Tizenhét civil lakos, köztük öt gyermek vesztette életét szombaton Kartúmban légicsapásokban, 11-en pedig megsebesült – közölték helyi lakosok.
A szudáni hadsereg és a Gyorsreagálású Támogató Erők (RSF) nevű félkatonai szervezet között szombaton immár a harmadik hónapba léptek az összecsapások, de egyik fél sem áll egyértelmű nyerésre.
A hadsereg Kartúmra és szomszédos Omdurman és Bahri városokra mért légicsapást, míg az RSF elbarikádozta magát a lakónegyedekben.
A kartúmi egészségügy-minisztérium megerősítette helyi önkéntesek jelentését, amely szerint tizenhét ember, közöttük öt gyermek vesztette életét a főváros déli részén fekvő Mayo városrészben, és huszonöt ház omlott össze.
Az RSF szombaton azt közölte, hogy lelőtte a hadsereg egyik harci gépét a Nílus felett, Kartúmtól nyugatra.
Nyugat-Dárfúr tartomány székhelyéből, el-Geneinából, ahol tombol az erőszak, csak az elmúlt napokban hatezren menekültek Csádba. A harcokban eddig több mint ezren vesztették életüket az Egyesült Államok által az RFS-nek és a vele szövetséges milíciáknak tulajdonított támadásokban.
Kartúmban a háború miatt milliók maradtak áramszolgáltatás, víz és egészségügyi ellátás nélkül, a lakosok számára élelmiszerfejadagokat vezettek be. A szemtanúk fokozódó fosztogatásról számoltak be.
A szaúd-arábiai Dzsiddában, ahol az amerikai és a szaúdi közvetítők kilátásba helyezték a tárgyalások elnapolását, újabb háromnapos tűzszünet bevezetéséről folynak a tárgyalások.
Eddig számos tűzszünetben állapodtak meg a felek, de egyik se vezetett a harcok végleges beszüntetéséhez, illetve a humanitárius segélyek célba juttatásának megkönnyítéséhez.

Hiába a tűzszünet, tovább fokozhatja a szudáni konfliktust, hogy a hadsereg pénteken harcba szólította a tartalékosokat és a nyugalmazott katonákat.
A hadsereg eredetileg azt mondta, hogy minden nyugalmazott katonának és harcképes férfinak fel kell fegyverkeznie önvédelem céljából, de később ezt módosította, felszólítva az egykori katonákat, hogy jelentkezzenek a hozzájuk eső legközelebbi katonai bázison.
A nyilatkozatból nem derült ki egyértelműen, hogy a hadsereg az idézést kötelezőnek vagy önkéntesnek tekinti-e.
Eközben Szaúd-Arábia és az Egyesült Államok szerint a harcban álló felek most szigorúbban betartják a tűzszünetet, amely a két ország közvetítésével jött létre. Ennek ellenére a hét folyamán továbbra is szórványos összecsapásokat jelentettek Kartúmból és az ország egyéb területeiről.
A hadsereg és a vele szembenálló Gyorsreagálású Támogató Erők (RSF) hétfőn kötött hétnapos tűzszünetet azzal a céllal, hogy a humanitárius segélyek és az alapvető szolgáltatások eljuthassanak a rászorulókhoz.
A kelet-afrikai országban áprilisban törtek ki a harcok az Abdel-Fattáh al-Burhán tábornok vezette hadsereg, valamint ellenlábasa és egykori helyettese, a Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo tábornok irányítása alatt álló RSF között.
A szudáni Orvosok Bizottsága szerint az összecsapásokban már több mint 860 civil, köztük legalább 190 gyerek vesztette életét és mintegy 3500-an megsebesültek. Mintegy 1,3 millióan kényszerültek elhagyni otthonukat a konfliktus miatt. Az Egyesült Államok Nemzetközi Fejlesztési Hivatala (USAID) szerint Szudán 49 milliós lakosságának mintegy fele szorul segítségre.

