Egy TikTok-kihívás miatt fojtotta meg magát egy 10 éves lány a szicíliai Palermóban. Az olasz adatvédelmi felügyelet emiatt pénteken elrendelte, hogy az alkalmazás blokkolja azoknak az olasz felhasználóknak a fiókját, akik nem tudják igazolni, hogy elmúltak 13 évesek – írja a Reuters.
A tízéves lány a szülei szerint a „blackout challenge”-et szerette volna posztolni, ezért övet tett a nyakába, és visszatartotta a lélegzetét, miközben saját magát vette a telefonjával.
Az olasz hatóság szerint bár a TikTokra hivatalosan csak 13 évesnél idősebb felhasználók regisztrálhatnak, az ennél fiatalabb gyerekek könnyen kijátszották eddig ezt a szabályt.
A halálos baleset miatt Olaszországban arra kötelezték az appot, hogy legalább február 15-ig blokkoljanak minden olyan fiókot, amelynek tulajdonosa nem igazolhatóan elég idős a TikTok használatához.
A Tiktok kínai tulajdonosa, a ByteDance egyelőre nem reagált a felszólításra.

Három fiatal szerződéses katonát találtak holtan egy bérelt lakásban a Zsitomir megyei Novoivnicke településen egy bérelt lakásban, az elhunytak testén nincsenek erőszakra utaló nyomok – közölte csütörtökön a korrespondent.net hírportál a megyei rendőrség sajtószolgálatára hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint az élettelen katonákra a településen lakó kollégáik bukkantak. A rendőrségi helyszínelés során egyikük testén sem fedeztek fel erőszakos halálra utaló nyomokat.
Mint a nyomozás kiderítette, az egyik 23 éves katona Szumi, ugyancsak 23 éves társa Dnyipropetrovszk megyei illetőségű, míg a 21 éves harmadik Csernyivci lakos. Mindhárman egy bérelt helyiségben laktak.
A rendőrségre csütörtök reggel 8:50-kor érkezett a bejelentés a három halott katona megtalálásáról. A helyszínen jelenleg nyomozócsoport dolgozik az eset körülményeinek felderítésén.

Szerbia felülvizsgálja, hogy valójában hányan haltak meg a koronavírus szövődményeinek következtében a járvány kitörése óta – jelentette be Aleksandar Vucic szerb államfő csütörtökön, miután két nappal korábban az ország vezető járványügyi szakértője arról beszélt, magasabb lehet a halottak száma az eddig közöltnél.
Aleksandar Vucic azt mondta, a lehető legkörültekintőbben járnak majd el az adatok felülvizsgálatánál, eddig sem titkoltak semmit, ezt is átlátható módon végzik majd.
Predrag Kon, az ország vezető járványügyi szakértője, a koronavírus-járvány kezelésével megbízott válságstáb tagja kedden arról beszélt a belgrádi székhelyű NewsMax Adria televíziónak, hogy március és június között káromszor annyian halhattak bele a Covid-19 betegségbe, mint amennyit hivatalosan közöltek.
Predrag Kon azt mondta, átnézte az adatokat, és arra jutott, hogy a számítógépes rendszer hibája miatt kevesebb halottat regisztráltak, mint amennyien valóban meghaltak a betegség szövődményei következtében.
Az első fertőzést március 6-án azonosították a nyugat-országban, azóta hivatalosan 33 551 fertőzöttet vettek nyilvántartásba, és 749-en haltak bele a betegségbe.
Szerbiában márciustól kezdődően folyamatosan nőtt az azonosított fertőzöttek száma, március 15-én szükségállapotot hirdettek az országban, amelyet május 6-án oldottak fel. A korábban elhalasztott általános választásokat június 21-én tartották meg, a választást megelőző időszakban a hivatalos adatok szerint minden nap száz alatt volt az új fertőzöttek száma, és egy-két halottat jegyeztek fel.
A választást követően viszont hirtelen megugrott a száma az újonnan regisztrált fertőzötteknek, és egy héttel a voksolás után már majdnem háromszáz új esetet azonosítottak. A helyzet augusztus közepére stabilizálódott, és azóta fokozatosan csökken az esetszám, szeptemberben átlagosan 60-70 fertőzöttet regisztráltak naponta, és a halottak száma sem haladta meg az ötöt.
Zlatibor Loncar egészségügyi miniszter is reagált csütörtökön a járványügyi szakértő keddi kijelentésére.
Azt mondta, bizton állíthatja, hogy nem haltak bele a regisztráltaknál háromszor többen a koronavírus-fertőzésbe, az ilyen állításoknak nincs semmi alapjuk, nincs rájuk bizonyíték.
A szerb államfő viszont minden halálesetet egyenként kivizsgáltatna, így hamarosan kiderülhet, hibázott-e valaki.

