Negyvenre emelkedett az észak-törökországi szénbányában történt robbanás halálos áldozatainak száma. A mentők több tucatnyi, még mindig a föld alatt rekedt munkást próbálnak kimenteni.
A robbanás helyi idő szerint 18:15-kor történt pénteken a fekete-tengeri Amasra város egyik bányájában. A hivatalos adatok szerint további 28 bányász sérült meg.
Szulejmán Soylu török belügyminiszter szerint – akit az MTI idézett – a robbanás idején a föld alatt, 300-350 méter mélyen rekedt 110 bányász közül 49-en valószínűleg meghaltak. Fatih Donmez török energiaügyi miniszter azt mondta, az első adatok azt mutatják, hogy sújtólégrobbanás történt.
A török állami katasztrófavédelmi ügynökség, az Afad kezdetben azt állította a Twitteren, hogy egy hibás transzformátor okozta a robbanást, de később visszavonta állítását, és úgy módosított, hogy „ismeretlen okokból” metángáz gyulladt meg.
Egész éjszaka folyt a mentés
A török média által a bánya bejáratáról sugárzott felvételek tanúsága szerint a bánya bejáratának környékén összegyűltek a lent lévők családtagjai.
„Nem tudom, mi történt” – mondta az Anadolu hírügynökségnek egy bányász, akinek sikerült sértetlenül kijutnia a tárnákból. „Hirtelen nyomást éreztem, és nem láttam semmit” – tette hozzá.
Mivel a robbanás nem sokkal napnyugta előtt történt, a mentési műveleteket a sötétség is lassította.
„A dolgozók közel felét sikerült evakuálni. A legtöbbjük jól van, de vannak súlyos sérültek is” – mondta Recai Cakir, Amasra polgármestere a török NTV magáncsatornának.
A helyi kormányzó szerint egy több mint 70 fős csapatnak sikerült elérnie az akna egy olyan pontját, amely mintegy 250 méterrel a felszín alatt van. Egyelőre nem volt világos, hogy a mentők közelebb tudnak-e jutni a csapdába esett munkásokhoz.

Robbanás történt egy szénbányában Észak-Törökországban pénteken, ketten meghaltak, húszan megsérültek, több tucat vájár a föld alatt rekedt – közölte Nurtac Arslan, Bartin tartomány kormányzója és Fahrettin Koca egészségügyi miniszter.
A kormányzó a TRT Haber török állami hírtelevízió beszámolója szerint azt mondta, hogy 49 munkás rekedhetett az Amasra körzetben található bányában.
„Jelenleg 44 ember van 300 méteres és további öt 350 méteres mélységben” – tájékoztatott a kormányzó. Hozzátette, hogy nyolcan segítség nélkül is el tudták hagyni a bányát.
Az egészségügyi miniszter nem sokkal később közölte, hogy a szerencsétlenségnek legalább két halálos áldozata és húsz sérültje van.
A török televíziók felvételeiken sérülteket mutattak, akiket hordágyon vittek mentőkocsikhoz. Az AFAD katasztrófavédelmi hatóság szerint a balesetet a bánya áramelosztó-egységének meghibásodása okozhatta.
A TRT tudomása szerint a török belügyminiszter és az energiaügyi tárcavezető is úton van a fővárostól, Ankarától 300 kilométerre északra lévő bánya felé. Törökországban nem először fordul elő hasonló baleset a biztonsági előírások be nem tartása miatt. 2014-ben 301 bányász vesztette életét Manisa tartomány egyik szénbányájában.

A kolumbiai mentők az idő ellenében dolgoznak, hogy megmentsenek 14 szénbányászt, akik hétfő óta egy bányaszerencsétlenség után a föld alatt rekedtek és az életbenmaradásért küzdenek.
Különböző gázok felgyülemlése okozta a robbanást, ami elvágta a bányászokat a külvilágtól.
A robbanás kiterjedt hulláma a felszínen ért egy bányászt, aki azóta belehalt az általa szerzett égési sérülésekbe.
A bányászati balesetek nem ritkák Kolumbiában, 2021-ben 148 halálesetet regisztráltak.
A bányászok hozzátartozói virrasztást tartottak egy kis patak partján, nem messze a bánya bejáratától.
Kétségbe vagyunk esve, de reménykedünk, hogy életben vannak – mondta az egyik feleség az RCN rádiónak.
A regionális bányászati titkár, Jhon Olivares nyilatkozta, hogy 200 méterrel a föld alatt vannak, míg néhány helyi média arról számolt be, hogy akár 300 méter mélyen is lehetnek.
A bányát 2021-ben bezárták a magas gázkoncentráció miatt, de 2022. május 19-én engedélyt kaptak az újranyitásra, tehát legálisan működik – folytatta a titkár.
A mentési munkálatokat a felgyülemlett gáz és a heves esőzések is nehezítették – írja a BBC.
A robbanás olyan erős volt, hogy 15 méterre az alagút bejáratától lángok csaptak fel, amik elnyelték Fabio Cácerest, a 37 éves bányászt, aki azóta meghalt.
A mérnökök dolgoznak az aknák szellőztetésén, a mentőknek eddig 150 métert sikerült előrehaladniuk. A kolumbiai polgárvédelmi erők éjjel-nappal dolgoznak a bányászok kiszabadításán.

Vízbetörés következtében 21 bányász rekedt 1200 méteres mélységben egy szénbányában Kínában – jelentette vasárnap a Hszinhua kínai hírügynökség.
A baleset helyi idő szerint szombat este történt Kína északnyugati részén, Hszincsiang-Ujgur autonóm tartomány székhelyétől, Ürümcsitől 85 kilométerre nyugatra, a Hutubi szénbányájában.
A mentőegységek elkezdték kiszivattyúzni a vizet a járatokból. Jelenleg három szivattyú dolgozik, és egy negyediket is üzembe helyeznek hamarosan – közölte a mentésirányítás.
Kínában gyakoriak a bányaszerencsétlenségek. Januárban egy robbanás után 22 bányász rekedt a föld alatt az ország keleti részén; csaknem két hétbe telt, mire elérték őket a mentőegységek. Tizenegy embert sikerült kimenteni, tízen meghaltak, egy bányász pedig eltűnt.
