Az egy hónapos Burkina Fasó-i katonai műveletben legalább 128 dzsihadista halt meg. Ezt az afrikai ország hadserege hétfőn jelentette be. A műveletet a hadsereg és az ország biztonsági erői közösen hajtották végre.
A tájékoztatás szerint szárazföldi és légi úton végrehajtott művelet május 15-től június 15-ig zajlott Kana-3 néven, és nigeri katonák is részt vettek benne. Az al-Kaida és az Iszlám Állam terrorszervezethez köthető fegyveresek 2015 óta rendszeresen hajtanak végre támadásokat Burkina Fasóban, valamint a szomszédos Maliban és Nigerben is.
A hadsereg januárban megbuktatta a 2015 óta hivatalban lévő Roch Marc Christian Kaboré elnököt, a hatalmat az ország keleti – dzsihadista támadásoknak leginkább kitett – régiójáért felelős katonai körzet parancsnoka, Paul-Henri Damiba alezredes vette át, aki a legfontosabb feladatának a biztonság helyreállítását nevezte.
Az ingatag biztonsági helyzet és az erőszakcselekmények miatt a Burkina Fasó-i kormány adatai szerint már több mint 1,9 millióan menekültek el otthonukból.

Dzsihadisták legkevesebb huszonhárom civilt gyilkoltak meg az északkelet-nigériai Borno államban – jelentették csütörtökön helyi milíciák.
A tájékoztatás szerint az Iszlám Állam terrorszervezet helyi ágának (Iszlám Állam Nyugat-afrikai Tartomány, ISWAP) fegyveresei támadtak rá fémhulladékot gyűjtő civilek egy ötvenfős csoportjára a dikwai kerület egyik falujában. Az incidens még kedden történt. Egy helyi fegyveres önvédelmi csoport vezetője az AFP francia hírügynökségnek azt mondta, a 23 halálos áldozat mellett három túlélőnek sikerült visszatérnie Dikwába, huszonnégy társuk sorsáról egyelőre nem tudni.
A támadást feltételezések szerint bosszúból követték el: a szélsőségesek ugyanis azzal vádolják a fémhulladékot keresőket, hogy információkat továbbítanak tartózkodási helyükről a milíciáknak. Már a múlt hónapban is történt egy hasonló atrocitás: Mudu faluban harminc civilt mészároltak le az iszlamisták.
Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola nigériai belügyminiszter csütörtökön tartott sajtótájékoztatóján közölte, hogy az ISWAP-ot gyanítják az Ondo állambeli Owo város Szent Ferenc katolikus templomában a múlt hét végén elkövetett vérengzés hátterében. Ondo állam kormányzója közölte, hogy a legfrissebb adatok szerint a támadásnak negyven halálos áldozata volt, s még kórházban kezelnek hatvanegy sebesültet.

