Régóta érvelnek azzal a bevándorlás ellenzői, hogy a menekültek között elvegyülhetnek rosszindulatú szereplők, ami időről-időre bizonyosságot nyer.
Letartóztattak egy Belgiumban terrorizmusért elítélt férfit, aki megpróbált bejutni Bulgáriába – számolt be róla az Euronews. A bolgár főügyészség közölte, hogy a gyanúsítottat szerdán vették őrizetbe egy különleges hadművelet keretében.
A férfit egy másik európai ország terrorizmussal összefüggésben körözték, ugyanis 20 év letöltendő börtönbüntetést kapott egy belga bíróságon. Ezen felül a férfi Törökországban is kapott 9.5 börtönbüntetést, szintén terrorizmus miatt.
A bolgár média azonban megtudta, hogy a letartóztatott férfi nem más, mint Yassine Lachiri, aki közvetlen kapcsolatban állt a 2015 novemberi párizsi mészárlás kitervelőjével, Abdelhamid Abaaouddal.
Egy brüsszeli bíróság még 2015-ben ítélte el egy iszlamista toborzóhálózatban vállalt szerepéért, a belga ügyészek pedig tervezték a kiadatásának kezdeményezését. A férfi viszont így érintett lesz a párizsi terrortámadásokkal összefüggésben indított perrel.
A párizsi merénylet Európa egyik legsúlyosabb iszlamista merénylete volt, amelynek során 130 ember vesztette életét egyetlen éjszaka alatt. A terrortámadás jelentősen átalakította az európai politikát, ezt követően erősödtek meg a menekültellenes hangok.

Több szlovákiai határátkelőn tartottak tüntetéseket, illetve forgalomlassító vagy az áthaladást ideiglenesen akadályozó akciókat pénteken a reggeltől hatályba lépett – a Szlovákiába érkezőkre és az országba hazatérőkre vonatkozó – szigorítások ellen tiltakozva – számolt be róla a szlovákiai sajtó.
A legnagyobb létszámú vagy az áthaladást több órán át gátló tiltakozó akciókra a szlovák-magyar határszakaszon a Rajka-Dunacsún, Esztergom-Párkány, Komárom-Révkomárom és Tornyosnémeti-Miglécnémeti határátkelőn, illetve több szlovák-cseh határátkelőn, köztük Svrcínovecnél került sor. A tiltakozó akciók következtében több helyütt torlódások, kocsisorok alakultak ki, ám a forgalom a rendőrség tájékoztatása szerint a délutáni órákra a legtöbb helyen visszatért a rendes kerékvágásba. A tiltakozók ugyanakkor sajtójelentések szerint több helyszínen jelezték, hogy a következő napokban folytatni készülnek a tiltakozó akcióikat.
A tiltakozások kiváltó oka a szlovák kormány azon intézkedése, amely szerint péntek reggeltől úgy szigorodtak a Szlovákiába érkezőkre és az országba hazatérőkre vonatkozó korlátozások, hogy a koronavírus ellen beoltottak – illetve néhány más csoportba sorolt személyek – kivételével a szlovák határt átlépőknek 14 napra karanténba kell vonulniuk.
A ma7.sk felvidéki magyar hírportál helyszíni jelentése szerint Révkomáromban mintegy százan tiltakoztak a szlovák kormány vonatkozó intézkedései ellen. A portál által megszólaltatott tüntetők leginkább azt kifogásolták, hogy a kormány intézkedései egyszerre logikátlanok és korlátozzák az emberi jogokat, ugyanakkor a munkába járó ingázókat lehetetlen helyzetbe hozzák.
„Szerintem ezek a mai tüntetések csak az országos méretű tiltakozó hullám kezdetét jelentik. Már fogytán a lakosság türelme, a kormány és a parlament kaotikus viselkedése miatt is további megmozdulások várhatók” – nyilatkozta a ma7.sk-nak az egyik tiltakozó Révkomáromban.
A péntektől érvényes intézkedések már hatályba lépésük előtt kiváltották a közvélemény jelentős részének, illetve több ellenzéki pártnak és más szervezetnek a bírálatát. A pozsonyi törvényhozás legnagyobb ellenzéki pártja, az Irány (Smer-SD) pedig az alkotmánybírósághoz fordult a szigorítás miatt, egyebek mellett azzal érvelve, hogy az intézkedéssel az állampolgárok két eltérő kategóriáját hozza létre a kormány, amelynek – vészhelyzeti állapot híján – egyébként sincs lehetősége határozatok formájában korlátozni az állampolgári jogokat.

