Srí Lanka kormánya blokkolta a hozzáférést a közösségi oldalakhoz, és 36 órás kijárási tilalmat hirdetett, miután az országban megmozdulásokra került sor az emelkedő élelmiszer- és üzemanyagárak miatt.
A kijárási tilalom ellenére több tucat ellenzéki képviselő gyűlt össze Szadzsit Premadasza ellenzéki vezető otthona előtt vasárnap, és indult meg a főváros központjában található Függetlenség tér felé. Megmozdulásuknak a hadsereg vetett véget.
Az utcán csak azok tartózkodhatnak, akik írásos hatósági engedéllyel rendelkeznek. A kijárási tilalom szombat alkonyatkor kezdődött, és hétfő reggel hatig tart.
A fővárost, Colombót is magában foglaló Nyugati tartományban 664 embert vettek őrizetbe a kijárási tilalom megsértéséért – mondta el egy rendőrségi tisztségviselő.
A Facebook, a Twitter, az Instagram és a WhatsApp elérhetetlenné vált az országban – írta az internet-hozzáférést monitorozó NetBlocks a Twitteren. A korlátozások célja az újabb tüntetések elkerülése.
A feldühödött tömeg csütörtökön autókat gyújtott fel Gotabaja Radzsapaksza elnök otthonának közelében, valamint összecsapott a rendőrökkel. Legalább két tucat rendőr megsérült. Pénteken őrizetbe vettek 53 tüntetőt. A helyi média szerint elfogtak és megkínoztak öt sajtófotóst. A kormány azt ígérte, kivizsgálja az ügyet.
A tiltakozások átterjedtek az ország más részeire is. A megmozdulások nyomán az elnök rendkívüli állapotot hirdetett pénteken, és utcára vezényelte a katonaságot.
A tüntetők nemcsak az elnök, hanem az országban nagy befolyású Radzsapaksza család hivatalos tisztséggel rendelkező tagjainak távozását is követelték.
A dél-ázsiai szigetország a 74 éve kivívott függetlensége óta nem látott gazdasági nehézségekkel küzd, amelyeket tovább súlyosbított a koronavírus-járvány és a turizmusból származó bevételek elmaradása. Az országban naponta órákig nincs áramszolgáltatás az üzemanyaghiány miatt, és az élelmiszerárak is elszabadultak.

Kijárási tilalmat rendelnek el az ukrán fővárosban, Kijevben kedd este 8 órától csütörtök reggel 7 óráig, miután a városon kívül állomásozó orosz erők több lakóházat is eltaláltak – jelentette be Vitalij Klicsko polgármester az MTI híre szerint. A legutóbbi támadásban két ember meghalt – mondta.
Hozzátette: tilos a városban külön engedély nélkül közlekedni, kivéve, ha valaki az óvóhelyre tart.

A hágai bíróság határozatában a kijárási tilalmat a mozgás és a magánélet szabadságához való jog messzemenő megsértésének nevezte.
A hágai illetékes bíróság a koronavírus-járvány megfékezésére januárban bevezetett éjszakai kijárási tilalom azonnali feloldására szólította fel a holland kormányt. A bíróság keddi határozatában úgy ítélte meg, hogy a vonatkozó törvény értelmében nem volt vészhelyzet a tilalom bevezetésekor.
Egy civil szervezet által benyújtott kereset ügyében született bíróság határozat szerint a holland kormány a kijárási tilalmat a polgári hatóságok rendkívüli hatásköréről szóló törvény alapján vezette be. A törvény lehetővé teszi a kormány számára, hogy rendkívüli állapot okozta kivételes helyzetben a klasszikus jogalkotási folyamat mellőzése mellett léptessen hatályba intézkedéseket.
A bíróság ítéletében azonban azt állapította meg, hogy a törvény értelmében nem áll fenn vészhelyzet Hollandiában, ezért a kormánykoalíció nem jogosult a rendkívüli hatáskörök alkalmazására a szóban forgó korlátozó intézkedés végrehajtását illetően.
A bíróság határozatában a kijárási tilalmat „a mozgás és a magánélet szabadságához való jog messzemenő megsértésének” nevezte, amely véleménye szerint közvetett módon korlátozza a gyülekezés és a tüntetés szabadságának jogát is. Egy ilyen intézkedés meghozatala „nagyon körültekintő döntéshozatali folyamatot igényel” – állapította meg a bíróság.
A holland kormány fellebbezésre készül az ügyben és arra kérte a bíróságot, hogy a fellebbezés meghallgatásáig függessze fel ítéletét.
Hollandia január végén léptetett életbe március elejéig tartó éjszakai kijárási tilalmat, a korlátozó intézkedés este kilenc óra és reggel fél öt közötti időszakra érvényes.

