Meghalt egy paraguayi képviselő és további három ember egy repülőgép-balesetben szombaton – közölte a helyi rendőrség.
A repülőgép nem sokkal felszállás után zuhant le, Asunciontól mintegy 180 km-re (112 mérföldre). A balesetben meghalt a kormányon lévő Colorado Party párt törvényhozója, Walter Harms, valamint három férfi, akik a csapatában dolgoztak– számolt be a Reuters.
A rendőrségi jelentés szerint a gép felszállás közben fának ütközött, majd a földre zuhanva lángba borult.
„Mély fájdalommal fogadom a szomorú hírt kollégánk, barátunk és álmainkban testvérünk, Walter Harms haláláról” – mondta Pedro Alliana, Paraguay alelnöke az X közösségi oldalon.

Lezuhant az olasz Frecce Tricolori akrobatikus légicsapat egyik repülőgépe szombaton Torino városa mellett egy gyakorlórepülés közben, egy gyermek életét vesztette – írja az ABC News az olasz médiára hivatkozva.
A repülőgép vagy annak részei a jelentések szerint egy családi autónak csapódtak, és megöltek egy 5 éves kislányt. Egy 9 éves gyermeket és a szüleit égési sérülésekkel ápolták az ANSA olasz hírügynökség szerint. A pilóta katapultált, állítólag ő is égési sérüléseket szenvedett.
Az X-re kikerült videók szerint kilenc repülőgép V alakban közlekedett, amikor az egyik ereszkedni kezdett, majd a földbe csapódott, hatalmas robbanást okozva. Földet érés előtt nem sokkal a pilótának sikerült katapultálnia, végül egy kerítéssel elkerített részen ért földet.
Az ABC News cikke szerint a baleset állítólag a torinói Caselle repülőtérről való felszállás után történt, az északi iparváros közelében. A pilóta állapotáról vagy a baleset okáról egyelőre nincsenek információk.
A Frecce Tricolori Olaszország első számú akrobata pilótacsapata, az olasz légierő része. Jellemzően nemzeti eseményekre hívják meg őket, ahol bonyolultabb akrobatamutatványokat hajtanak végre. Az alakulat vasárnap egy bemutatóra készült, amelyet az olasz légierő 100. évfordulójának alkalmából rendeztek meg.
1988-ban a Frecce Tricolori három repülőgépe összeütközött és a földre zuhant a németországi Ramstein légibázison tartott légi bemutatón, amelyen mintegy 300 ezer ember vett részt. A három pilóta és 67 földön tartózkodó ember meghalt, több száz ember pedig megsérült.

Az Egyesült Királyság, Kanada, Svédország és Ukrajna szerdán pert indított Irán ellen a hágai székhelyű Nemzetközi Bíróságon az ukrán nemzeti légitársaság 752-es járatának 2020 januári lelövése miatt.
Az ukrán légitársaság Teheránból Kijevbe tartó járatát 2020. január 8-án tévedésből lőtte le az iráni légvédelem 176 emberrel a fedélzetén. Többségük iráni és kanadai állampolgár volt.
Irán azzal magyarázta a tévedést, hogy hadereje riadókészültségben volt egy esetleges amerikai támadás miatt, nem sokkal korábban ugyanis Teherán rakétákkal támadott olyan iraki támaszpontokat, ahol amerikai katonák állomásoztak. Egy iráni bíróság idén áprilisban többéves börtönbüntetésre ítélte fegyveres erők az ügyben vétkes tíz tagját.
Az Irán ellen pert indító négy ország azonban „átláthatatlan látszateljárásnak” nevezte az iráni pert, és azt szeretné elérni a hágai bíróságnál, hogy a testület kimondja, Irán jogtalanul lőtte le az ukrán utasszállítót, és kötelezze Teheránt bocsánatkérésre és kárpótlás megfizetésére.
A szerdán közzétett bírósági beadvány szerint az Egyesült Királyság, Kanada, Svédország és Ukrajna azzal érvel, hogy Irán „elmulasztotta megtenni a jogellenes és szándékos bűncselekmények elkövetésének megakadályozására irányuló minden lehetséges intézkedést, és a pártatlan eljárás lefolytatását a nemzetközi joggal összhangban”.

Irán kérelmében egy 2022-es kanadai bírósági ítéletre hivatkozik, amely több mint 80 millió dolláros kártérítést ítélt meg annak hat ember családjának, akik a repülőgép lelövése során vesztették életüket.
„Kanada egy sor jogalkotási, végrehajtási és bírósági intézkedést fogadott el és hajtott végre Iránnal és annak állami szemben, megsértve ezzel nemzetközi kötelezettségeit” – áll bírósághoz benyújtott iráni keresetben.