A tömegpánik akkor alakult ki, amikor a rendőrség razziát tartott a limai éjszakai klubban, ahol a koronavírus elleni védekezésképpen bevezetett tiltás ellenére tartottak zenés-táncos rendezvényt.
Az illegális buliban mintegy 120 ember vett részt Lima Los Olivos kerületében. A Thomas Restobar nevű szórakozóhelyre érkező rendőrök elkezdték feloszlatni az összejövetelt, minthogy nemcsak a tömegrendezvények esnek tilalom alá az országban, de este 10 óra után általános kijárási tilalom van érvényben.
Noha Peru volt az egyik első latin-amerikai ország, amely szigorú intézkedéseket léptetett életbe a koronavírus terjedésének megakadályozása érdekében, jelenleg mégis az egyik legsúlyosabban fertőzött ország a térségben. Az adatok szerint eddig 576 ezren betegedtek meg a Covid-19 betegségben igazolt módon, és több mint 27 ezren meghaltak.
A belügyminisztérium közlése szerint a pánik annak ellenére tört ki a diszkóban, hogy a rendőrség semmiféle fegyvert (sem könnygázt) nem alkalmazott az oszlatáskor. A klub az épület második emeletén üzemelt, és amikor a tömeg menekülni kezdett a rendőrök elől, a lépcsőházban taposták halálra egymást. Most a klub tulajdonosát azonosítják, eddig 23 embert vettek őrizetbe.

Legutóbb 2018 júliusában volt hasonló forróság, akkor a Tokiótól északra található Kumagajában mértek rekordmeleget, ugyancsak 41,1 fokot. Jorii városában egy 94 éves férfi hőgutát kapott hétfőn, és meghalt – írta a Kyodo japán közszolgálati hírügynökség.
A fővárosban, Tokióban 53-an vesztették életüket a hőségben augusztusban – mondták el tisztségviselők. Sok áldozat idős volt. A hatóságok arra kérték a japánokat, hogy fogyasszanak sok vizet, és lehetőség szerint ne tartózkodjanak a szabadban.

A szemtanúk megpróbálták elérni az áldozatot, hogy segítsenek rajta, de a krokodil magával vonszolta. A férfi testét még nem találták meg. A támadás Kuchingtól 200 kilométerre történt – mondta el a helyi mentőszolgálatok szóvivője.
Borneó halban gazdag folyóiban sok sósvízi krokodil él. Ezek a világ legnagyobb krokodiljai. A helyi hatóságok becslése szerint 10-13 ezer példány is lehet belőlük Sarawak és a szomszédos Sabah állam vizeiben.
Július elején egy 62 éves embert ölt meg Sarawakban egy ilyen krokodil, alig egy héttel korábban pedig egy 50 éves nő halálát okozta krokodiltámadás Sabah államban.

Június 23-án jelent meg az információ, hogy Ukrajnában megkezdődött a Covid-19 betegeket kezelő orvosok halálának epidemiológiai vizsgálata. Ezt jelentették Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán elnöknek a koronavírus terjedésének megakadályozásáról szóló hagyományos konferenciabeszélgetés során. A halál okának megállapítása után, az államfő kezdeményezésére, megkezdik biztosítási kifizetéseket családjaik számára. „A Covid-19-nél gyorsabban kell haladnunk a biztosítási kifizetésekkel. És ez nem csak azokra vonatkozik, akik a pandémia elleni küzdelem miatt elvesztették szeretteiket, hanem azokra az orvosokra is, akik feláldozták az egészségüket” – hangsúlyozta Volodimi Zelenszkij.
Makszim Sztepanov egészségügyi miniszter a nyugati megyékben tett látogatása után elmondta, hogy Lemberg (Lviv) megyében napi újabb 300 tesztet végeznek a helyzet megfigyelése és a sorok kialakulásának elkerülése érdekében. Azt is hozzátette, hogy az egészségügyi minisztérium vizsgálja az egészségügyi intézmények gyógyszerellátását és felkészültségét a koronavírus esetleges második hulláma esetére. Ezen kívül a miniszter elmondta, hogy megvitatják a Covid-19-es betegek segélycsomagjai finanszírozásának lehetőségeit.
Miután megállapítják a halál okát, az orvosok családjai, az államfő kezdeményezésére, biztosítási kifizetésekben részesülnek. Május 7-én a Parlament elfogadta „A lakosság fertőző betegségekkel szembeni védelméről” szóló törvény 39. cikkelyének módosításáról törvényt (az egészségügyi dolgozók és egyéb munkavállalók jogainak kiegészítő garanciáiról). Ennek a dokumentumnak megfelelően azok az orvosok, akik szakmai feladataik során fertőződtek meg koronavírussal, és ennek következtében 1 éven belül fogyatékossági csoportba sorolták be őket, 300 létminimum összegű, jelenleg ez 608 ezer UAH, támogatásban részesülnek. Koronavírus okozta halál esetén az egészségügyi dolgozó halála családja 750 létminimum összegű, jelenleg ez 1 520 250 UAH, támogatást kap.