(Photo by AFP) (Photo by -/AFP via Getty Images) A kartúmi heves harcok hátterében az Abdel Fattáh al-Burhán tábornok vezette szudáni hadsereg és a Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo tábornok irányítása alatt álló, félkatonai erők (RSF) képviselői egy hétig tartó, hétfőtől kezdődő tűzszünetben állapodtak meg – jelentette be szombaton közös nyilatkozatban az Egyesült Államok és Szaúd-Arábia.
A tűzszünet május 22-én kartúmi idő szerint 21 óra 45 perckor lép életbe, és hét napig tart – derült ki a kiadott közleményből.
Az Abdel Fattáh al-Burhán tábornok vezette hadsereg és a Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo tábornok vezette félkatonai gyors támogató erők (RSF) több mint egy hónapja harcolnak a hatalom megszerzéséért.
A tűzszünetet két héttel azután is bejelentették, hogy a két hadviselő tábornok képviselői először találkoztak a szaúd-arábiai Dzsiddában.
A szembenálló felek május 11-én ígéretet tettek arra, hogy tiszteletben tartják a humanitárius elveket és lehetővé teszik a humanitárius segélyek áramlását.
Martin Griffiths, a világszervezet vészhelyzeti koordinátora csütörtökön azonban sajnálatát fejezte ki a nyilatkozat „jelentős és kirívó” megsértése miatt.
Az ENSZ Humanitárius Ügyeket Koordináló Hivatala (OCHA) szerint eddig legkevesebb 676 halálos áldozata és 5576 sebesültje van a harcoknak. Mintegy 936 ezren voltak kénytelenek elmenekülni otthonaikból, közülük mintegy 200 ezren a környező országokban kerestek menedéket.
A felek között azóta között többször is született megállapodás tűzszünetről, ezek azonban jellemzően kudarcba fulladtak.

Az ENSZ közlése szerint az április 15-én kitört harcokban eddig legalább hatszáz ember vesztette életét és legkevesebb 5100-an sebesültek meg, bár félő, hogy a valós számok túlmutatnak a rendelkezésre álló adatokon.
A szembenálló felek, az állami hadsereg élén álló Abdel Fattáh al-Burhán, Szudán de facto elnöke és a rivális félkatonai Gyorsreagálású Támogató Erők (RSF) között többször is született megállapodás tűzszünetről, ezek azonban jellemzően kudarcba fulladtak.
A felek ugyanakkor pénteken sikeresen megállapodtak a polgári lakosság védelméről és arról, hogy lehetővé teszik a humanitárius segélyezést, valamint lehetőséget adnak a lakosság számára, hogy eltemessék halottaikat.

A szemben álló felek vasárnap éjféltől további hetvenkét órával meghosszabbították a humanitárius tűzszünetet Szudánban – ám ezt láthatóan nem tartották be.
A hadsereg azt mondta, hogy azért támadja a főváros, hogy kitakarítsa onnan a félkatonai riválisát, a Gyorstámogató Erőket (RSF). A konfliktusnak hivatalos beszámolók szerint eddig több mint 500 áldozata van, de feltételezhetően az áldozatok száma ennél magasabb.
A közösségi oldalakra felkerült egy videó is, amelyen az látható, hogy a Szudáni Központi Bank egyik fiókja lángokban áll, miközben Kartúm-szerte folytatódnak a harcok.
A kelet-afrikai országban április közepén robbantak ki harcok a kormányerők és a velük szemben álló RSF között, az összecsapásokban százak vesztették életüket és ezrek sebesültek meg. Pénteken bejelentették a hétfőn megkötött tűzszünet 72 órás meghosszabbítását, amely vasárnap éjfélkor jár le. A hét folyamán a külföldi kormányok igyekeztek kihasználni a relatív nyugalmat, és nagy erőkkel láttak hozzá diplomatáik, állampolgáraik és más külföldiek evakuálásához.

