Újabb iskolai lövöldözésről számolt be az amerikai sajtó kedden. Ezúttal Minneapolis egyik külvárosi iskolája előtt történt a tragédia, amely során két diák volt az áldozat, egyikük életét vesztette.
A támadás egy speciális igényű embereknek fenntartott iskola épülete előtt történt Minnesota egyik külvárosában, Richfieldben.

A kiérkező rendőrök a két lelőtt diákot az iskolában találták meg. A mentőegységek a Hennepin Healthcare kórházba szállították őket, ahol egyikük, a 15 éves Jamari Rice életét már nem tudták megmenteni. A másik diák állapota továbbra is kritikus.
A két gyanúsított elmenekült a helyszínről, azonban a rendőrség a lövöldözés után házkutatást hajtott végre két különböző helyszínen Minneapolisban, két embert pedig őrizetbe is vett. Egy fegyvert találtak, de egyelőre nem világos, hogy azt használták-e a lövöldözésben. A rendőrség szerint a két személy az ügy kizárólagos gyanúsítottja.
Tim Walz minnesotai kormányzó sajnálatát és együttérzését fejezte ki a történtekkel kapcsolatban:

Spirit Airlines flight NK951 attempting to land in Haitian capital Port-au-Prince has been struck by gunfire, forcing it to be diverted to the Dominican Republic.
At least one person, a flight attendant, was grazed by a bullet, a source said.
Lövöldözés tört ki szombaton a kora hajnali órákban Minneapolis belvárosában, a rendőrség tájékoztatása szerint két ember meghalt, és nyolcan megsebesültek.
Az incidens helyi idő szerint hajnali három óra előtt történt. A KMSP helyi televízió idézte John Elder rendőrségi szóvivőt, aki szerint két férfi a tömegben összeszólalkozott egymással, fegyvert rántott, és lövöldözni kezdett.
A helyi rendőrség közölte a Twitteren, hogy a tíz meglőtt ember közül öt férfi és öt nő. Két férfi meghalt, és egy harmadikat válságos állapotban ápolnak a kórházban. A többi hét sebesült állapota nem életveszélyes. Az áldozatok mind felnőttek.
A lövöldözéssel összefüggésben egyelőre senkit sem vettek őrizetbe. A rendőrség szerint jelen pillanatban a minneapolisiak nincsenek veszélyben, de azért kérte őket, hogy ne tartózkodjanak azon a környéken, ahol a lövöldözés történt.

Pénteken Minneapolis városa megállapodásra jutott a rendőrök által meggyilkolt George Floyd családjával a család által elindított polgári perben – írja az AP amerikai hírügynökség.
A megállapodás szerint minneapolisi vezetés 27 millió dollár (átszámítva több mint nyolcmilliárd forint) kártérítést fog fizetni a 47 éves férfi haláláért.
A Floyd-család jogi képviselője, Ben Crump sajtótájékoztatóján elmondta, hogy eddig ez a legnagyobb összeg, amelyet tárgyalás előtti megállapodás nyomán kifizetnek egy polgári perben. Erős üzenetet közvetít arról, hogy a feketék élete igenis számít és, hogy a nem fehér bőrűek elleni rendőri brutalitásnak véget kell vetni – emelte ki az ügyvéd.

Nem messze az országos, sőt nemzetközi tüntetéssorozatot kiváltó George Floyd-gyilkosság helyszínétől lövöldözés történt Minneapolisban, az utcán. Egy 40 éves férfi fegyverrel támadt az őt igazoltató rendőrre egy közúti ellenőrzés során, aki viszonozta a tüzet.
A városi rendőrkapitány sajtótájékoztatóján elmondta, hogy egy bűncselekménnyel gyanúsított férfit állítottak le a rendőrök szerda este a város déli részén. Az igazoltatás megkezdése előtt az autós fegyvert fogott és rálőtt a rendőrre, aki halálosan megsebesítette a támadót. Az autóban ülő nő nem sérült meg.
Ez volt az első halálos kimenetelű rendőri beavatkozás a városban a májusi George Floyd-gyilkosság óta, amely után több hónapig tartó, több helyen zavargásokba fajuló tüntetésekre került sor.

Egy ember meghalt, 11-en megsérültek, amikor lövöldözés tört ki Minneapolisban. Az eset alig két héttel azután történt, hogy a helyi önkormányzat bejelentette: felszámolja, majd átszervezés után újraépíti a rendőrséget, miután intézkedés közben meghalt egy afroamerikai férfi – hangzott el az M1 Híradójában.
Nagy erőkkel vonult ki a minneapolisi rendőrség egy lövöldözés helyszínére vasárnap hajnalban. Szemtanúk szerint két fegyveres csoport lőtt egymásra, a tűzharcban összesen tizenkét embert ért találat. A sebesültek egyike azóta életét vesztette, a többiek állapota stabil.
A fegyveresek elmenekültek
„Valamivel hajnali fél egy után kaptunk bejelentést arról, hogy lövések dördültek a környéken. Többen hívták a 911-et, a beérkezett információk alapján a fegyveresek észak felé menekültek, majd szétszóródtak” – nyilatkozta a helyszínre kiérkező egyik járőr.
Az eset alig két héttel azután történt, hogy a helyi önkormányzat bejelentette: felszámolja, majd átszervezés után újraépíti a rendőrséget.
Az amerikai nagyváros lakói ugyanis május vége óta tiltakoztak a rendfenntartó erők ellen, miután egy hatósági intézkedés közben egy afroamerikai férfi meghalt.
Egy nappal korábban Seattle belvárosában is lövöldözés tört ki. Két ember megsebesült. Egyikük, egy 19 éves fiú a kórházban belehalt sérüléseibe. A helyi hatóságok hiába próbálták megközelíteni az áldozatokat, a helyiek feltartóztatták őket.
A rendőrséget sem engedik be az elbarikádozott területre
Az eset ugyanis azon a környéken történt, amelyet két hete zártak le a helyi rendőrség ellen tüntetők, a hatósági túlkapások elleni tiltakozásként. Az elbarikádozott területről a rendőröket is kizárták, és még a lövöldözés után sem engedték be őket. A tüntetők azt követelték, hogy dobják el a fegyvereiket, a rendőrautókat pedig szorosan körbeállták.
A rendőrség állásfoglalásában erőszakos tömegnek nevezte a tiltakozókat, akik megakadályozták a rendvédelmi szervek tagjait, hogy biztonságosan hozzáférhessenek az áldozatokhoz. Szakértők ezzel kapcsolatban megjegyezték: az amerikai rendőrség tekintélye meggyengült az elmúlt időszakban, amelyet a nagyvárosok vezetése sok helyen azzal súlyosbít, hogy csökkenti a rendfenntartó erők költségvetését.

Він відмовився. Тоді помічник нардепа став грубити, бити по його машині, а коли водій вийшов, вдарив його декілька разів і вихопив пістолет.