Csütörtöktől ismét kijárási tilalmat vezettek be Montenegróban a koronavírus-járvány miatt, így 21 órától másnap reggel ötig tilos az utcára lépni – közölte reggeli műsorában a montenegrói közszolgálati televízió.
Emellett betiltják a városok közötti közlekedést a hét végén, a legtöbb fertőzöttel rendelkező településeken, Budván és Tivatban pedig betiltották a tömeges rendezvényeket, valamint bezárták a vendéglátóhelyeket és az oktatási-nevelési intézményeket.
A regisztrált koronavírus-fertőzöttek száma csütörtökre Szerbiában 2088-cal 413 943-ra, Koszovóban 307-tel 63 089-re, Észak-Macedóniában 389-cel 95 754-re, Montenegróban 623-mal 66 857-re, Bosznia-Hercegovinában pedig 253-mal 124 749-re növekedett.
A járvány halálos áldozatainak száma Szerbiában az utóbbi 24 órában 14-gyel 4168-ra, Koszovóban néggyel 1532-re, Észak-Macedóniában szintén néggyel 2959-re, Montenegróban kilenccel 861-re, Bosznia-Hercegovinában pedig 19-cel 4843-ra nőtt.

Hollandiában március 2-ig meghosszabbítják az éjszakai kijárási tilalmat, melyet a koronavírus-járvány miatt vezettek be – jelentette be hétfőn a kormány.
Az ország lakói a következő hetekben továbbra is csak nyomós indok alapján hagyhatják el otthonaikat este kilenc óra és reggel fél öt között. A kijárási tilalmat január 23-án rendelték el a koronavírus, illetve fertőzőbb mutációi terjedésének megakadályozására.
Mark Rutte miniszterelnök február 2-án jelentette be, hogy meghosszabbítják a koronavírus-járvány miatt október óta hatályban lévő karantén intézkedések túlnyomó többségét, de akkor még nem született döntés a vitatott éjszakai kijárási tilalom ügyében, amely miatt erőszakos tüntetések is voltak.
Az országban hétfőn újranyithattak az általános iskolák és a napközik, bár többségük a téli időjárás miatt továbbra is zárva tartott.
A koronavírus brit változata Hollandiában jelenleg az újonnan regisztrált esetek mintegy felét teszi ki. A járvány kezdete óta az országban 1 021 941 ember fertőződött meg az új típusú koronavírussal, és 14 541 ember halt meg a Covid-19 betegség szövődményekben.

Hollandiában országszerte zavargások törtek ki vasárnap a koronavírus-járvány terjedése ellen bevezetett kijárási tilalom miatt, több mint 200 embert vettek őrizetbe a hatóságok – írja a Dutchnews holland hírportál.
A beszámoló szerint a rendzavarás Amszterdamban és Eindhovenben kezdődött, ahol tüntető csoportok gyűltek össze annak ellenére, hogy minden fajta csoportos gyülekezést betiltottak a hatóságok. A rendőrség vízágyúkat, lovas rohamosztagot, rendőrkutyákat és könnygázt is bevetett a tiltakozók ellen. A holland televízió csatornák arról számoltak be, hogy Eindhovenben fiatalokból álló bandák tüzeket gyújtottak és üzleteket fosztottak ki.
Más városokban is, este 9 óra körül – a kijárási tilalom kezdetekor – zavargók támadtak a rendőrökre, és kővel dobálták a kórházakat. Több fiatalt huliganizmus vádjával állítottak elő a hatóságok.
Szombaton, a kijárási tilalom első estéjén, a rendbontók egy csoportja felgyújtotta a közép-hollandiai Urk kisváros szabadtéri koronavírus-tesztközpontját, míg a dél-hollandiai Steinben is összetűzésbe torkollott egy százfős illegális rendezvény feloszlatása.
A holland kormány hosszas megfontolás után döntött arról a múlt héten, hogy bevezeti a kijárási tilalmat este fél 9 és reggel fél 5 között, hogy lassítsa a járvány terjedését.

Hollandiai fiatalok egy csoportja felgyújtotta a közép-hollandiai Urk kisváros szabadtéri koronavírus-tesztközpontját, tiltakozásul a szombaton bevezetett kijárási tilalom ellen – írta vasárnap a Dutchnews holland hírportál.
A helyi rendőrség tájékoztatása szerint a fiatalok a város kikötőjében gyűltek össze szombat este 9-kor – fél órával a kijárási tilalom kezdete után – kövekkel és petárdákkal dobálták a rendőröket, így végül a rohamosztagot vetettek be ellenük a hatóságok. Két embert őrizetbe vettek, és büntetéseket róttak ki a résztvevőkre.
Hollandiában a kijárási tilalom első estéjét számos tiltakozás, szabálysértés és garázdaság történt országszerte, a rendőrség beszámolói szerint 25 embert állítottak elő és mintegy 3600 bírságot szabtak ki szabályszegésért. A dél-hollandiai Stein városában is összetűzésbe torkollott egy százfős illegális rendezvény feloszlatása.
