Kijevben fiatalok csoportja támadt egy külföldi állampolgárra egy szupermarketben, könnygázt fújtak az arcába, de a huligánokat azonosították és szüleikkel együtt előállították a rendőrségre – számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál a kijevi rendőrség Facebook-oldalára hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint rendőrségi források elmondták, hogy a sértett az amerikai nagykövetség biztonsági szolgálatának egyik alkalmazottja. A kijevi rendőrség közölte, hogy tinédzserek csapata vette körbe a külföldit az egyik fővárosi szupermarketben, és egyikük könnygázt fújt az arcába.
A huligánokat 2 órán át keresték. Kiderült, hogy három helyi lakos – két 12 éves és egy 13 éves – volt az elkövető. A könnygázsprayt is lefoglalták náluk. A tizenéveseket a szüleikkel együtt előállították a rendőrségre, hogy tanúskodjanak.
A rendőrség nem részletezte a tinédzserek garázda cselekedeteinek okát. Ugyanakkor a fővárosi Telegram-csatornák pontosították, hogy a sértett afroamerikai származású.
„Az ügyben büntetőeljárás indult, az elkövetőkkel folyamatban vannak a szükséges eljárási cselekmények annak megállapítása érdekében, hogy a bűncselekmény összes körülményét feltárják” – közölte a rendőrség.

Két Molotov-bombát dobtak Firenzébe az amerikai konzulátus falához. A Hamász terrorista szervezethez közeli csoport vállalta magára az Amerikai Egyesült Államok firenzei konzulátusa elleni merényletet, aminek hírét az olasz hatóságok péntek este hozták nyilvánosságra rendkívüli terrorellenes készültséget rendelve el. Senki sem sérült meg, a konzulátus munkájában az eset nem okozott fennakadást.
A támadás csütörtökre virradóan történt, majd a RAI olasz közmédia firenzei székházába egy videóüzenet érkezett, amivel a „The whole world is Hamas” (Az egész világ Hamász) angol nevű mozgalom vállalta magára a merényletet.
A kétperces, arab nyelvű, olasz feliratozású videót az amerikai konzulátus előtt vették fel éjszaka. A felvételen végig a konzulátus épülete látszik, az alámondott szöveg szerint pedig „Isten segítségével megindul az első akció, amellyel halál vár a cionistákra Európában”. Az üzenet hangoztatja, hogy az amerikai konzulátus elleni támadás puszta figyelmeztetés volt, „de ha Európa és Olaszország továbbra is támogatja Izrael és az Egyesült Államok bűncselekményeit, elindítjuk az első igazi akciót, és tudjátok, hogy a célpontok több mint fele nem izraeli és nem amerikai lesz”. A videó szerint 49 célpontot érhet támadás.
Az üzenet konkrét fenyegetésként értékelendő, nem szabad alábecsülni – hangsúlyozta Filippo Spiezia firenzei államügyész. Hatósági források nem zárták ki, hogy „magányos farkasról” van szó, vagyis a merénylet és az üzenet mögött egyetlen személy áll. A videón hallható szöveg palesztinai arab nyelvű, ennek alapján igyekeznek azonosítani az elkövetőt.
A belügyminisztérium terrorkészültséget rendelt el, amely valójában már a Hamász október 7-i támadása óta érvényben van az országban. Több mint 28 ezer veszélyeztetett helyszínen, többek között az Egyesült Államok és Izrael olaszországi intézményeinek, képviseleteinek erősítették meg a védelmet.

Palesztin zászlókat lengető tüntetők jelentek meg az Egyesült Államok bejrúti nagykövetsége előtt kedd este, válaszul a gázai Al-Ahli Arabi Baptista Kórházat ért támadásra. Szerdára kiderült, hogy az Iszlám Dzsihád rakétája csapódott a kórházba. A demonstráció később erőszakossá vált.
Bejrút más részein is voltak tiltakozások: erőszakos támadók jelentek meg a francia nagykövetség, és az ENSZ épülete előtt is.

