Három fegyveres férfi tört be egy jereváni rendőrőrsre az orosz TASS beszámolója szerint. A Kreml propagandamédiájához tartozó hírszolgáltató erről egy örmény rendőrségi forrás beszámolója alapján adott hírt.
Úgy tudják, hogy a helyszínen lövések hangját is lehetett hallani, többen megsebesülhettek. Az örmény News.am szerint a rendőrségre a támadók egyike gránátokkal felszerelkezve tört be, azonban a hatóságok őt lefegyverezték. A helyi Belügyminisztérium szóvivője a sajtónak azt mondta, a gránátos férfit elfogták, jelenleg azon a kapitányságon tartják fogva, ahová betört.
Egyelőre nem tudni pontosan, hogy a támadók mit akartak, az azonban biztos, hogy a gránátos férfi két társa a támadásban megsérült.

Újabb kegyetlen támadást hajtottak végre Nigériában, amely során legkevesebb 50 helyi lakossal végeztek. Nigériában nem ritkák az ehhez hasonló vérengzések, legutóbb két nap leforgása alatt a fegyveresek legkevesebb 50 embert lőttek agyon. Plateau államában hajtották végre a kegyetlen támadást, ami után 24 órás kijárási tilalmat rendeltek el, hogy ezzel is megpróbálják megvédeni a helyi gazdákat, illetve hajtóvadászatot indítottak a támadók ellen.
Egyelőre egyik fegyveres csoport sem vállalta a felelősséget a támadásokért, az elkövetett gyilkosságokért. Kevesebb mint egy hónapon belül ez már a második ilyen támadás volt az államban, amikor is decemberben több mint 140 emberrel végeztek. A legutóbbi támadást hétfőn és kedden hajtották végre, megrohamozva a körzetben lévő falvakat, mialatt felgyújtották a házakat.
További halálos áldozatai is lehetnek a támadásoknak, mert sokan eltűntek, vagy súlyosan megsérültek. Az ABC News az írja, az erőszak sokakat feldühített Nigériában, miközben az ország vezetője, Bola Tinubura magánlátogatásra utazott Franciaországba. Tavaly választották meg elnöknek Nigériában, és noha ígéretet tett arra, hogy rendet tesz az országban, a kormánya alatt sem javult a helyzet.
A kijárási tilalom sem gátolta meg az újabb haláleseteket, mert a fegyveresek visszatértek, és újabb gyilkosságokat követtek el az egyik faluban, 35-re növelve ezzel az ottani áldozatok számát. A helyiek hiába várnak védelmet, azt továbbra sem kapják meg, míg a hatóságok és a biztonsági erők gyakran nem adnak egyértelmű tájékoztatást ezekről a támadásokról.
Jelentések szerint az sem ritka, hogy elmulasztják a kivizsgálásokat, és nem szolgáltatnak igazságot az áldozatoknak. Sokan rettegésben élik az életüket, mivel sosem tudni, mikor csapnak le újra a fegyveresek, akik kegyetlenek, nem tesznek különbséget az emberek között, így számos fiatal sincs már életben.

Fegyveres támadás történt kedden Svédország tiszteletbeli konzulátusa ellen a nyugat-törökországi Izmir városában – közölte Izmir tartomány kormányzója.
A tájékoztatás szerint az elkövető egy „mentális problémákkal küzdő” ember volt, aki a konzulátus épülete előtt meglőtte a svéd diplomáciai képviselet egyik török alkalmazottját. A súlyosan sebesült férfit kórházban ápolják.
Úgy tudni, a támadó a keleti Agri tartományból származik.
A török állampolgárságú elkövetőt elfogták, büntetőeljárás indult ellene. A svéd külügyminisztérium egyelőre nem reagált a történtekre.
Ankara és Stockholm között az utóbbi időben feszült a viszony nem utolsó sorban a stockholmi Korán-égetések miatt. Legutóbb hétfőn két tüntető a svéd parlament épülete előtt elégette a muszlimok szent könyvének egyik példányát. Az utóbbi hetekben több ilyen incidens is történt, ami miatt számos muszlim ország, köztük Törökország is tiltakozását fejezte ki.