„Válaszul a nemzetközi, regionális és helyi felszólításokra, bejelentjük a humanitárius tűzszünet 72 órás meghosszabbítását ma éjféltől a humanitárius folyosók megnyitása, valamint az állampolgárok és lakosok szabad mozgásának elősegítése végett, hogy ki tudják elégíteni szükségleteiket, illetve biztonságos térségekbe tudjanak menni” – áll az RSF közleményében.
A kelet-afrikai országban április közepén robbantak ki harcok a kormányerők és a velük szemben álló RSF között, az összecsapásokban százak vesztették életüket és ezrek sebesültek meg. Pénteken bejelentették a hétfőn megkötött tűzszünet 72 órás meghosszabbítását, amely vasárnap éjfélkor jár le. A hét folyamán a külföldi kormányok igyekeztek kihasználni a relatív nyugalmat, és nagy erőkkel láttak hozzá diplomatáik, állampolgáraik és más külföldiek evakuálásához.
Az Egyesült Államok hadihajót küldött a kelet-afrikai országba állampolgárai kimenekítésére – közölte két amerikai tisztségviselő a Reuters hírügynökségnek nyilatkozva. A névtelenséget kérő illetékesek szerint a Brunswick nagy sebességű szállítóhajó ideiglenesen Port Szudánban tartózkodik és várhatóan amerikaiak százait veszi majd fedélzetre.

A Szudánban zajló fegyveres konfliktus egész Kelet-Afrikát humanitárius válságba sodorhatja – figyelmeztetett vasárnap az ENSZ Világélelmezési Programja (WFP).
„Az ország lakosságának harmada már az előtt is éhezett, hogy kitörtek a harcok, most pedig hiány van mindenből, és az árak az egekbe szöktek” – magyarázta a dpa német hírügynökségnek Martin Frick, a WFP németországi igazgatója.
Hasonló áremelkedés tapasztalható Csádban és Dél-Szudánban is, ahol sokan kerestek menedéket a harcok miatt. Frick szerint az egyes részein a klímaválság miatt áradások, máshol pedig aszály sújtotta Dél-Szudánban rövid idő leforgása alatt 28 százalékkal emelkedtek az élelmiszerárak.
Kifejtette, hogy Afrika szarván egyébként is katasztrofális az élelmiszerellátási helyzet, mert hat egymást követő esős évszak sem hozta meg a várt termést, s ezért „rekordfeszültség” tapasztalható az élelmiszerek piacán.
Közben a vöröskereszt tájékoztatása szerint megérkezett az országba az első segélyszállító repülőgép nyolc tonna rakománnyal a fedélzetén, benne orvosi eszközökkel és gyógyszerekkel is, amelyek 1500 ember ellátását teszik majd lehetővé. A gép a jordániai fővárosból, Ammánból indult és a Kartúmtól több mint 800 kilométerre lévő Port Szudánban szállt le.

Legkevesebb 528-an meghaltak és 4599-en megsebesültek Szudánban a hadsereg és a vele szemben álló félkatonai Gyorsreagálású Támogató Erők (RSF) összecsapásaiban az elmúlt hetekben – közölte a helyi egészségügyi minisztérium szombaton.
A tárca jelentése szerint a héten kihirdetett tűzszünet viszonylagos nyugalmat hozott, de Nyugat-Dárfúrban és a fővárosban, Kartúmban továbbra is harcok zajlanak.
A minisztérium jelezte: bővült az egészségügyi szolgáltatást nyújtó központok száma Kartúmban, és javult a kórházakkal való kommunikáció. Emellett a szudáni kormány megállapodást kötött több baráti országgal, illetve nemzetközi és regionális szervezetekkel, hogy a rászorulók orvosi ellátáshoz jussanak.
A 46 millió lakosú Szudánban április 15. óta zajlanak összecsapások a 2021-es katonai hatalomátvételt irányító Abdel Fattáh al-Burháni tábornok vezette hadsereg, valamint ellenlábasa és egykori helyettese, a Hemedti néven ismert Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo tábornok ellenőrzése alatt álló Gyorsreagálású Támogató Erők között. A konfliktus elől tízezrek kerestek menedéket a közeli országokban, és külföldi állampolgárok ezreit kellett evakuálni.
