Lysak szerint csaknem egy tucat többemeletes épület, öt magánház és egy melléképület rongálódott meg a városban. Emellett két oktatási intézmény, több kávézó és üzlet, három közigazgatási épület és egy gyógyszertár. Megrongálódtak az autók és az elektromos vezetékek is.

Amerikai katonák is megsebesültek Irakban, amikor rakétatámadás érte bázisukat – közölték amerikai katonai illetékesek szombaton.
Az amerikai Központi Parancsnokság (CENTCOM) tájékoztatása szerint a hadsereg néhány tagját „traumás agysérüléssel” vizsgálják. A támadással kapcsolatban azt írták, hogy több ballisztikus és más típusú rakéta vette célba az Al-Aszad légitámaszpontot, de az eszközök közül csak néhány csapódott be, a többségét sikerült elfogni.
A támadás elkövetőjeként az iraki Iszlám Ellenállás nevű, Irán által támogatott milícia jelentkezett, amely közleményében az „amerikai megszállók” elleni további támadásokat ígért, a rakétatámadást pedig megtorlásnak minősítette a Gázai övezetben Izrael által folytatott hadműveletekért.
Az incidens után az ENSZ főtitkárának Irakért felelős különleges képviselője annak az aggodalmának adott hangot, hogy Irak, kormányának erőfeszítései ellenére, mélyebben belekeveredhet a konfliktusba, és eredménytelen maradhat kísérlete a feszültség kiterjedésének megakadályozására.
Hétfőn Irán Iszlám Forradalmi Gárdája ballisztikus rakétákkal támadott észak-iraki célpontokat, amelyek a teheráni indoklás szerint az „izraeli Moszad kémbázisai voltak”. Az Egyesült Államok felelőtlennek és pontatlannak minősítette az iraki terület ellen végrehajtott iráni támadást.
Október közepe, a Hamász Izrael elleni támadását követően kialakult háborús konfliktus óta mintegy 140 alkalommal érte támadás az Egyesült Államok Irakban és Szíriában állomásozó tagjait, akik az Iszlám Állam elleni nemzetközi koalíció tagjaként szolgálnak a térségben.

A kínai külügyminisztérium hevesen tiltakozott csütörtökön amiatt, hogy az előző nap Mianmarból tüzérségi lövedékek csapódtak be egy kínai városban, és öt embernek sebesülést okoztak.
A lövedékeket feltehetőleg a Mianmarban hatalmon lévő junta hadserege és a lázadószervezetek közötti harcokban az egyik vagy mindkét fél lőtte ki téves célzással.
„Kína ismételten arra kéri a konfliktusban részt vevő valamennyi felet, hogy hagyjon fel a harcokkal, és tegyen intézkedéseket az ilyen és hasonló incidensek elkerülése érdekében” – mondta Vang Ven-pin külügyi szóvivő. Kína megteszi a szükséges lépéseket állampolgárai életének és vagyonának védelme érdekében – tette hozzá.
A térségben egyre növekvő biztonsági kockázatokra hivatkozva Kína najpjidói nagykövetsége már a múlt héten felszólította a szóban forgó mianmari térségben tartózkodó kínai állampolgárokat, hogy minél hamarabb hagyják el azt.
Az ország északkeleti részén fekvő Kokangban élők többsége Mianmar kínai ajkú kisebbségéhez tartozik, mert a terület csak 1897-ben került Kínától az akkor brit fennhatóság alatt álló Burmához, a mai Mianmarhoz.
A mianmari hadsereg és a lázadó csoportok közötti fegyveres konfliktus az ország északi részén tavaly október vége óta egyre kiterjedtebbé vált. Az ENSZ december közepén közölt adatai szerint október 27-e óta több mint 660 ezer, a katonai puccs csaknem három évvel ezelőtti kezdete óta pedig 2,6 millió ember kényszerült lakhelye elhagyására Mianmarban.
Kokangban kilőtt, eltévedt lövedékek nem először okoznak sebesüléseket a határ túloldalán. 2015-ben a kínai-mianmari határtól csupán 500 méterre zajlottak ütközetek a mianmari kormánycsapatok és a lázadók között, a harcokban leadott lövések pedig Jünnant is elérték, megsebesítve egy kínai és négy mianmari állampolgárt.
A kínai állami média és jogvédő csoportok beszámolói szerint 2009-ben ugyanezen a területen az összecsapások tízezreket kényszerítettek arra, hogy a határon át Kínába meneküljenek.
A harcoló felek között időközben megindult a párbeszéd, amihez hozzájárult az is, hogy a kínai kormány többször is a fegyverszüneti tárgyalások megkezdésére szólított fel Mianmarban.

