Április 6-án három orosz MiG-31K típusú repülőgép hagyta el a Belarusz Köztársaságot. Ám, mint azt Jurij Ignat, az ukrán légierő parancsnokságának szóvivője elmondta, ezek a gépek hamarosan visszatérhetnek Belaruszba. A gépek nagyjából húsz percet töltöttek a levegőben, de szerinte csak azért, mert valamilyen probléma adódhatott – közölte az Unian ukrán hírügynökség.
Ignat emlékeztetett, hogy ezek a gépek Oroszországból kerültek oda a bázisrepülőtérről. Lehetséges, hogy most valamilyen üzemeltetési problémák merültek fel, de az AFU katonai parancsnokságának képviselője úgy véli, nem szabad abban reménykedni, hogy ezek a MiG-ek már nem térnek vissza.

A két U-208-as repülőgép a Rómától mintegy 25 kilométerre északkeletre fekvő Guidonia katonai repülőtér közelében zuhant le – írja az ABC News.
A földön az elsődleges hírek szerint nem sérült meg senki, de a két pilóta meghalt a balesetben.