Felkavaró biztonsági felvételeken látható, amint egy férfi tüzet nyit egy New York-i vendéglőben szombat délután. A Queens kerületben lévő bangladesi gyorsétterem több vendége is fedezékbe vonult, miután a piros kapucnis pulóvert viselő fegyveres több lövést is leadott.
A helyi rendőrség közölte, hogy egy 35 éves férfit fenékbe lőtt a támadó. Más nem sérült meg, a hatóság szerint nem biztos, hogy a férfi volt a célpont, ugyanakkor nem tudni, mi volt az indíték – írja a New York Post.

Egy rendőrrel és két hívővel végzett Tunéziában egy fegyveres támadó Dzserba szigetének zsinagógája előtt – közölte szerdára virradóra az észak-afrikai ország belügyminisztériuma.
A tárca közleménye szerint a támadóval végeztek.
Úgy tudni, a biztonsági erők egyik tagja először megölte kollégáját, majd válogatás nélkül lövöldözni kezdett az imaház előtt. A támadót végül a biztonságiak lőtték le.
A halottakon kívül négy hívő és hat biztonsági őr megsebesült.
Nem sokkal korábban szemtanúk és a Mosaique FM rádió számolt be lövésekről a tunéziai partok közelében található szigeten, amelyen Afrika egyik legrégibb zsinagógája található.
Izraeli sajtójelentések szerint mintegy ezren tartózkodtak az imaházban a támadás idején.
A napokban zajlik az évente megrendezett el-greibai zarándoklat, amely a többségében Dzserbában élő, 1800, zsidó vallású tunéziai egyik legfontosabb hagyománya. A helybélieken kívül Izraelből és Európából is zsidók százai látogatnak a szigetre.
Az eseményt szoros biztonsági intézkedések mellett tartják, tekintettel arra, hogy az al-Kaida nemzetközi terrorhálózat szélsőségesei 2002-ben merényletet követtek el a zsinagóga ellen egy robbanószerrel megpakolt teherautóval. A terrortámadásban 21 külföldi turista vesztette életét.

Terrorcselekménynek nevezte a szerb elnök azt, hogy egy 20 éves férfi gépkarabéllyal nyolc embert lelőtt, és további tizennégyet megsebesített a Belgrád melletti Mladenovacon és környékén csütörtök késő este.
Aleksandar Vucic rendkívüli sajtótájékoztatóján bejelentette, hogy szigorítják a fegyvertartási és fegyverviselési törvényt, felülvizsgálják az eddig kiadott engedélyeket, szigorúbb pszichológiai vizsgálatra lesz szükség az engedélyek kiváltásához, két évig tartó moratóriumot vezetnek be az engedélyek kiadására, továbbá szigorúbb büntetéseket vezetnek be a törvénytelenül tartott fegyverek tulajdonosaira.
A szerb elnök az intézkedésekkel azt szeretné elérni, hogy a legális és az illegális fegyverek száma is jelentősen csökkenjen az országban.
A szerdai iskolai lövöldözéssel összefüggésben – amikor egy 13 éves fiú kilenc embert lelőtt és további hetet megsebesített -, a szerb elnök bejelentette, hogy 1200 embert vesznek fel a rendőrség kötelékébe, hogy a szerbiai iskolákban állandóan legyen egy rendőr, aki felügyeli a rendet.
A kilencvenes évek délszláv háborúi után rengeteg fegyver maradt a civil lakosságnál is, Szerbiában száz lakosra átlagosan 40 lőfegyver jut. Iskolai lövöldözések viszont nagyon ritkán fordulnak elő az országban, és azokat eddig egyetlen esetben sem fiatalkorú követte el.
A szerb kormány csütörtöki ülésén elfogadta a köztársasági elnök előző napi javaslatait, amelyek a fegyvertartási és -viselési törvény módosítására, az eddigi engedélyek felülvizsgálatára, a lőterek ellenőrzésére, valamint a büntethetőség alsó korhatárának 14-ről 12 évre történő csökkentésére vonatkoznak.
Mivel az iskolai lövöldözés elkövetője még nem töltötte be a 14. életévét, büntetőjogilag nem vonható felelősségre. A mladenovaci ámokfutás elkövetője pedig októberben tölti be 21. életévét, így a szerbiai büntető törvénykönyv értelmében életfogytig tartó börtönbüntetésre nem ítélhető, a legszigorúbb kiszabható ítélet 20 év letöltendő szabadságvesztés.