A kínai fővárosban, Pekingben összeütközött két szerelvény a metró föld feletti szakaszán a sűrű havazásban, 515 embert szállítottak kórházba, köztük százkettőt csonttöréssel – közölték a hatóságok pénteken.
A fővárost az elmúlt napokban heves havazás sújtotta, ami fennakadásokat okozott a közlekedésben.
A baleset csütörtök este, hely idő szerint 18 óra 57 perckor, a csúcsforgalom idején történt, amikor két szerelvény egymásnak ütközött – számolt be az esetről a CCTV közszolgálati televízió.
„Összesen 515 embert szállítottak kórházba kivizsgálásra, közülük 102-nek csonttörése volt. Halálesetről nem érkezett jelentés” – közölte a csatorna, amely szerint 67 ember továbbra is kórházban marad.
Az önkormányzat korábbi, csütörtök esti jelentése szerint több mint harminc ember sérült meg.
A média olyan képeket közvetített, amelyeken az utasok a földön fekszenek, mások a részben sötétségbe borult kocsiban tartózkodnak. Voltak, akik a vész esetén használandó kalapács segítségével betörték a szerelvény ablakát, hogy kijussanak a vagonból. Más videókon az utasok egy csoportja volt látható, amint a nagy mennyiségben lehullott havon gyalogolva hagyja el a baleset helyszínét. További felvételeken a tűzoltók nyújtottak segítséget az utasoknak kijutni a szerelvényekből.
Az első jelentések szerint a balesetet a hó okozta, amely csúszóssá tette a síneket, és a CCTV szerint ez a berendezések meghibásodásához, továbbá vészfékezéshez vezetett. „Egy hátul haladó vonat a lefelé tartó szakaszon közlekedett, megcsúszott a síneken, és nem tudott hatékonyan lefékezni, ami miatt összeütközött az előtte haladó szerelvénnyel” – közölte a közlekedési vállalat.
A baleset nem alagútban, hanem egy felszíni állomás közelében lévő szakaszon történt. A vonat a kínai főváros északnyugati Csangping kerületébe tartott.
Csütörtökön a pekingi metró üzemeltetője legmélyebb bocsánatkérését fejezte ki a baleset miatt.

