A svájci hatóságok vasárnap közölték, hogy a Svájc és Franciaország határán fekvő Matterhorn, illetve a Tete Blanche környékén hat eltűnt síelőt keresnek, akiknek szombaton veszett nyomuk sítúra közben Zermatt és Arolla között. Közülük öten egyazon, Valais kantonban élő család 21 év és 58 év közötti tagjai, míg hatodik társuk Fribourg kantonból származik.
Az eltűntek utáni kutatást rossz időjárási körülmények nehezítették.
Zermatt népszerű hegyi üdülőhely, amely a világ minden tájáról vonzza a síelni vágyó turistákat.

Két síelő vesztette életét lavinában a francia Alpokban, a Mont Blanc egyik lejtőjén, egy társuk megsérült.
Az elsodort emberek a kijelölt pályán kívül síeltek csütörtökön Saint-Gervais-les-Bains üdülőhelyen, mintegy 2300 méteres magasságban, amikor a szerencsétlenség történt – közölte Haute-Savoie megye önkormányzata.
A nagy erőkkel kivonuló mentők egy férfit és egy nőt holtak találtak, egy harmadik síelő sérülésekkel megúszta a lavinát, további öt embert épségben mentettek ki.
Saint-Gervais polgármestere szerint a labilis időjárás „nem volt alkalmas” a kockázatos elkalandozásra a kijelölt pályákról, meleg volt, hol eső, hol hó esett.
Az Écrins-hegységben a mélybe zuhant és életét vesztette egy 31 éves túrázó, aki ugyancsak letért a kijelölt túraútvonalról, hogy közelebbről megnézzen havasi kecskéket.

Emberi maradványokra bukkantak az olvadó osztrák Alpokban. A férfi feltehetően 22 évvel ezelőtt vesztette életét egy gleccseren történt balesetben.
A rendőrség közölte, hogy egy hegyi vezető fedezte fel a holttestet Schlatenkees-gleccseren a kelet-tiroli Hohe Tauern Nemzeti Parkban. A maradványokat körülbelül 2900 méteres magasságban találták meg, és nyilvánvalóan már jó ideje ott voltak – tette hozzá a rendőrség.
A mentők helikopter segítségével emelték ki a maradványokat. Néhány méterrel a maradványok alatt a mentők egy hátizsákot is találtak, amelyben készpénz, bankkártya és jogosítvány volt. A rendőrség szerint a helyszínen egy 37 éves osztrák férfi szenvedett balesetet feltehetően 2001-ben. A férfinél sífutófelszerelés is volt.
A férfi személyazonosságának megerősítésére DNS-összehasonlítást végeznek.
A Schlatenkees-gleccseren korábban már volt egy hasonló lelet. A 2011-ben ott talált csontokról úgy vélték, hogy egy 1957 óta eltűnt helyi férfi csontjai.
Mivel a globális felmelegedés miatt a gleccserek egyre inkább olvadnak és visszahúzódnak, egyre több évtizeddel ezelőtt eltűnt túrázók, síelők és más emberek maradványait fedezik fel – számolt be az Origo a Sky News-ra hivatkozva.

A francia Alpokban hárman, az olasz Alpokban ketten vesztették életüket hegyi balesetekben a hétvégén.
A franciaországi Grenoble térségében két 30 év körüli férfi zuhant le hegymászás közben a négyezer méter magas Dome de Neige des Écrins hegycsúcs közelében, holttestüket egy túrázó találta meg szombat reggel egy kis völgyben. E helytől kissé nyugatabbra egy ugyancsak harmincas éveiben járó férfit, egy bázisugrót találtak holtan, a sportoló egy sziklának csapódott.
A határ túloldalán, az olaszországi Piemonte tartományban két francia hegymászó halt meg, holttestüket egy vízmosás mélyén találták meg. A férfiak a 3841 méteres Monviso-csúcsra, a Cotti-Alpok legmagasabb hegyére vezető Berhault-gerinc megmászására indultak vasárnap.
A hozzátartozók késő délután jelentették eltűnésüket, de a rossz idő miatt a mentők csak este tudtak a keresésükre indulni. A Kőkirályként is emlegetett, a környező csúcsoknál legalább 500 méterrel magasabb és ezért messziről is jól látható Monviso a legdélibb az Alpok 3500 méternél magasabb hegycsúcsai közül – írta az MTI.

Az annecy-i székhelyű prefektúra közlése szerint a gleccserből nagyobb jégdarabok váltak le. Egy harmadik személy könnyebben megsérült a szerencsétlenségben, négy másik ember sértetlenül átvészelte a történteket.
Évente több tucat eltűnés és halálos kimenetelű baleset történik a népszerű trekking útvonalakon.
A France Info közszolgálati televízió szerint a két áldozatot betemette a jégtörmelék. A túrázók az Alpok legmagasabb hegyét, a Mont Blanc-t akarták megmászni.

