentette csütörtökön az IRNA iráni állami hírügynökség a helyi katasztrófavédelem beszámolóját idézve.
A teheráni tűzoltóság szóvivője elmondta, hogy a tűz helyi idő szerint este 7 órakor kezdődött, és a helyszínre azonnal komoly erőket vezényeltek ki. A tűz lehetséges okairól és áldozatokról egyelőre nem esett szó.

Öt gyermek életét követelte egy lakástűz az indianai South Bend városában még vasárnap este. A tűzoltóság sajtóközleményében tudatta, hogy amikor a hatóságok kiérkeztek a házhoz, a lángok már felemésztették az épület első és második emeletét – írja a People.
A hivatalos Facebook-oldalukon megosztott közleményben leírják, hogy a körülmények ellenére a tűzoltók az első emeleten a tűz nagy részét megfékezték, és elérték a második emeletet. Összesen hat embert mentettek ki az égő épületből.
„Tragikus módon a hat kimentett személy közül öt személy életét vesztette”– áll a South Bend-i tűzoltóság közleményében. „Az egyik túlélőt sürgősen egy közeli kórházba szállították, majd később légi úton egy Indianapolisban található speciális központba szállították további kezelésre.”
A helyi tűzoltóparancsnok, Carl Buchanon tájékoztatott, hogy az áldozatok életkora 17 hónapostól 11 évesig terjedt, a 11 éves gyermeket szállították kórházba, állapota egyelőre ismeretlen.
A helyszínen egy felnőtt is jelen volt. Buchanon elmondta, hogy a felnőtt ki tudott menekülni az épületből, de csak azután, hogy bátor kísérletet tett a gyerekek kimentésére, de a nagy füst miatt nem tudott mit tenni.
Az osztály azt is közölte, hogy az egyik tűzoltójuk a második emeletről az első emeletre zuhant. Őt egy helyi kórházba szállították, és jelenleg lábadozik.
A tűz okát egyelőre nem közölte a rendőrség, a vizsgálat jelenleg is zajlik.

A tűz helyi idő szerint hétfőn késő este ütött ki Szocsonban, de a tűzoltóknak csak kedd reggelre sikerült megfékezniük a lángokat. Az oltási munkálatokban 45 tűzoltóautó segítségével 361 tűzoltó vett részt.

A vasárnap este tragédiával végződött a megyeszékhelyen. A Tyimirjazeva utcában egy tömbház lakói hívták a tűzoltókat, és jelentettek egy lehetséges tüzet.

„Az összes kép elégett” – mondta Szakanija.
A nyilvánosságra hozott fotókon az látszott, hogy a városközpontban lévő épület lángokban áll. A megsemmisült művek között abház és külföldi művészek festményei is voltak. Többek között a külföldön is ismert abház művész, Alekszandr Csacsba-Szarvasidze (1867–1969) mintegy háromszáz festménye is megsemmisült.
Abházia régiója a nemzetközi jog szerint Grúziához tartozik, de régóta bizonyos fokú autonómiával rendelkezik. Jelenleg egy önjelölt független kormány irányítja, amelyet hivatalosan csak Oroszország és néhány más ország ismer el.
A festői tájairól ismert, saját nyelvvel és kultúrával rendelkező régió a Szovjetunió összeomlása után szakadt el Grúziától.
Az Oroszország és Grúzia között a dél-oszétiai szakadár régió miatt 2008 augusztusában kitört háború óta Moszkva mindkét területen katonákat állomásoztat.
