A jelentés szerint a konfliktus azzal kezdődött, hogy az ukrán fegyveres erők vezérkarának egyik alkalmazottja rokonával a Kazka lakóparkban részegen balesetet okozott. A létesítmény biztonsági őrei megpróbálták megnyugtatni a férfit, de az nem engedelmeskedett, és fenyegette az őröket. A videó szerint egy lövést adott le a szolgálati fegyveréből. A golyó kis híján eltalálta a lakópark bejáratánál játszó gyerekeket.
Az eset kapcsán vasárnap reggel Olekszij Reznyikov védelmi miniszter a Facebook-oldalán azt írta: „a parancsomra belső vizsgálat indult annak azon incidens valamennyi körülményének tisztázására, amely során az ukrán fegyveres erők vezérkarának tisztje – az egyik osztály vezetője – olyan cselekményeket követett el, amelyek nem csak fegyelmi, hanem bűncselekménynek is minősülnek.”
A miniszter jelezte, hogy már létrehoztak egy vizsgáló bizottságot, amelynek élén az ukrán fegyveres erők főparancsnok-helyettese, Jevhenyij Mojszjuk altábornagy áll. A nyomozás idejére a tisztet felfüggesztették a szolgálatából – tette hozzá. „Ha bebizonyosodik az a tény, hogy a tiszt cselekménye súlyos következményekkel, nevezetesen gyermekek életének és egészségének veszélyeztetésével fenyegetett, mindent megteszünk a méltányos büntetés érdekében” – szögezte le Olekszij Reznyikov.

Olekszij Reznyikov ukrán védelmi miniszter szerdán bejelentette, hogy az ukrán fegyveres erők új, török gyártmányú Bayraktar TB2 típusú fegyveres drónokat kaptak, miután a háború még mindig nem ért véget, az orosz hadsereg pedig egyre több ukrán várost támad meg, ahol civilek is vannak.
“Megérkeztek az új Bayraktarok, és készen állnak a harcra” – osztotta meg hivatalos Facebook-oldalán az ukrán védelmi miniszter. Habár Törökország egyelőre nem kívánta kommentálni a védelmi miniszter bejelentését, Reznyikov azt is közölte, hogy Kijev új Stinger és Javelin rakétákat fog kapni külföldi szövetségeseitől.
Fontos megjegyezni, hogy Ukrajna és Törökország még a háború előtt több megállapodást is kötött, köztük egy olyat, mely szerint a török Baykar dróngyártó vállalat az ukrajnai gyártási kapacitásának bővítését tervezi.

Az oroszok intenzív tűz alá vették az ukrán csapatokat keleten, a katonai irányító központokat és repülőtereket az ország más régióiban, de a helyzet ellenőrzés alatt van – közölte Olekszij Reznyikov védelmi miniszter a Facebook-on csütörtökön, adta hírül a Levij Bereg hírportál.
Reznyikov állítása szerint az ukrán hadsereg védekezik és szembeszáll az orosz csapatokkal. „Katonáink mindent megtesznek azért, hogy megvédjen önöket, és ne adjanak esélyt az agresszornak az áttörésre” – írta. Hozzátette, ismételten nyugalomra szólít mindenkit. Azt kérte, hogy lehetőség szerint mindenki maradjon otthon.
A védelmi miniszter szerint a helyzet ellenőrzés alatt áll, de a hadseregnek az állampolgárok minden korábbinál nagyobb támogatására van szüksége. „Az önök nyugalma és határozottsága most a legjobb támogatás” – mutatott rá. „A hatóságok operatívan tájékoztatnak a helyzetről” – állította Olekszij Reznyikov.
