A BBC műsorvezetője három éven keresztül fizetett, a ma 17 éves tini fiúnak szexuális tartalmú képekért és performanszokét. A férfi évi 35 000 angol fontot fizetett a kiskorúnak, amelyből az kokaint vásárolt – írja a The Guardian.
A BBC a botrány kitörése után azonnal lépett, és a fokozódó feszültség következtében egyből felfüggesztették a műsorvezetőt. Szóvivőjük úgy fogalmazott, „a BBC komolyan veszi a vádakat, és szilárd belső eljárásokkal rendelkezik az ilyen vádak proaktív kezelésére.”
Kiemelték, hogy az ilyen ügyeket komolyan kell venni és minden esetben foglalkozni kell velük diszkréten és effektíven.
Már korábban értesültek a vádakról A BBC elmondta, hogy az első vádak már májusban elértek hozzájuk, azonban csak múlt hét csütörtökön élesedett ki annyira a helyzet, hogy már nem hagyhatták figyelmen kívül a kialakult szituációt a vezetők.
A médiavállalat azt az ígéret tette, hogy mindenképpen frissíti információit, és naprakészen tarja olvasóit, nézőit az üggyel kapcsolatban.

San Franciscóban nyújtották be szerdán annak az 550 nőnek a keresetét, akik azt állítják, hogy az Uber sofőrjei zaklatták őket.
„A szexuális zaklatás egy szörnyű rémtett, és mi minden egyes jelentést komolyan veszünk – nyilatkozta az Uber egyik szóvivője a BBC-nek. Nincs fontosabb a biztonságnál, ezért az Uber új biztonsági intézkedéseket vezetett be, túlélőközpontú szabályokat fektetett le, és átláthatóbban kezeli a súlyosabb ügyeket. Bár a folyamatban lévő perről nem beszélhetünk, a biztonság továbbra is a munkánk lényegi eleme lesz.”
Az Uber a múlt hónapban adta ki a második biztonsági jelentését, amelyből kiderül, hogy 2020-ban 998 esteben került sor szexuális zaklatásra a szolgáltatás használata során az Egyesült Államok területén, amelyből 141-szer megerőszakolás miatt tettek panaszt.
A kereset szerint az állítólagos szexuális bűnügyek számos államot érintenek, 150 további lehetséges esetet pedig jelenleg is vizsgálnak. A dokumentumban azt írják, az Uber már 2014-ben tisztában lehetett azzal, hogy a sofőrjei közül többen szexuálisan bántalmazzák és megerőszakolják a női utasokat, de a cégnek fontosabb volt a „terjeszkedés, mint az ügyfelek biztonsága.”
Hasonló vádakat fogalmazott meg hétfőn a cég egy korábbi vezető beosztásban lévő tagja, Mark MacGann is, aki szerint az Ubernél volt egy úgynevezett „kill switch”, amelyet egy hatósági megkeresés esetén azonnal aktiválni tudtak volna, hogy a rendőrség semmilyen információhoz ne jusson hozzá.
Ahogyan azt a keresetben olvasható, a cég szándékosan eltitkolta, hogy a sofőrjei nőket zaklatnak és miközben azt hirdették, hogy az ügyfelek biztonságban vannak az utazás során, pontosan tudták, hogy ez nem fedi a valóságot. A dokumentum továbbá azt is a problémák közé sorolja, hogy az Uber nem vetette alá szigorú átvilágításnak a sofőrjeit.

