Egy öngyilkos merénylő robbantott fel egy robbanószerkezetet egy szomáliai katonai kiképzőtábor közelében, ezzel legalább öt embert megölt és 11 másikat megsebesített – írja az Al Jazeera az SONNA hírügynökségre hivatkozva.
A szombaton a szomáliai fővárosban, Mogadishuban lévő táborban elkövetett merényletet az al-Shabaab fegyveres csoport vállalta magára. Ez mindössze egy héttel követte a fővárosban történt kettős robbantást, amely legalább 116 halálos áldozatot szedett.
A SONNA Twitter-bejegyzésben jelentette be a halálos áldozatok számát, Odowaa Yusuf Rageh szomáliai nemzeti hadseregfőnökre hivatkozva.
A SONNA szerint a támadás a tábor bejáratánál történt, és idézte Ragehet, aki szerint a szomáliai csapatok „megakadályozták a merénylőt” abban, hogy elérje célját.
Korábban Adan Yare, egy másik katonai tisztviselő az AFP hírügynökségnek azt mondta, hogy a támadó a hadsereg újoncai számára létrehozott kiképzőtábort vette célba, és mind a civilek, mind az újoncok között voltak áldozatok.
Az al-Shabaab, az al-Kaidával szövetséges fegyveres csoport, amely több mint egy évtizede harcol Szomáliában. Az ország központi kormányának megdöntésére törekszik, és az iszlám törvények szigorú értelmezésén alapuló saját uralmat akar létrehozni.

Út mentén elhelyezett pokolgép robbant Afganisztán északi részén egy egyetemi oktatókat szállító autóbusz mellett. Három utas meghalt, tizenöt másik megsebesült – közölte a rendőrségre hivatkozva az MTI.
Az incidens Parvan tartomány székhelyén, Csarikarban történt. Az autóbuszon az al-Biruni egyetem oktatói utaztak – közölte Szálim Núri, a tartományi rendőrség szóvivője. A sebesültek közül többek állapota válságos.
Eddig egyetlen szervezet sem vállalta magára a robbantás elkövetését.
Afganisztánban az utóbbi hónapokban út mentén elhelyezett, járművekre tapasztott mágneses pokolgépekkel, illetve más módon támadtak a biztonsági erők tagjaira, bírákra, kormányhivatalnokokra, civil szervezetek aktivistáira és újságírókra.
A kormány rendszerint a szunnita iszlamista tálibokat okolja ezekért a támadásokért, de a lázadók tagadják, hogy közük lenne a merényletekhez.
Az erőszak jelentősen fokozódott, amióta Washington a múlt hónapban bejelentette, hogy szeptember 11-ig kivonja csapatait Afganisztánból.

Egy aradi szupermarket parkolójában felrobbant szombat reggel egy autó, melyben életét vesztette Ioan Crisan ismert helyi üzletember – közölte a Maszol erdélyi hírportál. Arról is beszámolt a portál a román rendőrségre hivatkozva, hogy nem kizárt az idegenkezűség, ezért az autórobbantást már a Román Hírszerző Szolgálat (SRI) is vizsgálja.

Afganisztán fővárosának síiták által lakott negyedében, egy iskola mellett robbanás történt május 8-án.
A CNA a cikkében már ötven halálos áldozatról ír, miközben a tálibok tagadták, hogy ők állnának a véres támadás mögött. Az elmúlt több mint egy évet tekintve a szombati robbantások voltak a leghalálosabbak Kabulban, ami rendszeres célpontja az iszlamista fegyvereseknek.
A merényletekre akkor került sor, amikor az Egyesült Államok folytatja a kivonulást Afganisztánból, mely összesen 2500 katonát érint. A tálibok és az afgánok még mindig nem tudtak megállapodni egymással a békéről.
A legutóbbi robbantások kapcsán kiderült, hogy először egy autóbomba robbant fel a Sayed Al-Shuhada iskola előtt, majd amikor a diákok pánikszerűen kirohantak az épületből, két további szerkezetet élesítettek.
Több mint 100-an sérültek meg a robbantásokban, és az áldozatok többsége diáklány volt. A rokonok vasárnap megkezdték az áldozatok temetési szertartásait, a város pedig gyászba borult a fiatal áldozatok miatt.
A hivatalosan jelentett kétszerese is lehet a koronavírus áldozatainak száma egy jelentés szerint
Egyelőre egy csoport sem vállalta magára a támadást, de a tálibokat teszik felelőssé, akik továbbra is tagadják a robbantásokat. Az elnök, Ashraf Ghani elmondta, ennek a kegyetlen csoportnak nincs elég ereje ahhoz, hogy a harcmezőn szálljon harcba a biztonsági erőkkel, és inkább brutális, barbár módszerekhez folyamodnak, miközben közintézményeknél és iskoláknál hajtanak végre támadásokat.
A felkelők tagadják a támadásokat, és kitartanak amellett, hogy tavaly február óta nem hajtottak végre merényletet Kabulban, amikor megállapodást kötöttek erről Amerikával. A csoport azonban gyakorlatilag napi szinten csap össze az afgán erőkkel.
A tálibokkal való megállapodás értelmében Amerikának május 1-ig kellett volna kivonnia az embereit az országból, de Washington úgy döntött, hogy szeptember 11. lesz az új dátum, ami feldühítette a felkelőket.
Tavaly májusban például egy fegyveres csoport egy kórházat támadott meg a környéken, ami 25 halálos áldozatot követelt, köztük 16 édesanyával, akik akkor hozták világra gyermekeiket.

