Szombat délben ismét lövöldözés volt Jeruzsálemben. Legalább ketten megsebesültek, az elkövető egy 13 éves palesztin fiú az izraeli hatóságok közlése szerint.
A támadásban egy 47 éves férfit és 23 éves fiát érte találat. Eszméletüknél voltak, mikor kórházba szállították őket. A mentők tájékoztatása szerint közepesen súlyos és súlyos sebesülést szenvedtek.
A rendőrség lelőtte a támadót, aki a közlések szerint egy 13 éves palesztin származású fiú volt. A helyszínt a kiérkező sürgősségi ellátás és biztonsági erők biztosították. A rendőrség szóvivője terrortámadásnak nevezte a történteket.

Izraeli rakétacsapás érte pénteken a szíriai főváros, Damaszkusz környékét, a támadásban három szíriai katona meghalt, és heten megsebesültek – közölte a szíriai állami média a hadsereg hajnali közleményére hivatkozva.
A szíriai légvédelemnek sikerült néhány izraeli rakétát elfognia, amelyeket a Golan-fennsíkról indított az izraeli hadsereg röviddel éjfél után. A támadás anyagi károkat is okozott.
Izrael az elmúlt években már több száz hasonló légicsapást hajtott végre a szíriai kormányerők és az Irán támogatását élvező síita szövetségeseik hadállásai ellen, ám az izraeli hadsereg rendszerint nem kommentálja az ezekről szóló híradásokat.

Mintegy kétezer hektáron ég egy erdő a szlovéniai Karsztvidéken, az olasz határ közelében.
A térségében már vasárnap óta küzdenek kisebb tüzekkel, de szerdán egy minden eddiginél erősebb erdőtűz ütött ki az olasz határ közelében lévő területen.
Öt tűzoltó megsebesült a tűzoltásban, de a hatóságok egyelőre nem tudnak halálos áldozatról. Négy, határ menti falut viszont teljesen ki kellett üríteni a tűz miatt. Az oltáshoz az olaszok, horvátok és osztrákok is segítséget ajánlottak a szlovéneknek. Sikerült lokalizálni, de még nincs vége. Csütörtök hajnalig a szlovének szerint a tüzet sikerült lokalizálni, azonban napközben az előrejelzések szerint felerősödik majd a szél, és ebben az esetben tovább terjedhetnek a lángok. Srecko Sestan, a szlovén katasztrófavédelem parancsnoka azt mondta, hogy az 1000 tűzoltó mellett 300 civil önkéntes is segédkezett az oltásban, és szükség esetén újabb egységeket vonnak be az oltásba, beleértve a katonaságot is. Hozzátette azt is, hogy ez már a legnagyobb tűz Szlovénia történetében. Hasonló kijelentést tett Marjan Sarec védelmi miniszter is, bár ő csak annyit mondott, hogy az utóbbi 20 évben volt ez a legsúlyosabb eset. A horvát Index szerint még az onnan délre található Isztriai-félszigeten is lehetett látni a füstöt, valamint a levegő minőségének romlása – amelyet szintén a tűz eredményezett – is kimutatható volt a félszigeten. A Fatimíja mecsetben elkövetett pénteki robbantásnak legalább 47 halottja és 70 sebesültje van – közölte Hafíz Sajíd, a tálibok kandahári kulturális és tájékoztatási ügyekért felelős hivatalának vezetője.
Egy héttel ezelőtt az észak-afganisztáni Kunduz egyik síita mecsetében követtek el robbantásos merényletet, a támadásnak, amelyet szintén az Iszlám Állam terrorszervezet vállalt magára, mintegy 50 halálos áldozata volt.

Legalább 16 ember meghalt és 32 megsérült, miután robbanás történt egy síita mecsetben a pénteki ima alatt az afganisztáni Kandahár városában.
A Fatemieh mecset belsejéből készült képeken törött ablakok és a földön fekvő holttestek láthatók, miközben a hívők próbálnak segíteni egymásnak. A robbanás oka egyelőre nem tisztázott, de öngyilkos merényletre gyanakodnak.
Egy szemtanú az AFP-nek elmondta, hogy három robbanást hallott – a főbejáratnál, ahol a hívők mosakodnak, és egy harmadik robbanást. A mecset a robbanás idején tele volt emberekkel, és legalább 15 mentőautó volt a helyszínen.
