Fotó: ROMAIN RIXHON Sophie Delettre, Spa polgármestere a televíziónak elmondta, hogy a Németországból érkezett repülőgép fiatal pilótája elvétette a leszállást, majd sikertelen átstartolást követően csapódott földnek a Spa-Malchamps repülőtér melletti úton, ahol egy autót elsodort. A lángba borult repülőgép és a személyautó teljesen kiégett. A délelőtti órákban megkísérelt leszállást erős szél nehezítette – emelte ki.
Az RTBF belga közszolgálati rádió és televízió internetes oldalán azt közölte, hogy két ember, a repülőgép pilótája és utasa halálát erősítették meg. Az autó sofőrje, aki a gépjármű közelében tartózkodott, nem szenvedett sérüléseket.
Részleteket közölve azt írták: a repülőgép az elhibázott leszállást követően a repülőtértől alig 100 méterre, a Spa és Francorchamps közötti főút szélén csapódott a földbe. Az érintett országutat mindkét irányban lezárták a forgalom elől, a helyszínen rendőrök és tűzoltók tevékenykednek. Jelen vannak továbbá a környezetvédelmi hatóságok emberei is, hogy elkerüljék a közeli gyógyfürdő vízgyűjtőinek szennyezését – tájékoztattak.
A La Libre Belgique című francia nyelvű belga napilap azt írta, az 1992-ben született, német állampolgárságú pilóta mellett a szintén szerencsétlenül járt utas személyazonosságát még nem sikerült megállapítani.

Az Egyesült Államok légierejének különleges műveleti parancsnoksága közölte, hogy az áldozatok maradványainak kiemelése és azonosítása folyamatban van.
Az Ospreyk az amerikai légierőnél, haditengerészetnél és tengerészgyalogságnál rendszeresített hibrid légijárművek, amelyek a helikopterhez hasonlóan, függőleges irányban képesek fel- és leszállni, ugyanakkor a légcsavar elforgatásával, a helikopternél jóval nagyobb sebességgel, repülőgép módjára tudnak közlekedni.
Augusztusban Ausztrália északi partjainál járt szerencsétlenül egy amerikai V-22 Osprey, amely katonákat szállított egy hadgyakorlatra. A balesetben három tengerészgyalogos meghalt. Ugyanez a típusú repülőgép zuhant a tengerbe szintén Japánban 2016-ban. Akkor az Egyesült Államok hadserege ideiglenesen le is állította a helikopterek és a légcsavaros repülőgépek tulajdonságait kombináló gép használatát, amely egyes bírálatok szerint nem elég biztonságos.
A legsúlyosabb Osprey baleset pedig huszonhárom éve, 2000 áprilisában történt, akkor egy arizonai hadgyakorlat során zuhant le egy ilyen típusú gép, a balesetben 19 tengerészgyalogos vesztette életét.

A vadászgépnek engedélyezték, hogy átlépje a hangsebességet, ezért Washingtonban vasárnap délután hangrobbanás volt hallható. A kisrepülő végül semmire nem reagált, és Virginia államban lezuhant.
A pilóta nem válaszolt, és a gép végül a George Washington nemzeti parknál, Virginia államban lezuhant.
„Az észak-amerikai légtérvédelem, a NORAD az utolsó pillanatig próbált kapcsolatban lépni a pilótával” – tudatta a Pentagon.

Lezuhant egy holland jelzésű kisrepülőgép Horvátország északnyugati részén, a Dinári-hegység egyik hegyláncán, a balesetben három ember halt meg – közölte a károlyvárosi (Karlovac) rendőrség vasárnap.
Az eset még szombaton történt, de a nehéz terepviszonyok miatt a mentőegységek csak nehezen tudták megközelíteni a baleset helyszínét. Hivatalos információkat ezért csak vasárnap közöltek a hatóságok.
Danko Petrin légvédelmi vizsgálatvezető elmondta: a repülőgép összeroncsolódott a földbe csapódás következtében, majd kigyulladt és teljesen kiégett. A pilóta és a két utas a helyszínen életét vesztette.
„Még várjuk, hogy légiforgalmi irányítás a rendelkezésünkre bocsássa a radaradatokat és a felvételeket a pilótával folytatott beszélgetésről” – hangsúlyozta. Hozzátette: csak ezután kaphatnak teljes képet arról, illetve választ arra a kérdésre, hogy mi, és miért történ valójában.
Elutasította azokat a feltételezéseket, hogy a szerencsétlenség oka a rossz időjárás volt. A rossz időjárási viszonyok nem jelentik automatikusan, hogy amiatt zuhant le a gép – mutatott rá.
Petrin megerősítette, hogy egy holland jelzésű Cirrus 20 típusú kisrepülőgépről van szó, amelyen a repülési terv szerint három holland állampolgár tartózkodott. A boncolás választ ad majd mindhárom áldozatok kilétére, haláluk pontos idejére és okára – húzta alá.

Több mint száz fővel a fedélzetén zuhant le egy utasszállító Miamiban kedden, miután leszállás közben meghibásodott a futóműve – írja a Daily Mail.
A gép futómű nélkül csúszott végig a kifutópályán, eltalálta a repülésirányító tornyot, majd kigyulladt. A fedélzeten 126 utas és a 11 fős személyzet tartózkodott, három sérültet kórházba szállítottak.
A Red Air légitársaságot tavaly alapították a Dominikai Köztársaságban. A Szövetségi Légügyi Hivatal szerint összeomlott a gép futóműve.
„Ide oda csúszott a gép, olyan volt, mintha az összes ablak egyszerre akarna betörni. Utána mindenki felpattant, és futni kezdett, mert kigyulladt a gép” – mondta az egyik utas.
A hajmeresztő landolásról több felvétel is készült, melyeken látszik, hogy az ezüstszínű repülőgép orra darabokra törik, miközben a bal szárny lángokba borul. Miután a roncs megállt, az utasok kétségbeesetten igyekeztek elhagyni a fedélzetet.
A tűzoltók percek alatt a helyszínre értek és azonnal elkezdték a lángok oltását. Az egyik utas elmondta, hogy a pánikba esett emberek hamar megnyugodtak, amikor látták, hogy a tűzoltók és rendőrök néhány perc alatt a helyszínre érkeztek, és azonnal megkezdték a mentési munkálatokat.
„Mindenki pánikba esett. Szörnyű élmény volt, de mint mondta, már biztonságban érzem magam. Egy perc alatt történt minden, de utána az ablakon keresztül már láttuk is a hatóságokat” – emlékezett vissza az utas.

Egy McDonnell Douglas MD-87-es kedden 21 emberrel a fedélzetén indult útnak Texasban, a Houston Executive repülőtérről tartott Bostonba. Azonban nem tudott felszállni, ezért a kifutó végén tovább sodródott egy mezőre, ahol kigyulladt.
A balesetnek mindössze két könnyebb sérültje volt, őket kórházba szállították. A gépen 18 utas volt, valamint a legénység három tagja.