Lech Kaczynski lengyel elnök, valamint a fedélzeten lévő többi 95 ember elleni merénylet címén kezdeményez eljárást a 2010-es szmolenszki légikatasztrófa ügyében az illetékes minisztériumi vizsgálóbizottság – közölte vasárnap a testület elnöke, Antoni Macierewicz.
A politikus a légikatasztrófa 13. évfordulója alkalmából nyilatkozott a PAP hírügynökségnek. A 2010. április 10-én történt tragédia évfordulója idén húsvét hétfőjére esett, ezért a hivatalos évfordulós megemlékezéseket hat nappal elhalasztották.
Macierewicz bejelentése szerint a bűncselekmény gyanúját megfogalmazó, az ügyészséghez benyújtandó bizottsági jelentés a Lech Kaczynski lengyel elnök ellen elkövetett merényletről, valamint a fedélzeten lévő többi 95 ember meggyilkolásáról szól.
A bizottság által nyert legfontosabb bizonyítóanyag az elnöki repülőgép roncsain talált robbanóanyagok mennyisége, valamint a gép megsemmisítésének (számítógépes) rekonstrukciója – közölte Macierewicz.
A vizsgálóbizottság tavaly áprilisban bemutatott jelentése még nem beszélt kifejezetten merényletről, hanem csak „az orosz fél jogtalan beavatkozásáról”, amely eredményeként az elnök gépe még a levegőben felrobbant.
A robbanószerek jelenlétét a jelentés szerint külföldi laboratóriumokban végzett vizsgálatok is megerősítették, a robbanás folyamatát az amerikai Nemzeti Légiforgalmi Kutatóközpontban (NIAR) összeállított virtuális modellen mutatták be.
Macierewicz vasárnapi nyilatkozata szerint a jelentés végleges változata „egyértelműen megmutatja a szmolenszki bűntett drámájának okait”, és bizonyítja, hogy az orosz fél már 2008 óta készítette a merénylet terveit.
2010. április 10-én a nyugat-oroszországi Szmolenszk közelében lezuhant szovjet típusú, Oroszországban karbantartott Tu-154 repülőgépen utazó lengyel küldöttség a Lengyelország értelmiségi elitjén elkövetett katyni mészárlás 70. évfordulója alkalmából rendezett megemlékezésre tartott.
Varsó többször is felszólította Moszkvát a repülőgép roncsainak visszaszolgáltatására, Oroszország azonban ezt mindeddig nem tette meg, az ügyben máig le nem zárt orosz ügyészségi eljárásra hivatkozva.

Az illetékes holland bíróság távollétükben életfogytig tartó börtönbüntetésre ítélt csütörtökön két orosz és egy oroszbarát ukrán szeparatistát 298 ember halála okozásáért a Malaysia Airlines MH17-es járatának Kelet-Ukrajna felett történt lelövésével kapcsolatban.
A per négy vádlottja – az orosz Igor Girkin, Szergej Dubinszkij és Oleg Pulatov, valamint az ukrán Leonyid Harcsenko – nem volt jelen sem a tárgyalásokon, sem az ítélethirdetésen. Az elítéltek feltehetően Oroszországban tartózkodnak, kiadatásukat valószínűtlennek tartják az illetékes hatóságok.
Oleg Pulatovot, aki jogi képviselőin keresztül a tárgyalásokon ártatlannak vallotta magát, a hágai kerületi bíróság bizonyíték hiányában felmentette.
Girkin, az orosz Szövetségi Biztonsági Szolgálat (FSZB) korábbi ezredese 2014 nyarán a szakadár ukrajnai régió, a DNR „védelmi minisztereként” szolgált.
Dubinszkij, a DNR katonai hírszerző ügynökség vezetője volt, Pulatov az ügynökség egyik alosztályát irányította, az ukrán Harcsenko pedig a felderítő osztag vezetője volt.
„Csak a legszigorúbb büntetés képes megtorolni tettüket, amely oly sok életet oltott ki, és oly sok szenvedést okozott az áldozatok hozzátartozóinak” – jelentette ki Hendrik Steenhuis, a per tárgyalását vezető bíró az ítélet felolvasásakor.
A holland hatóságok korábban megállapították, hogy a repülőgépet egy földi telepítésű, Buk típusú légelhárító rakétával lőtték le, amelyet feltételezhetően a szakadárok területéről – Pervomajszk település mellől, egy mezőről – indítottak el.
A bíróság szerint a vádlottak segítettek megszervezni a rakéta Ukrajnába történő telepítését, tevékenyen hozzájárulva ezzel a fedélzeten tartózkodók halálához, bár nem ők voltak azok, akik a kilövést végrehajtották.
A támadást előkészítő és elkövető mintegy száz további gyanúsított kilétére is bizonyítékok állnak a nemzetközi vizsgálóbizottság rendelkezésre, viszont az még nem tisztázott, hogy parancsra hajtották-e végre a támadást, vagy önállóan cselekedtek – tette hozzá a bíróság.
Az ítéletben a bíróság 16 millió eurós kártérítést ítélt meg az áldozatok hozzátartozóinak, amelyet a holland állam fog kifizetni, amennyiben az elítéltek nem teszik meg. Oroszország mindvégig tagadta, hogy köze lett volna a gép lelövéséhez.
Volodomir Zelenszkij ukrán elnök Twitter-üzenetében üdvözölte és „fontos döntésnek” minősítette az ítéletet. Hozzátette azonban, hogy azok is, akik parancsot adtak a bűncselekmény végrehajtására, bíróság elé álljanak, mivel a büntetlenség érzése újabb és újabb bűncselekményekhez vezet.
„El kell oszlatnunk ezt az illúziót. Minden orosz atrocitásért – akkor és most is – elkerülhetetlenül büntetés jár” – írta üzenetében Zelenszkij.