2017-ben robbant ki a botrány a Michigani Állami Egyetemen: diákok és volt diákok azzal vádolták Nassart, az egyetem tornászcsapatának orvosát, hogy éveken keresztül szexuálisan zaklatta vagy megerőszakolta őket. Legalább háromszáz fiatal nő esett áldozatául, köztük ismert olimpikonok. 2017 nyarán Nassart gyermekpornográfiáért hatvan év börtönre, 2018 januárjában kiskorúak kárára elkövetett szexuális támadások miatt negyventől 175 évig terjedő börtönbüntetésre, 2018 februárjában pedig – nemi erőszak újabb bizonyított esetei miatt – további negyventől 125 évig terjedő börtönbüntetésre ítélték.
Ideje felelősségre vonni az FBI-t
Maggie Nichols országos tornászbajnok kijelentette, hogy az FBI nem bújhat ki a felelősség alól. Az amerikai szövetségi törvények értelmében a kormánynak fél éve van arra, hogy választ adjon a szerdán benyújtott keresetlevélre. A kaliforniai Manly, Stewart & Finaldi jogi iroda szerint a mintegy kilencven felperes között olyan olimpiai aranyérmes sportolók is vannak, mint Simone Biles, Aly Raisman és McKayla Maroney.
„Amennyiben az FBI tette volna a dolgát, Nassart meg lehetett volna állítani, még mielőtt lányok százait erőszakolta volna meg, köztük engem” – mondta Samantha Roy, a Michigani Állami Egyetem volt tornásza.
Az FBI egyelőre nem reagált a megkeresésekre az ügyben.
Az amerikai igazságügyi minisztérium fővizsgálója szerint az indianapolisi székhelyű USA Gymnastics országos tornászegyesület 2015-ben tett bejelentést az FBI-nál, miszerint három tornászlány azt mondta, hogy Nassar zaklatta őket. Ennek ellenére az FBI nem indított hivatalos vizsgálatot, és nem értesítette erről sem a szövetségi, sem a michigani hatóságokat.
Az FBI Los Angeles-i irodája 2016-ban kezdett nyomozni Nassar ellen szexuális turizmus gyanúja miatt, s bár több áldozatot is meghallgattak, nem értesítették erről a michigani hatóságokat. Nassart végül 2016 őszén vették őrizetbe a Michigani Állami Egyetem rendőrségének nyomozását követően.
Christopher Wray, az FBI igazgatója tavalyi kongresszusi meghallgatásán elismerte, hogy jelentős hibákat követtek el az ügyben. Az igazságügyi minisztérium májusban azonban azt közölte, hogy nem indít büntetőeljárást volt FBI-ügynökök ellen mulasztás miatt.
A Michigani Állami Egyetem, amelyet szintén azzal vádoltak, hogy több éven át tétlen maradt Nassar ügyében, félmillió dolláros kártérítést fizetett a több mint háromszáz áldozatnak, az USA Gymnastics és az amerikai olimpiai és paralimpiai bizottság 380 millió dolláros kártérítésbe egyezett bele – írja az MTI.

A 48 esztendős Imran Ahmad Khan a közép-angliai Wakefield városát képviselte a londoni alsóház konzervatív párti frakciójában a 2019-es parlamenti választás óta.
Nem sokkal megválasztása után kiderült, hogy 2008-ban egy házibulin alkoholfogyasztásra kényszerítette a fiatalkorú fiút, felvitte egy emeleti szobába, pornográf filmet nézetett vele, majd szexuálisan bántalmazta.
A londoni Southwark kerület koronabíróságának esküdtszéke Khant – a vádlott folyamatos tagadása ellenére – a múlt hónapban bűnösnek mondta ki a terhére rótt vádakban, és a bíróság hétfőn 18 hónap szabadságvesztésre ítélte.
A kormányzó Konzervatív Párt már a bűnösség megállapítása után kizárta soraiból a képviselőt, aki nem sokkal később bejelentette, hogy lemond parlamenti mandátumáról.
Khan támadásának jelenleg 29 éves áldozata a bírósági tárgyaláson elmondta, hogy az incidens után sokáig öngyilkosságot fontolgatott, és a támadás súlyos hatással volt későbbi mentális fejlődésére, kapcsolatépítő képességére és munkájára is.
A volt képviselő fellebbezést nyújtott be az ítélet ellen.

Szexuális zaklatással, nemi erőszakkal vádolják az egyik zenei tehetségkutató televíziós műsor, a The Voice of Holland vezető személyiségeit – jelentette pénteken a holland sajtó.
A BOOS holland Youtube-csatorna csütörtöki epizódjában, számos korábbi női résztvevő beszélt a műsor készítése alatt elszenvedett szexuális zaklatásokról és visszaélésekről. A BOOS-nak névtelenül nyilatkozó egyik fiatal nő, korábbi versenyző, nemi erőszakkal vádolta meg felkészítő mesterét, az országban nagy népszerűségnek örvendő Ali B rappert. A nő bejelentette, hogy feljelentést tesz a zenész ellen. Az ugyancsak közismert Marco Borsato énekesről három nő azt vallotta, hogy még kiskorúak voltak, amikor a férfi „megfogdosta” őket.
Az RTL műsorszolgáltató a tehetségkutató műsort a múlt hétvégén levette a műsorról, miután a zenekar vezetője, Jeroen Rietbergen nyilvánosan bevallotta, hogy „szexuális jellegű” kapcsolatba került néhány, a programban részt vevő nővel. A férfit azzal vádolják, hogy a próbák idején szexuális megjegyzéseket tett, nemi szervéről fotókat küldött nekik. A Rietbergenre vonatkozó panaszok több mint tízéves időszakra terjednek ki, és legalább 19 nőt érintenek.

