A háború kezdete, azaz 2022 februárja óta az orosz veszteség – halottak és sebesültek – teljes száma valószínűleg elérte az 500 ezer főt – számolt be pénteken az rbc.ua hírportál a brit védelmi minisztérium Twitter-közlésére hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint 2024-ben Oroszország veszteségei továbbra is magas szinten maradtak, májusban pedig az orosz állomány átlagos vesztesége meghaladta a napi 1200 főt, ami a legmagasabb adat a háború kezdete óta.
A brit hírszerzés szerint az áldozatok számának növekedése nagy valószínűséggel Oroszország kimerítő széles frontoffenzíváját tükrözi. Valószínű, hogy a legtöbb orosz élőerő csak korlátozott kiképzésben részesül, és nem alkalmas összetett támadó műveletek végrehajtására. Ennek eredményeként Oroszország kis léptékű, de drága hullámtámadásokkal próbálja meggyengíteni Ukrajna védelmét.
„Oroszország további erőket toboroz, hogy támogassa ezt a megközelítést. A frontvonalbeli állomány folyamatos utánpótlásának szükségessége azonban szinte biztosan továbbra is korlátozza Oroszország lehetőségét a nagyobb potenciállal rendelkező egységek létrehozására” – jegyezte meg a brit védelmi minisztérium.
Mint hírportálunk 2024. február 25-én beszámolt róla, Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök a sajtótájékoztatóján kijelentette, hogy Ukrajna az Oroszország elleni háborúban 31 000 katonát veszített, de minden ukrán élet elvesztése nagy tragédia.

Az Egyesült Királyság védelmi hírszerzése rávilágított az orosz védelmi minisztérium struktúráin belül meghonosodott korrupcióra, és ezzel kapcsolatban várakozását fejezte ki, hogy újabb letartóztatások várhatóak a minisztériumon belül – derült ki a brit védelmi minisztérium szombati X-bejegyzéséből.
Ahogyan arról az Index is beszámolt, az elmúlt hónapban több tábornokot tartóztattak le Oroszországban, köztük Timur Ivanov védelmiminiszter-helyettest, Jurij Kuznyecovot, a katonai tárca személyzeti osztályának vezetőjét és Ivan Popovot, a déli katonai körzet 58. hadseregének volt parancsnokát. Dmitrij Peszkov orosz elnöki szóvivő elmondta, hogy nem kampányról van szó, hanem a bűnüldöző szervek korrupció elleni következetes harcáról, amely az állami intézményrendszer minden szintjén folyik.
A korrupció mélyen gyökerezik az orosz védelmi minisztériumban, és valószínű, hogy további letartóztatások lesznek – áll a britek szombati jelentésében.
Legutóbb május 23-án az orosz vezérkari főnök helyettesét, Vagyim Samarint vették őrizetbe vesztegetés gyanújával. A hírszerzés megjegyezte, hogy az őrizetbe vett Samarin 2021 óta vezette az orosz védelmi minisztérium kommunikációs igazgatóságát, és egyik elődje, Halil Arszlanov ellen is korrupció miatt indult eljárás ezen a poszton.

Az Ukrajna elleni két éve tartó, teljes körű háború során Oroszország ugyanannyi személyi állományt és katonai technikát veszített, mint amennyivel 2022. február 24-én megkezdte invázióját, áll a brit védelmi minisztérium X-en közzétett hírszerzési jelentésében.
A hírszerzés adatai szerint Oroszország hozzávetőleg 130 taktikai csoportot vetett be Ukrajna megszállására, ami 1300 harckocsit, több mint 5000 gyalogsági harcjárművet és páncélozott szállítójárművet valamint legkevesebb, mint 100 000 főt foglal magában.
„A konfliktus két éve alatt az orosz veszteségek megegyeztek, és sok esetben meg is haladták annak kezdeti mértékét. A megerősített orosz veszteségek több mint 2700 tankot, valamint 5000 harcjárművet és páncélozott szállítójárművet foglalnak magukban. A halottak és sebesültek száma Oroszországban valószínűleg megközelítőleg 350 000” – áll a jelentésben.
Az Oroszországi Föderáció ezeket a veszteségeket a termelés mozgósításával és növelésével kompenzálta – magyarázták a brit hírszerzők.
„Jelenleg az orosz csapatok száma Ukrajnában nagyobb, mint a háború elején. Most már képes támogatni a frontvonal mentén végrehajtott támadásokat, és végrehajtani az ukrán erők kimerítésének stratégiáját” – értékeli a brit hírszerzés.