Rakéta-sorozatvetőkből lőtték csütörtökön az amerikai nagykövetséget Bagdadban, egy iraki gyermek és egy nő megsebesült – közölte az iraki hadsereg.
A közlemény nem említett sok részletet az esti támadással kapcsolatban, mindössze annyit tárt fel, hogy a rakéták egyike egy iskolába csapódott be. Azt sem tudni, hogy a nő és a gyermek az iskolában tartózkodott-e.
Az iraki hadsereg egy külön közleményben tudatta a Reuters globális hírügynökséggel, hogy két-három rakétát lőhettek ki a nagykövetség ellen, és legalább két lövedéket sikerült megsemmisítenie a diplomáciai képviselet rakétaelhárító rendszerének.
Az utóbbi években tucatnyi – és az idei év elején is már több – támadást hajtottak végre amerikai csapatok által használt támaszpontok és diplomáciai létesítmények ellen Irakban és Szíriában is. A háttérben az Irán támogatását élvező milíciákat sejtik. Az eddigi támadások alig okoztak károkat.
Az idén az incidensek hulláma Kászim Szulejmáni halálának második évfordulóján kezdődött. Az Egyesült Államok 2020. január 3-án dróntámadással likvidálta Szulejmánit, az iráni Forradalmi Gárda al-Kudsz elitegységének vezetőjét Bagdadban. A támadásban az Irán támogatását élvező Népi Mozgósítási Erők nevű, iraki síita milícia egyik vezetője, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandisz is meghalt. Irán már akkor megfogadta, hogy bosszút fog állni.
Teherán a Forradalmi Gárda külföldi műveletekért felelős alakulatán, illetve az iszlám köztársasághoz fűződő milíciákon keresztül bír jelentős befolyással az iraki és a szíriai viszonyokra.

Habár az elmúlt évek során lényegesen jobb lett a közbiztonság állapota Irakban, még mindig történnek időről-időre támadások.
Az iraki hadsereg közleménye szerint két rakétát is lőttek a Bagdadban található amerikai nagykövetség környékére – írja az AFP. Ez azonban nem okozott komoly károkat, mivel Bagdad a lehető legnagyobb védettségi szintet élvező „zöld zónában” található.
A magas védettségi szint miatt fejlett rakétavédelmi rendszereket telepítettek korábban Bagdadba, amely most is jól vizsgázott: a C-RAM védelmi rendszer mindkét rakétát eltérítette, az elsőt a levegőben lőtték ki, a másodikat pedig egy térre vezették, ahol két autót károsított meg.
A biztonsági erők közleménye szerint az amerikai nagykövetség felé kilőtt rakétákért még senki nem vállalta a felelősséget, nem tudni pontosan, hogy ki lőhette ki azokat. Az elmúlt idők drón- és rakétatámadásaiért általában nem is vállalta senki a felelősséget, legtöbbször Irán-szimpatizáns milíciáknak tulajdonítják őket.
Az elmúlt hónapok során több rakétatámadást és dróncsapást kíséreltek meg végrehajtani Irakban található amerikai érdekeltségek ellen, ezek azonban ritkán okoznak tragédiát. Jelenleg 2500 amerikai katona állomásozik Irakban, mintegy állandó haderőért.
A mostani támadás sem feltételen véletlen történt, december 18-án volt ugyanis a tízedik évfordulója az amerikai csapatok kivonulásának Irakból. Az amerikai invázió során sikerült megbuktatni Szaddam Husszeint, Irak diktátorát, ezt követően azonban az ország de facto anarchiába süllyedt.

Az izlandi rendőrség közlése szerint három férfit tartóztattak le, miután házi készítésű bombát találtak a főváros, Reykjavik egyik lakónegyedében.
A robbanószerkezetet kedden fedezték fel egy kukában az amerikai nagykövetségnek otthont adó lakóház közelében, de a reykjavíki rendőrség közölte, hogy tudomásuk szerint: Nincs bizonyíték arra, hogy az ügynek köze lenne az Egyesült Államok vagy más ország nagykövetségéhez.
A rendőrség közölte, hogy a három letartóztatott férfi közül kettő próbaidőn volt, és visszakerült a börtönbe. A harmadikat szabadon engedték – írta meg az ABC.
A rendőrség nem közölt részleteket a házi készítésű bombáról, illetve arról,hogy hogyan találták meg,de megerősítették,hogy a nyomozás folytatódik az ügyben.