Két észak-afrikai származású olasz állampolgárt őrizetbe vettek a szilveszter éjszaka a milánói Dóm-téren elkövetett szexuális támadás tucatnyi gyanúsítottja közül, mivel fennállt a külföldre szökésük veszélye – közölte a milánói ügyészség szerdán.
A hatósági közlés szerint a 2000-ben és 2003-ban született két fiatalember letartóztatása után megjelent a milánói bíróság előtt, amely megerősítette őrizetbe vételüket. Észak-afrikai bevándorló családban született, olasz állampolgárokról van szó, egyikük Milánóban, a másikuk Torinóban él. A december 31-én éjszaka elkövetett csoportos szexuális támadások közül kettőben is részt vettek. Rendőrségi források szerint a két fiatalt „súlyos felelősség terheli” a nőkkel szembeni nemi agressziókban. Az egyik férfi lakásán megtalálták azokat a ruhákat, amelyekben a szilveszterkor készült utcai videó-felvételek szerint rátámadt a nőkre.
A hatóságok azzal indokolták őrizetbe vételüket, hogy fennállt külföldre szökésük veszélye, mivel kiderült, hogy külföldi kapcsolatokkal rendelkeznek. A vizsgálatot irányító milánói ügyészség egész éjszaka folytatta az eddig jelentkezett kilenc áldozat meghallgatását.
A beszámolók szerint a milánói Dóm-téren és a környező utcákban elkövetett erőszakos cselekedetekkel ugyanazt a korábbról, más esetekből már ismert forgatókönyvet követték: a csoportba verődött fiatal férfiak közül néhányan először szóba elegyedtek a kiszemelt lánnyal, majd a többi férfi körbevette az áldozatot. Egyesek a lánynak háttal állva alkottak gyűrűt, eltakarva, mi történik, hogy kívülről ne lehessen semmit se látni.
A hatóságok kedden tizennyolc fiatal otthonában tartottak házkutatást Milánó és Torinó területén. Közülük tizenkét fiatallal szemben indult vizsgálat csoportos szexuális erőszak, súlyos testi sértés és rablás vádjával. Mindegyikük észak-afrikai származású, Marokkóból, Algériából és Tunéziából érkeztek Olaszországba, van közöttük olyan, aki már olasz állampolgársággal rendelkezik. A legfiatalabb 15, a legidősebb 21 éves.
A fiatalokat a közösségi oldalakon is közölt felvételek alapján, valamint az utcai hatósági térkamerák arcfelismerő programjai segítségével azonosították be.

A korábban luxusvárosként közismert Milánót bűntanyává változtatták a bevándorlók szilveszter éjjelén. Egyre gyakrabban számol be a sajtó illegális bevándorlók által elkövetett visszaélésekről, portyázásokról, szexuális erőszakról az észak-olasz nagyvárosban.
Sajtóközleményekből kiderül, hogy gátlástalan pokoli hangulat uralkodott szilveszter éjszakán Milánó főterén. Szexuális zaklatások színterévé vált az év utolsó éjszakáján a Dóm tér. Két német turistanőt vett körül egy harminc fős férficsoport, akik a molesztálás során arabul beszéltek. A turisták beszámolója szerint a helyszínen lévő rendőrök segélykérésük ellenére sem léptek közbe a zaklató csoport feloszlatására. Helyszíni kamerák felvételei tanúskodnak a jelenetről, ahogyan az erőszakos férfiak körbevették a két nőt, majd testüket tapogatták. Az egyikük a földre esett, de még akkor sem fejezték be a molesztálást.
Esélyünk sem volt a menekülésre, csak sírtunk és kétségbeesve kiabáltunk. Megpróbáltuk eltaszítani őket, de ők csak nevettek– számoltak be utólag a sokkoló eseményekről az áldozatok.
A milánói hatóságok mindeddig a szilveszter éjszakán elkövetett öt erőszakos zaklatásról tudnak, nem kizárt, hogy további feljelentések érkeznek. Az esetek kísértetiesen hasonlítanak a 2016-ban Kölnben elkövetett nemi erőszakhoz, melyet hasonlóan az óévet búcsúztató nők ellen követtek el. A Milánói rendőrség egy 19 éves lány esetében is nyomoz, akit a korábbiakhoz hasonlóan egy arabul beszélő csoport vet körül és bántalmazott a Dóm téren. Barátnőjének sikerült kimenekülnie a támadók gyűrűjéből, ő azonban egyedül maradt. Értéktárgyait és táskáját önként átadta a támadóknak, ők azonban tovább folytatták a molesztálást. A hatóságok beszámolója szerint egy megszaggatott ruhadarabokban, a félelemtől sokkos állapotba került lányt találtak az esetet követően a téren. Több hasonló bűncselekmény felkutatását végzik a hatóságok, helyszíni kamerák és a világhálón megosztott amatőr felvételek segítségével.
