A hírt Olekszij Kuleba, a megyei katonai adminisztráció vezetője közölte Telegram-csatornáján. Elmondása szerint az ellenőrzés 270 településen folyt a Bucsai, Brovari és Vishorodi járásokban.
A tűzszerészek összesen 51 862 darab robbanószert semmisítettek meg, még 8462 négyzetméternyi területet kell átvizsgálni. Kuleba közölte, hogy ahhoz, hogy Kijev megyét teljes mértékben sikerüljön átvizsgálni, évek kellenek.

A Rendkívüli Helyzetek Állami Szolgálatának (DSZNSZ) munkatársai naponta végeznek vizsgálatot az ország különböző területein, hogy felkutassák a háborúk után fennmaradt robbanásveszélyes tárgyakat.
Csak az elmúlt nap során 51 hívást kaptak, melyek során 264 robbanószert foglaltak le. Az év kezdete óta összesen 68 184 robbanásveszélyes tárgyat semmisítettek meg.
A DSZNSZ arra kéri a lakosságot, hogy amennyiben veszélyes lőszerre bukkannak, ne érjenek hozzá, ne szállítsák sehová, ne öntsenek rá folyadékot és ne szórják be földdel, semmivel ne fedjék le. Azonnal hívják a 101 vagy 102-es telefonszámot, semmiképp ne próbálják egyedül beazonosítani a tárgyat.