Érzékeny veszteségeket volt kénytelen elkönyvelni Oroszország, amely nagy jelentőséget tulajdonít csúcstechnológiás, nagy hatótávolságú légvédelmi rakétarendszerinek – számoltak be a brit védelmi minisztérium szakértői.
A hírszerzési jelentésből kiderül, hogy az orosz hadsereg legalább négy nagy hatótávolságú felszíni légvédelmi rakéta indítóállást veszített el az ukrán légicsapások miatt az elmúlt héten.
Ezek vélhetően a fejlett technikájú Sz–400-as (NATO kód: SA-21) rendszerek részei voltak. Az eszközök a csapások következtében használhatatlanná váltak.
A veszteségek azért is érinthetik kellemetlenül Moszkvát, mert orosz katonai stratégiában fontos szerepet játszanak a nagy hatótávolságú high-tech légvédelmi rendszerek.
A közelmúltbeli veszteségek azonban rávilágítanak arra, hogy az orosz integrált légvédelmi rendszer továbbra is küszködik a modern precíziós csapásmérő fegyverekkel szemben, ami egyre nagyobb terhet róhat a rendszer többi elemére is.
A jelentés szerint reális esély van arra, hogy miközben Oroszország Ukrajnában lecseréli a megsemmisített rendszereket, más műveleti területeken gyengülni fog a légvédelme.
Az Sz–400 Triumf légvédelmi rakétarendszert a kilencvenes években fejlesztettek ki, és 2007 óta áll hadrendben az orosz fegyveres erőknél. Hadászati és taktikai repülőgépek, ballisztikus rakéták, hiperszonikus célpontok, különféle légi eszközök elsősorban elektronikus úton való megsemmisítésére szolgál.
Korábban élénk vitákat váltott ki, hogy Moszkva és Ankara 2017-ben szerződést írt alá két ilyen rakétarendszer szállításáról. Az Egyesült Államok többször aggodalmát fejezte ki az ügylet miatt, attól tartva, hogy Oroszország a rendszereket a legújabb generációs amerikai F–35-ös vadászbombázókról való információgyűjtésre használhatja fel.

Az orosz erők kénytelenek egyetlen „hosszú” útvonalra támaszkodni logisztikájukhoz az ideiglenesen megszállt Krímben, miután súlyos csapások érték a pontonhidakat a csongári és a genicseszki ellenőrzőpontokon – számolt be a brit védelmi minisztérium legfrissebb hírszerzési jelentésében.
A jelentés szerint az orosz hadsereg folytatja a pontonhidak felállítását a dél-ukrajnai és a megszállt Krím határán.
Azok után az erőteljes csapások után, amelyeket az ukrán fegyveres erők augusztus közepén hajtottak végre a fent említett hidakon, nem valószínű, hogy ez az infrastruktúra képes lesz ellenállni annak a jelentős mennyiségű nehéz felszerelésnek és lőszernek, amelyet Oroszország megpróbál átcsoportosítani – tette hozzá a jelentés.
Mint írták, szűk keresztmetszetek alakultak ki a Krímben. Ez azt jelenti, hogy az orosz erők részben az Armanszkon átvezető hosszú útra támaszkodnak. Ez további nehézségeket okoz Oroszország logisztikai hálózatának déli részén – áll a jelentésben.

„2022. február 28-a óta az orosz hadihajók nem tudnak áthaladni a Boszporuszon, így a Szíriában és a Földközi-tengeren tartózkodó orosz haderő nagymértékben függővé vált az olyan polgári hajóktól, mint a Sig és a Sparta IV, és néhány másik. Jelentős orosz veszteségekről árulkodó felvételt tett közzé a brit védelmi minisztérium az orosz-ukrán háborúról szóló szokásos napi helyzetjelentésében.
A brit védelmi minisztérium néhány napja jelezte, hogy Vuhledár ellen nagy erejű orosz támadás várható. Az orosz erőket valószínűleg még mindig Rusztam Muradov altábornagy irányítja, akin a hadi kudarcok miatt erős bizonyítási kényszer van. A brit védelmi minisztérium ennek ellenére csütörtökön azt jósolta, hogy nem valószínű, hogy az oroszok át tudják törni az ukrán vonalakat.
Az ábrán a vuhledári előrenyomulás irányát, illetve a páncélozott járművekben mutatkozó veszteségeket jelölték.

A brit hírszerzés ma arról számolt be, hogy az orosz haditengerészeti gyalogság 155. számú dandárja jelentős veszteségeket szenvedhetett a Vuhledár elleni támadásban. A jelentés azt is megjegyzi, hogy ezeket az egységeket elit gyalogsági erőként tartják számon. Igaz, a haditengerészeti gyalogság erőit nem egyetlen nagy alakulatként vetik be Ukrajnában, hanem az egyes egységeket a szárazföldi erők által dominált haderőcsoportokhoz csatolják.
Ezeket az egységeket a háborúban a legnehezebb taktikai feladatokkal bízzák meg, és emiatt már eddig is rendkívül jelentős veszteségeket szenvedtek el, és egyre inkább tapasztalatlan mozgósított személyzettel töltötték fel. Bár ez a műveleti hatékonyságot jelentősen csökkenti, a brit hírszerzés úgy gondolja, hogy az egységeket újabb támadásokra kötelezik a vuhledári offenzíva keretében.