A nyugat-afrikai Burkina Faso északkeleti részében szombaton három támadásban mintegy negyven katonát, valamint polgári személyt öltek meg dzsihadisták – közölte az AFP francia hírügynökség helyi biztonsági és politikai vezetőkre hivatkozva hétfőn.
„A támadást az Önkéntesek a Haza Védelméért (VDP) nevű katonai egység ellen hajtották végre a Száhel-övezetben fekvő Guessel faluban. A támadásban mintegy húszan haltak meg, közöttük a VDP nyolc tagja” – közölte az egyik vezető. Hozzátette, hogy ugyanazon a napon a VDP öt másik tagját és egy polgári személyt öltek meg Markoyéban, a térség másik településén.
„Az övezetben intézkedést hoztak erősítés küldésére és a […] lakosság megvédelmezésére” – közölte a vezető.
A Togo és Benin határa közelében fekvő délkeleti Kompienga tartományban kiegészítő egységekben szolgáló katonák kísérte konvojra támadtak Namouyouri településen – közölte egy másik regionális vezető, aki hozzátette, hogy mintegy tizenöt polgári személyt öltek meg.
A tartomány egyik lakója elmondta, hogy a civileken kívül három katona is meghalt, és tucatnyian megsebesültek a támadásban.
Vasárnapra virradó éjszaka hasonló támadást hajtottak végre csendőr- és rendőrőrsök ellen az ország nyugati részén, a mali határ közelében fekvő Faramanában. A támadásban a biztonsági erők két tagja megsebesült, egy biztonsági illetékes szerint.
Burkina Faso 2015 óta olyan dzsihadista támadások célpontja, amelyeket különböző fegyveres mozgalmak, közöttük az al-Kaidához, illetve az Iszlám Államhoz tartozó csoportok hajtanak végre. A támadásoknak eddig több, mint kétezer halottjuk volt, és 1,8 millióan váltak belső menekültté.
Az ország új „erős embere”, a dzsihadista erőszakkal szemben tehetetlennek tartott Roch Marc Christian Kaboré megválasztott elnököt január 24-én megdöntő Paul-Henri Sandaogo Damiba alezredes „elsődleges feladatnak” nevezte a biztonsági kérdést.
A hatalomátvételt követő viszonylag nyugodt hetek után a Damiba vezette kormányzat a feltételezett dzsihadisták növekvő számú támadásaival találta magát szemben. A hatalomátvétel óta több száz ember esett áldozatául a dzsihadista támadásoknak.
Egy hete a Burkina Fasó-i hadsereg közleményben jelentette be, hogy legalább ötven terroristát ártalmatlanítottak az ország északnyugati, illetve délnyugati régióiban.
Április elején az államfő bejelentette, hogy helyi bizottságokat hoznak létre a dzsihadista csoportokkal folytatott tárgyalásra az erőszak megfékezésére.

Belgium tizenhárom terroristát fosztott meg állampolgárságuktól, amiért korábban dzsihadista csoportokhoz csatlakoztak Szíriában és Afganisztánban – jelentette a La Libre Belgique című francia nyelvű napilap hétfőn.
A brüsszeli fellebbviteli bíróság két éven belül ötödik alkalommal döntött terrorista csoportokhoz csatlakozott fiatalok belga állampolgárságának megvonásáról. Ilyen bírósági döntés ez idáig 52 embert érint.
A többségében belga-marokkói kettős állampolgársággal rendelkező férfiakat korábban jogerősen tizenöt, tíz, illetve hét év börtönbüntetésre ítélték Belgiumban. Az állampolgárság elvesztése olyan esetben lehetséges, ha az érintett kettős állampolgársággal rendelkezik – írták.
Az elítéltek távollétében hozott döntését a bíróság azzal indokolta, hogy az érintettek „nem teljesítették állampolgári kötelességeiket”. A tizenhárom férfi közül tizenketten 2012 decembere és 2014 decembere között csatlakoztak dzsihadista csoportokhoz Szíriában. A tizenharmadik egy Afganisztánban tevékenykedő terrorista sejt tagjává vált 2007-ben. A bíróság azt feltételezi, hogy a terroristák ellen vívott harcok során majdnem mindannyian meghalhattak, noha – mint írták – erre nincs hivatalos bizonyíték. Feltételezik, hogy egyiküket a kurd erők tarthatják fogva Észak-Szíriában – közölte a napilap.
Az állampolgári nyilvántartásból törölt tizenhárom embernek nyolc nap áll rendelkezésére, hogy fellebbezést nyújtson be az intézkedés ellen – tették hozzá.