Az Egyesült Államok kijevi nagykövetsége csütörtökön arra figyelmeztette az amerikai állampolgárokat, hogy Ukrajnában a biztonsági helyzet „váratlanul megváltozhat” – adta hírül az rbc.ua hírportál a diplomáciai képviselt honlapjára hivatkozva.
A közlemény szerint az ukrajnai amerikai nagykövetség továbbra is figyelemmel kíséri a helyzet alakulását, különös tekintettel az ukrán határon folyó orosz csapatösszevonásokra. Ennek kapcsán arra figyelmeztette az amerikai állampolgárokat, hogy Ukrajnában a biztonsági feltételek minden előzetes bejelentés nélkül megváltozhatnak.
Az amerikai diplomáciai képviselet emlékeztetett arra, hogy továbbra negyedik szintű figyelmeztetés – „tartózkodás az oda utazástól” – van érvényben Krímmel szemben, ahol az orosz megszálló hatalom önkényeskedik, valamint Donyeck és Luhanszk megyék keleti része a fegyveres konfliktus miatt.

A bagdadi Zöld Zónára hétfőn rakétasorozatot lőttek ki. Ebben a zónában található az iraki kormányzati és egyéb épületek mellett az Egyesült Államok nagykövetsége is – tájékoztatták az AFP francia hírügynökséget iraki biztonsági vezetők.
Egy hét alatt ez volt a harmadik támadás Irakban lévő nyugati érdekeltségek ellen.
A Zöld Zónában legalább két rakéta csapódott be – tudatták közleményben az iraki biztonsági szolgálatok.
Egy nevének elhallgatását kérő biztonsági vezető szerint legalább egy rakéta eltalálta a nemzetbiztonsági hivatal épületét, amely az amerikai nagykövetség közelében áll.
Több más rakéta a fokozottan biztosított épületegyüttes körüli lakónegyedekre zuhant, Haritíja negyedben egy parkolót ért találat.
Február 15-én az iraki Kurdisztáni Autonóm Régió fővárosa, Erbíl repülőtere közelében lévő katonai támaszpontot érte rakétatámadás, ahol az Iszlám Állam terrorszervezet ellen harcoló, az
Egyesült Államok vezette szövetség külföldi csapatai állomásoznak. A támadásban egy, a szövetség számára dolgozó polgári vállalkozó meghalt, kilenc másik ember megsebesült.
Több rakétatámadást hajtottak végre Erbíltől északnyugatra is, itt lakónegyedeket is ért találat. Itt öt civil sebesült meg, egyikük hétfőn belehalt sebesülésébe.
Két hónap óta ezek voltak az nyugati katonai és diplomáciai létesítmények elleni első támadások. Tavaly többtucatnyi, Irán-barát csoportoknak tulajdonított támadást követtek el.
Szombaton rakétákkal lőtték a Bagdadtól északra fekvő Balad légibázisát, ahogy az iraki légierők F-16 típusú vadászgépeket tárolnak, a gépek karbantartását végző amerikai cég legalább egy iraki alkalmazottja megsebesült.
Az erbíli támadás elkövetését egy viszonylag ismeretlen szervezet, az Aulíjaa ed-Dam (Vér Őrizői) vállalta magára. A szervezet az interneten közzétett közleményében bejelentette, hogy további támadásokra készül az Irakban állomásozó amerikai erők ellen.
Több nyugati ország elítélte a támadásokat, és figyelmeztetett, hogy a szövetség elleni támadásokat nem fogják eltűrni. Az ENSZ figyelmeztetett arra, hogy Irak stabilitása ismét meggyengülhet.
