A képviselő arra szólította fel a rendőrséget és az Ukrán Biztonsági Szolgálatot (SZBU), hogy állapítsa meg mindegyik demonstráló diák személyazonosságát, és deportálja őket Ukrajnából. „Követelem a rendőrségtől és az SZBU-tól, hogy azonosítsák az akcióban részt vett személyeket és deportálják őket Ukrajnából. Az útra adjanak nekik egy csomag szárított kenyeret és egy-egy sárga mellényt emlékbe” – tanácsolta a hatóságoknak Bobko.

A magát a helyi Ku Klux Klán vezetőjeként hirdető Harry Rogers egy richmondi Black Lives Matter tüntetőcsoportba hajtott autójával.
A Ku Klux Klán egy ma is létező rasszista csoport, ők azok, akik régebben rendszeresen, most ritkábban fehér, csúcsos csuklyát húznak a fejükre (hogy ne lehessen őket felismerni) és úgy bántalmaznak és ölnek bárkit, akinek a bőrszíne nem fehér.
A mostani támadásban nem halt meg senki, sőt, súlyos sérülés sem történt, csak egy valaki igényelt egészségügyi ellátást a tüntetésen, pedig több ezren vettek részt. Ez a demonstráció is a feketéket érő rendőri brutalitás ellen zajlott, mint oly sok másik is az Egyesült Államokban, amióta májusban meghalt George Floyd, amikor letartóztatása közben percekig térdelt a nyakán egy minnesotai rendőr.
A Guardian a richmondi WTVR helyi tévécsatorna híre alapján számol be arról, hogy Rogers belehajtott a tömegbe, és a helyi ügyész szerint a hatóságok vizsgálják, hogy ezzel megvalósult-e a gyűlöletbűncselekmény bűntette.

Pénteken ismét több ezren vonultak az utcára Bécsben, hogy tiltakozzanak a rasszizmus és a rendőri erőszak ellen.
A rendőrség becslése szerint nagyjából 8500-an gyűltek össze az osztrák fővárosban, az egyesült államokbeli eseményekre reagáló, #Blacklivesmattervienna címmel meghirdetett eseményre.
A felvonulás az amerikai nagykövetség elől indult, és a Fogadalmi templom mögötti parkban ért véget.
„Mi, feketék szolidárisak vagyunk (amerikai társainkkal), bárhol is legyünk a világban” – mondta az egyik szervező, Imoan Kinshasa.
„Bármelyikünk járhatott volna úgy, ahogy George Floyd” – tette hozzá arra a minneapolisi fekete férfira utalva, aki egy rendőri intézkedés eredményeként megfulladt. George Floyd halála után zavargások törtek ki szerte az Egyesült Államokban, és a rasszizmus elleni tiltakozó megmozdulásokat szerveztek az egész világon.
Csütörtök este nagyjából 50 ezren vettek részt Bécsben a rasszizmus ellen meghirdetett nagygyűlésen.