A belga hatóságok őrizetbe vettek tizenhárom embert kedd reggel Antwerpenben egy terroristacsoport elleni nyomozás keretében – számolt be az MTI a belga szövetségi ügyészségre hivatkozva.
A házkutatásokkal járó akció folyamán, amelyben a szövetségi igazságügyi rendészet mintegy száz ügynöke vett részt, nem történt incidens. Az ügyészség szerint a művelet célja az volt, „hogy jobban be tudják azonosítani egy, a városban kialakult dzsihadista szalafista csoport tevékenységét”.
A gyanúsítottaknak kedden kell megjelenniük az ügyészség előtt, amely még a nap folyamán dönt letartóztatásba helyezésükről. A flandriai Antwerpen már korábban is a nemzetközi iszlamizmus egyik európai bázisa volt. Ebben a kikötővárosban alakult meg a Sharia4Belgium csoport, amelyet 2015-ben terrorista szervezetnek minősítettek az illetékes hatóságok.
Korábbi szellemi vezetőjét, a marokkói származású Fouad Belkacemet ugyanebben az évben a belga bíróság 12 év börtönbüntetésre ítélte, egyebek között amiatt, hogy Belgiumban harcosokat toborzott a Szíriában küzdő dzsihadisták soraiba. A férfit 2018-ban megfosztották belga állampolgárságtól.

Szombaton már harmadik napja folytak a harcok Északkelet-Szíriában az Iszlám Állam (IÁ) dzsihadista szervezet fegyveresei és a kurd erők között, amelyeknek eddig több mint hetven halálos áldozata van – közölte az Emberi Jogok Szíriai Megfigyelőközpontja (OSDH) nevű aktivistahálózat.
A dzsihadisták megtámadták a Haszake városban lévő börtönt, és összecsaptak a helyi kurd biztonsági erőkkel. Az előbbiek 45, utóbbiak 28 embert veszítettek, és meghalt öt civil is – mondta Rámi Abdurrahmán, a Szíria-szerte aktivistákkal rendelkező, de angliai központú szervezet vezetője.
A haszakei börtönben mintegy 3500 feltételezett dzsihadistát, köztük az IÁ vezető beosztású tagjait tartják fogva. Több száz őrizetesnek sikerült kiszabadulnia a börtönből, és néhány tucatnyinak sikerült elmenekülnie is, a többieket elfogták – tette hozzá Abdurrahmán.
De a küzdelem még folytatódik a börtönnél – mondta.
Ez volt az IÁ legjelentősebb támadása azóta, hogy 2019-ben az ellenük megszerveződött nemzetközi erők felszámolták kalifátusukat Szíriában és Irakban. Most már csak néhány tízezer emberük rejtőzködik az iraki-szíriai határvidéken, és hajt végre kisebb támadásokat.

A francia belügyminisztérium elrendelte szerdán egy radikális iszlámot hirdető mecset bezárását a nyugat-franciaországi Le Mans városához közeli, 11 ezer lakosú Allonnes településen, ahol „legitimálták”, elfogadottként kezelték a fegyveres dzsihádot.
A rendőrségi közlemény szerint a vallási helyet két iszlám egyesület működtette, s mintegy háromszázan látogatták rendszeresen.
„A bizonyítékok szerint a radikális iszlamista mozgalomhoz tartozó vagy ahhoz közel álló emberek által látogatott vallási helyen a tevékenység és a beszédek legitimálták a fegyveres dzsihádot, a mártírhalált, a terrorcselekmények elkövetését, az erőszak, a gyűlölet és a diszkrimináció alkalmazását, valamint a saría bevezetését” – olvasható a nyugat-franciaországi Sarthes megye közleményben.
Az allonnes-i mecsetben egy Korán-iskola is működik, ahol mintegy 110 gyerek tanul. A prefektúra szerint a fegyveres dzsihádról pozitív tartalommal beszéltek a gyereknek, s ez alapján a mecset indoktrinációs, „befolyásolt tanítást” folytató helynek minősül.
Nyomozati források szerint a mecsetet hetek óta megfigyelték a titkosszolgálatok.
Gérald Darmanin belügyminiszter szeptemberben a Le Figaro című napilapnak adott interjúban jelentette be, hogy hat olyan mecset ellen indult eljárás, amely a gyanú szerint a radikális iszlámot propagálja, s így a közeljövőben további imahelyek hatósági bezáratása várható. A belügyminiszter elmondta, hogy amióta a kormány két évvel ezelőtt meghirdetette az iszlamista szeparatizmus elleni programját, 89 vallási hely került megfigyelés alá radikalizmus gyanúja miatta, s egyharmadukat be is zárták. A tárcavezető hozzátette, hogy Emmanuel Macron államfővé választása óta a rendőrség mintegy 24 ezer ellenőrzést tartott, és szélsőségesek által látogatott 650 helyet vagy szervezetet számolt fel.

