Áprilisban Kína nagyszabású hadgyakorlatokat rendezett Tajvan körül, miután Caj Jing-ven tajvani elnök Los Angelesben találkozott Kevin McCarthyval, az amerikai képviselőház elnökével.

A nemzetközi gyakorlatban az ADIZ légvédelmi azonosító övezeteket olyan államok hozzák létre, amelyek partjait nagy kiterjedésű nyílt víz övezi.