Embercsempészéssel gyanúsít a magyar rendőrség két férfit és egy nőt, aki a koronavírus-járvány ideje alatt hamis munkaszerződésekkel és igazolásokkal segített ukrán állampolgároknak jogellenesen Nyugat-Európába utazni – közölte a Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg megyei Rendőr-főkapitányság pénteken a rendőrségi honlapon.
Csütörtökön két településen, öt helyszínen hajtottak végre rajtaütést a Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg-Megyei Rendőr-főkapitányság Bűnügyi Igazgatóság nyomozói,. Az akció során elfogott három ember pénzért cserébe ukrán állampolgároknak olyan fiktív munkaszerződéseket és igazolásokat biztosított, amelyekkel megfeleltek a járványügyi készültségi időszak utazási korlátozásaira vonatkozó szabályoknak. A hamis dokumentumokkal a Magyarországra történő belépés mellett a külföldiek jogellenesen Nyugat-Európába utazhattak – olvasható a közleményben.
A bűnszövetségben elkövetett embercsempészés bűntettével gyanúsított három embert a rendőrök őrizetbe vették és indítványozták letartóztatásukat.

Ausztria december 19-től házi karanténra kötelez minden olyan személyt, aki olyan országból érkezik, ahol magas a fertőzöttek száma.
A rendelet szerint Ausztriába csupán a következő 10 országból lehet majd korlátozások nélkül belépni: Ausztrália, Finnország, Írország, Izland, Japán, Új-Zéland, Norvégia, Dél-Korea, Uruguay és a Vatikán.
Ami más országokat illeti, kötelező 10 napos karanténba kell vonulniuk az Ausztriába való belépésükkor. A COVID-19 negatív PCR-tesztjének megléte azonban nem mentesíti őket a karanténba helyezéstől, mint korábban.
Az új szabályok szerint csak a karantén ötödik napja után lehet saját költségén koronavírus-tesztet végezni, most már nemcsak PCR-tesztet, hanem gyors (és olcsóbb) antigéntesztet is. Negatív eredmény esetén a házi karantént visszavonják.

Ukrajna több hét zöld zónás besorolás után ismét vörös zónába tette Magyarországot – derült ki az ukrán egészségügyi minisztérium hivatalos honlapján közzétett táblázatból.
Ez azt jelenti, hogy a vörös besorolású országokból hazaérkezőknek 14 napos házi karanténba kell vonulniuk, vagy koronavírus-tesztet kell csináltatniuk, ami igazolja, hogy egészségesek.

Ausztria megkettőzi az ellenőrzést a keleti határokon, a Szlovéniából és a Magyarországról érkezők között kiemelt figyelmet fordítanak majd a Balkánról érkezőkre és a buszokra – jelentette be szerdán Sebastian Kurz osztrák kancellár.
Az osztrák kormányfő azt is tudatta, hogy az új típusú koronavírus megszaporodott esetei miatt utazási figyelmeztetést adnak ki Romániára, Bulgáriára és Moldovára, és annak, aki ezekből az országokból érkezik, 14 napra karanténba kell vonulnia. A szabályt megszegőket akár 1450 euróra is büntethetik – tette hozzá. Kurz egyben felszólította a lakosságot, hogy lehetőség szerint ne utazzanak ezekbe az országokba. Arról is beszámolt: 170 olyan esetről van tudomásuk, amikor külföldről, főként valamelyik nyugat-balkáni országból visszatérők hozták be a fertőzést Ausztriába.
A határellenőrzések szigorítása kapcsán ismertette: a magyar-osztrák, illetve a szlovén-osztrák határon elsősorban a beutazókat ellenőrzik, különös tekintettel a nyugat-balkáni országokból visszatérőkre. A feladatra 1800 rendőrt vetnek be – tette hozzá. Kurz emlékeztetett, hogy a közelmúltban az új fertőzések számának napi növekedése több alkalommal is meghaladta a százat. Hangsúlyozta: a veszély még nem múlt el; helyi szinten gócpontok alakultak ki, és ezekre ott helyben kell reagálni – szögezte le, utalva a Felső-Ausztriában ismét bevezetett szigorításokra. Felső-Ausztriában csütörtöktől a nyilvános zárt helyeken, így az üzletekben ismét kötelező lesz a maszk viselése.