A szerbek tiltakozása pénteken kezdődött, amikor Zvecan, Leposavic és Zubin Potok újonnan megválasztott, albán nemzetiségű polgármesterei megpróbálták elfoglalni hivatalaikat. A helyi szerbek nem akarták beengedni az önkormányzati épületekbe az új polgármestereket, mert nem értenek egyet azzal, hogy a többségében szerbek lakta településeket albánok vezessék, olyan emberek, akiket nem ők választottak meg.
Április 23-án négy észak-koszovói településen tartottak előrehozott polgármester-választást, mert a települések vezetői novemberben egy Szerbia és Koszovó közötti vita miatt lemondtak. A szerbek többsége bojkottálta az előrehozott választást, így a részvételi arány 3,47 százalékos volt, és a leadott szavazatok alapján a településeket a jövőben albán polgármesterek vezetik majd. Sem a helyi szerbek, sem Belgrád nem tartja elfogadhatónak, hogy az ilyen alacsony részvétel és a szerbek bojkottja mellett lezajlott választást Pristina és a nemzetközi közösség is legitimnek nevezte.
Koszovó 2008-ban kiáltotta ki függetlenségét Szerbiától, de Belgrád ezt azóta sem hajlandó elismerni, és továbbra is a saját, déli tartományának tartja a többségében albánok lakta területet.
A helyzet hétvégén is feszült volt, ám mivel munkaszüneti napokról volt szó, nem került sor összecsapásra, hiszen senki nem akarta használni az önkormányzati épületeket. Hétfőn viszont a hivatalba igyekvő új polgármestereket a szerbek ismét megállították. A koszovói rendőrség különleges egységei a helyszínre vonultak, ahol könnygázzal igyekeztek feloszlatni a tömeget. A helyzet eszkalációjának megakadályozására kapcsolódott be a KFOR.
Míg a szerbek szerint a koszovói fél provokálta ki a támadásokat, addig a koszovói elnök szerint Aleksandar Vucic szerb elnök akarja destabilizálni Koszovót. „A szerb illegális struktúrák, amelyek bűnbandákká váltak, megtámadták a koszovói rendőrséget, a KFOR-t és az újságírókat. Azoknak, akik Vucic utasításait hajtják végre, hogy destabilizálják Koszovó északi részét, szembe kell nézniük az igazságszolgáltatással” – írta a közösségi médiában Vjosa Osmani koszovói köztársasági elnök.
Zvecanban a koszovói rendőrség könnygázt vetett be a szerbek ellen, a szerbek pedig könnygázzal és villanógránátokkal támadtak a NATO békefenntartóira.
Aleksandar Vucic szerb államfő a hadsereg főparancsnokaként még pénteken helyezte a legmagasabb fokú készültségbe a szerb hadsereget, ezt hétfő délután ismét megerősítette.
Péntek esti, televízióban is közvetített rendkívüli sajtótájékoztatóján a szerb köztársasági elnök Albin Kurti koszovói miniszterelnököt tette felelőssé a Koszovóban történtekért. Mint mondta: hónapok óta igyekszik felhívni a figyelmet arra, hogy Albin Kurtinak csak egyetlen vágya van, mégpedig az, hogy az egész régióban vérontást provokáljon ki, ezt azonban kevesen akarták meghallani. „Mindezt Albin Kurti szervezte meg azzal a vággyal, hogy nagy összecsapásra kerüljön sor a szerbek és a NATO között, és ő, aki mindezért egyedüliként felelős, moshassa kezeit, és azt mondhassa, hogy semmi köze hozzá” – részletezte Aleksandar Vucic.
A szerb államfő arra kérte a nemzetközi közösséget, az öt nagyhatalom – Németország, Olaszország, Franciaország, az Egyesült Királyság és az Egyesült Államok – vezetőit, hogy próbálják meg „észhez téríteni” Albin Kurtit, mert Szerbia csak békét akar. „De ne csak értelmetlen közleményekkel akarják észhez téríteni, amikor közben megadnak neki mindent, hanem tegyenek lépéseket, mert ha ezt nem teszik, attól félek, hogy mindannyiunk számára késő lesz” – húzta alá.
A helyi szerbektől pedig azt kérte, hogy bármennyire is nehéz, de ne menjenek bele semmilyen összeütközésbe a NATO-val, nem azért, mert bárki is félne, hanem azért, mert a koszovói miniszterelnök éppen ezt akarja elérni. Egyben arról biztosította őket, hogy Belgrád gondot visel rájuk, mindent megtesz a béke megőrzése érdekében, de nem fogja hagyni, hogy üldözzék, elűzzék és gyilkolják a népét.

A diákokat szállító busz eddig tisztázatlan körülmények között letért az útról és egy patakba zuhant az Alpokban. A sofőr és egy másik felnőtt súlyosan megsérült. Szerencsére minden diáknak be volt kapcsolva a biztonsági öve, ezért könnyebb sérülésekkel megúszták, de így is 18 gyereket el kellett látni a mentőknek, négy gyereket pedig kórházba is szállítottak.
A hatóságok szerint az időjárás jó volt és az útviszonyok is kielégítőek voltak.
A polgármester szerint a valószínűleg a sofőr rosszul lett a volán mögött.
A gyerekek egy táborból tértek vissza Hautes-Alpesből és Grenoble állomás felé tartottak, amikor a baleset történt.
A baleset helyszíne, a Route Napoléon, egy nagyon meredek országút, amely Grenoble-t Gappel-lel köti össze. Veszélyességéről ismert úton gyakoriak a halálos balesetek.
