A támadás miatt a parlament weboldala kedden csak részben működött, szerdán pedig még mindig nagyon lassú volt. „Az adatelemzés szerint túlterheléses, úgynevezett DDoS-módszeres támadás történt. Jelenleg a parlament weboldalának működése nagyon lassú, az internetes közvetítéseink pedig akadozhatnak” – közölte a parlament szóvivője.
A túlterheléses, DDoS-módszeres támadáskor vírussal fertőzött számítógépekről olyan sok parancsot küldenek egy számítógépes rendszerbe, hogy nem tudja feldolgozni, ezért működésképtelenné válik.
A szóvivő elmondta, hogy a parlament weboldalának helyreállítása érdekében végzett munkálatok már folyamatban vannak, de nem lehet tudni, hogy a szolgáltatások mikor lesznek ismét teljesen működőképesek.

Az ukrán Különleges Kommunikációs Szolgálat vasárnap arra figyelmeztetett, hogy orosz hekkerek trójai vírusokkal támadjak az ukrán felhasználókat, vállalkozásokat és állami szerveket.
A beszámoló szerint a vírusokat tartalmazó szoftverek elsősorban torrentoldalakon találhatóak meg. A trójai vírus a szoftverek telepítése után hozzáfér a géphez, és onnantól kezdve az orosz titkosszolgálatok is hozzáférhetnek az adatokhoz.
A Kyiv Independent szerint az ukrán Nemzetbiztonsági és Védelmi Tanács már február 10-én is arra figyelmeztetett, hogy 2021-hez képest megháromszorozódott az Ukrajna elleni orosz hekkertámadások száma. A Politico korábban azt írta, hogy 2022-ben több mint 2000 kibertámadást indítottak ukrán szervezetek ellen.

Orosz hekkerek törhették fel a Medibank ausztrál egészségügyi biztosító adatbázisát az ausztrál rendőrség pénteki bejelentése szerint, amelyben hozzátették, hogy már felvették a kapcsolatot az orosz hatóságokkal is.
Reece Kershaw az ausztrál szövetségi rendőrség részéről elmondta, fényt derítettek az elkövetők személyazonosságára, ám részleteket nem árult el. A sajtótájékoztatón hozzátette, hogy vélhetően ez a hekkercsoport felelős több, a világ más részeiből jelentett nagyobb behatolásokért is.
Az ausztrálok dühösek, és válaszokat akarnak! – fogalmazott Kershaw. Oroszország canberrai nagykövetsége egyelőre nem reagált a bejelentésre.
Ausztrália egyik vezető magán-egészségbiztosítója a héten jelentette be, hogy hekkerek fértek hozzá becslések szerint 9,7 millió jelenlegi és volt ügyfele, köztük Anthony Albanese miniszterelnök személyes adataihoz. A kiberbűnözők csütörtökön 10 millió dollárt (mintegy 4 milliárd forintot) követeltek az ellopott adatokért cserébe.
A korábban nyilvánosságra hozott értesülések szerint a számítógépes behatolók jelentős károkat okoztak, és olyan embereket céloztak meg, akiket kábítószer-függőség, nemi betegség vagy terhességmegszakítás miatt kezelnek – írta az MTI.

A Ferrarit zsarolóvírusos hekkertámadás érte, a szervereiről több mint 7 GB adatot (dokumentumokat, adatlapokat, javítási kézikönyveket és sok egyéb infót) loptak le – ezt állítja a RansomEXX nevű kiberbanda.
A zsarolóvírus egy olyan kártékony szoftver, amely titkosítja az eszközökön lévő adatokat, majd a bűnözők váltságdíjat kérnek az érintettől és azt ígérik, hogy egy adott összegért cserébe visszaállítják a hozzáférést. Ha az „áldozat” nem hajlandó fizetni, a bűnözők kettős zsarolással, azaz az adott cég informatikai infrastruktúrájából ellopott adatok közzétételével fenyegetnek.
Nem ez az első eset, hogy a Ferrari dokumentumaihoz illetéktelenek hozzáfértek. Korábban az Everest nevű kiberbanda egy másik olasz cég, a Speroni rendszerének feltörése révén a Ferrarit érintő dokumentumokat hozott nyilvánosságra.
Ugyanakkor most semmi nem támasztja alá, hogy a hekkertámadás valóban megtörtént. A Ferrari nem rendelkezik bizonyítékkal arra vonatkozóan, hogy rendszereibe betörtek volna és arról adott tájékoztatást, hogy nem volt fennakadás az üzletmenetben és a működésben.
A maranellói cég jelenleg ellenőrzi, hogy a saját vagy a beszállítók informatikai struktúrái érintettek-e, hogy valóban loptak-e anyagot, és ha igen, akkor milyet. Az átvizsgálás befejezése után a vállalat hivatalosan is állást foglal az incidenssel kapcsolatban – írja a La Repubblica.
