Újabb túlélőket találtak a romok alatt kedden Törökországban a február 6-i dél-törökországi földrengések mentési munkálatainak kilencedik napján – jelentette az Anadolu török állami hírügynökség.
Kahramanmaras tartomány Dulkadiroglu körzetében a 198. órában hoztak a felszínre egy testvérpárt, egy 17 éves fiút és 21 éves bátyját. A fiatalok kimentéséhez a mentőcsapatok öt méter hosszú folyosót alakítottak ki a törmelékek között. A kiszabadítás pillanataiban a fiúk integettek a kameráknak, a fiatalabbik pedig újságírói kérdésre válaszolva azt is elmondta, hogy jól van.
A mentésben részt vevő egyik önkéntes úgy nyilatkozott: először azt hallották meg, hogy valaki a romok között üti a falat, majd a mentőkutyák is visszaigazolták, hogy túlélők vannak a helyszínen. A fiúk egyik nagybátyja örömében úgy fogalmazott: „Nem is tudom, mit mondjak, az unokaöcséim épségben, egészségben kerültek elő. Allah megajándékozott bennünket.”
A testvérpár édesanyját két nappal ezelőtt szintén élve hozták a felszínre.
Ugyancsak a 198. órában Adiyaman tartományban, három óra munkát követően egy 18 éves fiút mentettek ki a törmelékek fogságából.
Miközben a török mentőcsapatok számos helyszínen folytatják a keresést, és az utolsó túlélőt is igyekeznek felkutatni, a romok eltakarítása is zajlik már.
Törökországban a hivatalos adatok szerint eddig 31 643-an vesztették életüket a múlt hétfői földrengésekben.
Kedden, a szerencsétlenség óta először összeül Ankarában a török kormányzat. A tanácskozást ezúttal kivételesen nem az államfői palotában, hanem a katasztrófavédelem központjában tartják. Több olyan miniszter, aki a katasztrófa helyszínén tartózkodik, videóhívás keretében vesz részt az ülésen. Az egyetlen napirendi pont a február 6-i földrengéssorozat.

Hatay tartomány Iskenderun körzetében a 182. órában mentettek ki egy 12 éves kisfiút. Korábban, a 180. órában Kahramanmaras tartomány Onikisubat körzetében egy 39 éves nőt hoztak a felszínre, míg a 178. órában Adiyaman tartományban egy 6 éves kislányt, valamint Hatayban egy 70 éves nőt.
Az Anadolu szerint a 166. óra és a 182. óra között legkevesebb tíz ember életét mentették meg a mentőcsapatok.
A török városfejlesztési minisztérium pénteken arról számolt be, hogy a több ezer összeomlott épület mellett 33 143 olyan, súlyosan megrongálódott épületet regisztráltak a katasztrófa sújtotta térségben, amelyet sürgősen el kell bontani.
Az NTV török hírtelevízió hétfőn a régió falvaiból is hírt adott. Mint fogalmaztak: a földrengések kistelepüléseket töröltek el a föld színéről. Vidéken is óriási a pusztítás, a házak vagy romba dőltek, vagy súlyosan megrongálódtak – jelentették.

Elkezdődtek a fosztogatások Törökország földrengéssel sújtott városaiban. A régió több településéről is érkeztek hírek kirabolt boltokról, ezért Recep Tayyip Erdogan török elnök szükségállapotot rendelt el a régióban.
– Bevezettük a szükségállapotot? Igen, bevezettük. És miért tettük? Azért, hogy a fosztogatók ne húzhassanak hasznot a katasztrófából. Pár boltot például kiraboltak. Gondoljanak bele, hogy ez egy tisztességes nemzet. Ha megkérték volna a boltok tulajdonosait, ők mindent odaadtak volna nekik – mondta a török elnök.
A közbiztonság helyreállítására az ország összes pontjából hívtak rendőröket. Egy isztambuli kerületi rendőrkapitányságról például 35 rendőrautó indult Hatay felé.
A fosztogatások miatt a német és az osztrák mentőcsoport is úgy döntött, hogy felfüggeszti a mentési munkákat. Döntésüket a romló biztonsági körülményekkel indokolták. Voltak csapatok, amelyek már hazaindultak, azonban pár mentőcsoport még mindig dolgozik a romok között, bár már nagyon kevés az esélye, hogy élő embereket találnak.
Szombaton újranyitották az örmény-török határt, hogy a segélyszállítmányok könnyebben eljuthassanak a katasztrófa helyszínére. A lépés azért különleges, mert a határ 35 éve zárva volt.

A török sajtó immár az évszázad katasztrófájaként beszél a szerencsétlenségről. A mentési munkálatok 90. órájában hozták felszínre Hatay tartomány Samandag körzetében az eddigi legkisebb babát, egy 10 napos csecsemőt, valamint az édesanyját. A tartomány Iskenderun körzetében a mentés 102. órájában egyszerre hat embert sikerült a kimenteni a romok alól. A török katasztrófavédelem (AFAD) adatai szerint a külföldi egységeket is beleértve jelenleg 30 306 hivatásos dolgozik a romokon. A kisegítő személyzettel együtt 121 128 ember vesz részt mentésben. Csütörtökön, a mentés 4. napján 121 embert mentettek ki élve a romok alól. Az AFAD eddig 97 973 családi méretű sátrat állított fel a károsultak átmeneti ellátására. Murat Kurum török környezetvédelmi és városfejlesztési miniszter közlése szerint jelenleg 12 141 összeomlott vagy súlyosan megrongálódott épületről tudni a térségben. Ma a súlyosan érintett régióban a nappali hőmérséklet 1 és 10 Celsius-fok között alakul, míg az előttünk álló éjszaka -1 és -11 Celcius-fok közötti hőmérséklet várható. Övgün Ahmet Ercan, az Isztambuli Műszaki Egyetem (ITÜ) geofizikaprofesszora pénteken a Twitteren azt írta, hogy még mintegy 200 ezer ember lehet a romok alatt, túlnyomó többségében halottak.

Két ukrán állampolgár valószínűleg életét vesztette a törökországi földrengésben – jelentette be Oleh Nikolenko, Ukrajna Külügyminisztériumának szóvivője a török fél február 7-i adataira hivatkozva.
Nikolenko megjegyezte, hogy a nagykövetség ellenőrzi az információt, és megteszi a szükséges intézkedéseket az áldozatok azonosítására.
„4 sérült ukránról is vannak információink. Könnyebb sérüléseket szenvedtek, nincsenek életveszélyben, nem szorulnak kórházi kezelésre. Az áldozatok számára biztosítva van az átmeneti lakhatást és ellátás” – közölte a Külügyminisztérium szóvivője.
Megjegyezte: a diplomaták már 38 ukránt felkutattak, együttműködnek a török mentőszolgálatokkal, hogy megtalálják azt a 19 ukrán állampolgárt, akikkel nem sikerült felvenni kapcsolatot.
„A Külügyminisztérium ukrán konzulok kiküldésére készül Gaziantep városába. A nagykövetség diplomatái a katasztrófa sújtotta területre érkeznének, amint a helyzet lehetővé teszi a törökországi rendkívüli állapot miatt. A konzulok a helyszínen koordinálják majd az ukrán állampolgárok támogatását, meleg ruhákat és alapvető szükségleti cikkeket szállítanak nekik” – mondta Nikolenko.
Elmondása szerint a visszaúton a nagykövetség azt tervezi, hogy Törökország más régióiba szállítja azokat az ukránokat, akik hajlandóak lesznek elköltözni.