A kormányellenes tálib mozgalom rövid időn belül jelezte, hogy ők tervelték ki, és hajtották végre a támadást.
Az afgán haderő legalább nyolc katonája életét vesztette egy kelet-afganisztáni támaszpontnál végrehajtott öngyilkos merényletben – közölték hivatalos forrásból.
A merényletet egy robbanószerrel megrakott, Humvee típusú katonai gépjárművel követték el Nangarhar tartományban. A kormányellenes tálib mozgalom rövid időn belül jelezte, hogy ők tervelték ki, és hajtották végre a támadást. A tálibok megsokszorozták merényleteiket szerte Afganisztánban azóta, hogy szeptemberben a katari fővárosban, Dohában megkezdődtek a béketárgyalások az afgán kormánnyal. Megfigyelők szerint a megbeszélések igencsak vontatottan haladnak.
Az Egyesült Államok 2020. február végén megállapodott a tálib mozgalommal az Afganisztánban állomásozó amerikai haderő ütemezett kivonulásáról. A tervek szerint május közepéig minden külföldi katona elhagyná Afganisztánt, ahová New York és Washington elleni 2001. szeptember 11-i terrortámadások után vonultak be az Egyesült Államok és NATO-szövetségeseinek erői.
Csütörtökön azonban Washingtonban bejelentették, hogy a tíz napja hivatalba lépett amerikai elnök, Joe Biden kormányzata felülvizsgálná a tálibokkal aláírt megállapodást. Az Egyesült Államok és szövetségesei szerint a tálibok nem teljesítették a megállapodásban vállalt kötelezettségeiket, többek között azt, hogy mérséklik az erőszakot, megszakítják a kapcsolatot más terrorszervezetekkel, és lényegi előrehaladást érnek el az afgán kormánnyal zajló tárgyalásokon.
A tálibok katari képviseletének vezetője, Ser Mohammed Abbász Sztanikzai ugyanakkor pénteken, moszkvai tárgyalásai után kijelentette: a tálibok számítanak Oroszország segítségére abban, hogy mozgalmuk lekerüljön az ENSZ terrorszervezeteket nyilvántartó listájáról.

A rendőrök gyors és hatékony beavatkozása nélkül több áldozata is lehetett volna a karácsonyi robbantásnak, melynek már az elkövetőjét is ismerhetjük. Az FBI napok alatt felgöngyölítette az ügyet, bár lehetséges, hogy az indítékra soha nem derül fény.
A péntek reggeli robbantásban összesen heten sérültek meg, de egyikőjük sem súlyosan. A sérültek között lehet az a rendőr is, aki egészen közel volt a felrobbant lakóautóhoz, amiben a robbantó tartózkodott.
Az elkövető azonnal meghalt, és csak a maradványait találták meg. Az igazságügyi szakértők által begyűjtött DNS-minták segítettek abban, hogy azonosítani tudják a magányos elkövetőt, aki nem volt terrorista, és valószínűleg egy szélsőséges csoporthoz sem tartozott.
Korábban már nem egy felvételt láthattunk a robbanásról. A helyi rendőrség ezúttal az egyik legközelebbi felvételt tette közzé, melyen az is látható, hogy a detonáció 6 óra 29 perckor és 19 másodperckor következett be.

Az egyik rendőr nyugodtan sétálgatott, nem messze a bombával megrakott lakóautótól, ami hangüzenetekkel hívta fel magára a figyelmet, és figyelmeztette az embereket, hogy 15 percen belül fel fog robbanni.

Egy helyi lakos, Anthony Quinn Warner röpítette levegőbe az egyesült államokbeli Nashville-ben két napja felrobbant lakókocsit, a férfi a detonációban életét vesztette – közölte vasárnap a nyomozást vezető kerületi ügyész, Donald Cochran az MTI tudósítása szerint.
A hatóságok szerint a detonáció idején Warner a helyszínen volt, ezért életét vesztette, amit DNS-vizsgálattal állapítottak meg. Douglas Korneski FBI-ügynökszerint nincs arra utaló jel, hogy Warneren kívül másoknak is köze lett volna a robbantáshoz.
A robbantó indítékai egyelőre nem ismertek, így a hatóságok arról sem foglaltak állást, hogy az eset belföldi terrorizmusnak minősíthető-e.
A robbantóról egyelőre annyit derített ki az amerikai sajtó, hogy Warner elektronikai eszközökkel és riasztórendszerekkel, illetve számítástechnikával is foglalkozott.
Nashville belvárosában karácsonykor, péntek hajnalban robbant fel egy parkoló lakóautó. A gépkocsiból a detonációt megelőzően bombára és a helyi lakosok evakuálásának szükségességére figyelmeztető hangfelvételt lehetett hallani, és közben zene szólt. A rendőrök ezért gyorsan elkezdték a környék kiürítését, és kihívták a tűzszerészeket. A lakóautó azonban felrobbant, még mielőtt a tűzszerészek a helyszínre érkeztek volna. A detonációban három ember megsebesült.
Kilenc, közelben parkoló autó kigyulladt, és a környéken több tucatnyi háznak betört az ablaka, negyvenegy épületben keletkeztek károk, emellett több fát is kidöntött a detonáció. A robbanásban megrongálódott az AT&T amerikai távközlési vállalat telefonközpontja, ami fennakadásokat okozott a mobil-, valamint a vezetékes telefonszolgáltatásban Tennessee, Kentucky és Alabama államban is.