Az amszterdami Schiphol nemzetközi repülőtér közelében, rendkívüli biztonsági intézkedések mellett, a vádlottak távollétében tartott ítélethirdetésen Hendrik Steenhuis elnöklő bíró hangsúlyozta: 2014 májusától Oroszország teljes ellenőrzést gyakorolt az ukrajnai szakadár „Donyecki Népköztársaság” (DNR) felett, ahonnan azt a rakétát kilőtték, amely a repülőgép fedélzetén tartózkodó mind a 298 utas – köztük 196 holland és 27 ausztrál állampolgár –, valamint a legénység halálát okozta.
A bíró a támadást „összehangolt katonai akciónak nevezte”, és kiemelte: a katasztrófa előkészítésében és végrehajtásában részt vevők közül többen orosz állampolgárságúak voltak, illetve korábban az orosz fegyveres erők kötelékébe tartoztak.
A nyomozás során visszahallgatott telefonbeszélgetések tanúsága szerint a szakadár „Donyecki Népköztársaság” több vezetője, akik tudtak a rakétatámadásról, szoros kapcsolatot ápoltak akkor Oroszországgal.

Közölte továbbá: a bíróság később dönt az üggyel kapcsolatos más jogi kérdésekről, valamint a gyanúsítottak bűnösségéről vagy ártatlanságáról. Emlékeztetett: az ügyben eljáró holland ügyészség életfogytig tartó börtönbüntetést kért a vádlottakra.
A bíró tájékoztatása szerint megállapítást nyert, hogy a repülőgépet megsemmisítő rakéta Kelet-Ukrajnába nem sokkal a támadás előtt érkezett Oroszországból, ahová a Boeing 777-es lelövése után a kilövőállást vissza is vitték. A rakétavető az 53. légvédelmi rakétadandártól, az orosz fegyveres erők Kurszk városában állomásozó egységétől származott – mondta az elnöklő bíró.
Az ügyben eljáró, holland vezetésű – holland, ausztrál, maláj, ukrán és belga összetételű – nemzetközi nyomozócsoport 2019 júniusában közölte, hogy a gyanúsítottak a gépet megsemmisítő, mozgatható föld-levegő rakéta telepítésében vettek részt, tevékenyen hozzájárulva ezzel a fedélzeten tartózkodók halálához.
A katasztrófák vizsgálatában illetékes holland hatóság azt állapította meg, hogy a repülőgépet egy földi telepítésű, Buk típusú légelhárító rakétával lőtték le, amelyet feltételezhetően a szakadárok területéről – Pervomajszk település mellől, egy mezőről – indítottak el. A támadást előkészítő és elkövető mintegy száz további gyanúsított kilétére is bizonyítékok állnak a nemzetközi vizsgálóbizottság rendelkezésre, viszont az még nem tisztázott, hogy parancsra hajtották-e végre a támadást, vagy önállóan cselekedtek – tették hozzá.