Mali északi részén vasárnap több mint negyven civillel végeztek dzsihadisták válogatás nélkül – jelentették hétfőn újságíróknak helyi illetékesen.
A motorral érkező szélsőségesek a nigeri határon található Karou, Ouatagouna és Daoutegeft falura csaptak le, ahol válogatás nélküli gyilkolásba kezdtek – mesélte egy biztonsági tisztségviselő.
Karouban húsz, Ouatagounában 14 civilt öltek meg. A többiek Daoutegeftben haltak meg – pontosított az egyik település képviselője.
Egy negyedik faluban is támadásról számoltak be, más források pedig 51 halálos áldozatról tudnak.
A katonaság csapatokat küldött a helyszínre, hogy biztonságot nyújtson a lakosságnak.
Egy mali civil szervezet munkatársa jelezte: nehezen tartják a kapcsolatot a szóban forgó településekkel, mert a dzsihadisták az elmúlt napokban számos támadást indítottak a telekommunikációs infrastruktúra ellen, hogy elvágják a térséget a világtól.Mali a Száhel-övezetben található, ahol számos iszlamista milícia tevékenykedik. Egyes csoportok az Iszlám Államnak, mások az al-Kaida nemzetközi terrorszervezetnek esküdtek hűséget. Az ország biztonsági és belpolitikai helyzete 2012 óta ingatag. A szélsőségesek támadásaiban, az etnikai villongásokban és a biztonsági erők túlkapásaiban ezrek vesztették életüket és százezrek váltak földönfutóvá az elmúlt években.

Egy nigeri faluban és egy közeli katonai támaszponton feltételezett dzsihadisták legalább 34 embert öltek meg – jelentette szerdán a nyugat-afrikai ország hadserege.
Mintegy kétszáz, erősen felfegyverzett támadó rohanta le kedden az ország délkeleti részén található Intoussane nevű falut és a katonai bázist.
Az összecsapások során harminc katona és négy civil halt meg Nigerben és a Száhel-övezet más országaiban számos fegyveres csoport tevékenykedik, ezek közül egyesek az al-Kaida nemzetközi terrorhálózatnak, mások pedig az Iszlám Állam dzsihadista szervezetnek fogadtak hűséget. Nigerben főleg a Malival közös határon követnek el a szélsőségesek gyakran támadásokat.
A 23 millió lakosú ország kormányának a városokon kívüli területekre szinte alig terjed ki a hatalma, amit nemcsak a dzsihadisták, de például az embercsempészettel foglalkozó bűnözői hálózatok is kihasználnak.

Az északkelet-nigériai Borno államban legalább 31 katonát megöltek dzsihadisták, mikor rajtaütöttek egy katonai konvojon – közölték hétfőn nigériai katonai források.
Egy magát megnevezni nem kívánó katonai tisztségviselő szerint a vasárnapi, Maiduguri közelében elkövetett támadás során egy alezredest is megöltek.
Egy másik forrás szerint a Maiduguriba fegyvereket szállító konvojt a terroristák teherautókkal és páncélozott járművekkel vették körbe, és tüzet nyitottak a katonákra, valamint fegyvereket és katonai járműveket is zsákmányoltak.
A tájékoztatás szerint a támadást az Iszlám Állam nyugat-afrikai szervezetének (ISWAP) fegyveresei követték el.
Nigéria északkeleti részén 2009 óta van jelen a Boko Haram nevű iszlamista terrorszervezet, amelyből 2016-ban vált ki az azóta az Iszlám Állam regionális ágává kinőtt ISWAP.