Hozzátette, hogy a magyar külképviseletek folyamatosan kapcsolatban vannak az olasz hatóságokkal, akik korábban felhívták a figyelmet egy üresen álló magyar autóra, amely a katasztrófa helyszínéhez közel parkolt. Kiderült azonban, hogy a sofőr és utasai is jól vannak. A vasárnapi jégcsuszamlásnak eddig hét halálos áldozata van. Nyolcan megsérültek, tizenhárom embert még keresnek – hangzott el az M1 Híradó műsorában.
A gleccseromlás pillanatát a szomszédos hegyen kirándulók lencsevégre kapták. Az amatőr felvételen látszik, ahogy az olasz Alpok legmagasabb hegycsoportjának, a Marmoládának az északi oldalán leszakad egy hatalmas jégdarab, és mintegy 300 kilométer/órás sebességgel megindul lefelé, az alatta húzódó turistaút irányába. A jégomlás fél kilométeren át mindent letarolt, ami az útjába került.
Egy másik felvételen azt örökítették meg, ahogy a jég és kőlavina betemeti a hegyre felvezető turistaösvényt. A tragédia napján, vasárnap kiváló kirándulóidő volt a Dolomitokban, a hegy alatti parkoló tele volt autókkal, a gleccserre vezető turistaúton száznál is többen lehettek, amikor leszakadt a hegy.
Az olasz hegyimentők helikopterekkel, drónokkal és kutyás keresőkkel érkeztek a helyszínre, és azonnal megkezdték a túlélők utáni keresést.
„A hegyimentő szolgálat fél kettőkor értesített bennünket arról, hogy leomlott a gleccser. Valójában a Marmolada csúcsa omlott le, ami egy óriási gleccseroszlop volt. Az omlás elsodort minden mászót, aki akkor a gleccseren tartózkodott. Amikor odaértünk, elképesztő pusztítás nyomait láttuk a hegyen, jégtömbök és hatalmas szikladarabok voltak mindenütt. Azonnal elkezdtük keresni a túlélőket. Az első áldozatokat még azelőtt megtaláltuk, hogy a többi mentő megérkezett volna” – mondta az egyik hegyimentő.
Hét halottat és tizenhárom sérültet találtak a Marmoladára felvezető úton, de tizenhárom emberről még mindig nem tudnak semmit.
Az olasz hatóságokat eddig három csehországi család értesítette, hogy nem kaptak hírt a környéken kiránduló rokonaikról. A hegy alatti parkolóban már csak négy gazdátlan autó maradt: két cseh, egy német és egy magyar rendszámú jármű. Azt egyelőre nem tudják, hogy a tulajdonosaik is az eltűntek között vannak-e. Az olasz hatóságok korábban már felhívták a figyelmet az üresen álló magyar autóra, amely a katasztrófa helyszínéhez közel parkolt. Azóta kiderült, hogy a sofőr és utasai is jól vannak.

„Azért jöttem személyesen Canazeibe, hogy jobban megértsem, mi vezetett ehhez a tragédiához. Találkoztam a mentést irányítókkal is, és áttekintettük a további teendőket. De legfőképpen azért vagyok itt, hogy kifejezzem a legőszintébb együttérzésemet az elhunytak, az eltűntek és sérültek családjai felé” – mondta az olasz kormányfő, hozzátéve, hogy a katasztrófa oka egyértelműen a romló környezeti és éghajlati helyzet lehet. A több mint 3300 méter magas hegycsúcson mintegy plusz tíz fokot mértek vasárnap, ami rendkívül melegnek számít.

Legalább hatan vesztették életüket vasárnap az észak-olaszországi Dolomitok legmagasabb hegycsoportjának, a Marmoladának lejtőin egy jégcsuszamlás következtében.
A helyi mentők szerint tucatnyi embert temetett be a hó, de további eltűntek után is kutatnak. Eddig nyolc embert sikerült élve kimenteni. A jégtábla Punta Rocca közelébe tört le a Marmolada csúcsához vezető útvonal mentén.
A mentőegységek emberek tucatjait evakuálták a térségből a völgybe. Egy súlyos sérültet mentőhelikopteren Treviso városának kórházába vittek, két másik sérültet Belluno klinikájára szállítottak. További öt sérültet is Trevisóba vittek.
A hatóságok lavinaveszélyre figyelmeztetnek a térségben, az alpesi mentőállomásokat Trento térségében készültségbe helyezték.
Öt mentőhelikoptert és mentőegységek tucatjait küldték a régióba. Nagy erőkkel és különleges felszerelés bevetésével folyik az eltűntek keresése.
Szombaton csúcshőmérsékletet, tíz Celsius-fokot mértek a Marmolada csúcsán.

Tehéntámadás történt szombaton az osztrák Alpokban. Az áldozatot mentőhelikopterrel kellett kórházba vinni.
A Kronen Zeitung szerint egy 66 éves cseh állampolgárt támadtak meg a tehenek, aki egy csoporttal együtt ment túrázni Zell am See környékén. A túraútvonalon több tehén is áthaladt, egyikük pedig legázolta a turistát.
Mindeközben a túracsoport 51 éves vezetője megpróbálta elkergetni a támadó tehenet, de ezáltal ő maga is kisebb sérüléseket szenvedett. A sérülteket mentőhelikopter vitte kórházba.
A legdurvább tehéntámadás 2014-ben volt, amikor egy tehéncsorda legázolt és megölt egy 45 éves német nőt Tirolban. Az után az eset után az osztrák hatóságok egy részletes, grafikákkal illusztrált magatartási kódexet készítettek arról, hogy miként kell viselkedni az állatokkal.
Bordát, csontot tör, néha halált okoz a békésnek hitt féltonnás állat, amikor támad. Ausztriában lépésre szánták el magukat a turisták védelmében.
A Kronen Zeitung szerint az utóbbi néhány napon több alkalommal is voltak kisebb tehéntámadások Ausztriában, ezeket részben az magyarázhatja, hogy a nyári hőség miatt az állatok nagyobb eséllyel vadulnak meg. A szakértők azt javasolják, hogy ha a túrázók tehenekkel találkoznak, akkor ne akarják megsimogatni vagy megetetni őket, ne közelítsenek hozzájuk, hanem szép nyugodtan kerüljék ki őket, vagy várják meg, amíg továbbállnak.
