ENSZ-békefenntartók szállnak szembe a választásokat megzavarni akaró fegyveres lázadókkal Közép-afrikai Köztársaságban.
Csapaterősítést vezényelt az ENSZ békefenntartó kontingense (MINUSCA) a Közép-afrikai Köztársaság fővárosa, Bangui közelében utakat és városokat elfoglaló fegyveres lázadók elűzésére, akik a december 27-re kitűzött általános választások megzavarásával fenyegetnek. A MINUSCA péntek esti közleményében jelentette be a csapaterősítést, melyet a civil lakosság védelmével, valamint az elnök- és parlamenti választások biztosításával indokolt.
A feszültség azóta nőtt meg a választások küszöbén, hogy az afrikai ország legfelsőbb bírósága elutasította Francois Bozize volt elnök jelöltségét. Bozizét 2013-ben muzulmán lázadók űzték el a hatalomból, ami a keresztény milíciák válaszcsapását váltotta ki, és az országot polgárháborúba taszította.
Az ENSZ-békefenntartókat 2014 óta telepítették a köztársaságba. A misszió közlése szerint a fegyveres lázadó csoportok, amelyek közül több egymás ellen is harcolt a polgárháborúban és azután is, és nagy felelősségük van a folyamatosan ingatag belpolitikai helyzetért, a főváros közelében két települést elfoglaltak. A békefenntartók elűztek egy fegyveres milíciát, amely a fővárostól északkeletre elzárt egy főútvonalat, miközben az északi Bossangoában más békefenntartók megakadályozták, hogy motorkerékpáros fegyveresek elhagyják a várost. Az ENSZ-misszió közlése szerint az elmúlt hetekben a lázadók tucatnyi támadást hajtottak végre választási kampányrendezvények ellen.
Értesülések szerint a volt gyarmattartó Franciaország és az újraválasztásáért küzdő távozó elnököt, Faustin-Archange Touaderát támogató Oroszország dezinformációs kampányokat folytatnak a szavazók megtévesztésére, és megpróbálják befolyásolni a választásokat.
António Guterres ENSZ-főtitkár pénteken külön közleményben ítélte el az egyre jobban elharapódzó erőszakot, dezinformációs kampányt, gyűlöletbeszédet és erőszakra való felbujtást.

Trump és csapata hétfőn a bíróságon támadja meg a végeredményt, miután egyre több gyanús dolog lát napvilágot. Több halott amerikai adott le levélszavazatot Bidenre, a republikánus megfigyelőknek nem engedték megnézni a beérkezett szavazólapokat, de arra is volt példa, hogy több ezer Trump szavazatot Bidenhez irányított át a számlálóprogram.
Annak ellenére, hogy számos államban még tart a voksok összesítése, illetve több helyen újra kell számolni a szavazatokat – a demokrata aspiráns már kihirdette győzelmét. Donald Trump pedig azt jelentette be, hogy bíróságon támadja meg a végeredményt.
Szakértők szerint is korai még Bidenék öröme.
Egyre több gyanús dologra derül ugyanis fény. A keddi választás után maga Biden vallotta be, hogy az amerikai politika történetének legnagyobb választási csalási gépezetét hozták létre.
A Trump-adminisztráció több gyanús dologról is beszámolt. Michigan állam Antrim megyéjében például több ezer Trump szavazatot Bidenhez irányított át a szavazatszámláló program. Ráadásul ugyanezt a szoftvert használták az állam 47 megyéjében, sőt Georgia államban is, ahol – Michiganhez hasonlóan – a hirtelen beömlő szavazatok fordították meg Biden javára az eredményt.
Az arizóniai Maricopa megyében a szavazóbiztosok tévesen nyilvánították szabálytalannak a személyesen megjelenő választók voksait.
Arra is volt példa, hogy egy 118 éves ember, bizonyos William Bradley adott le levélszavazatot Bidenre, holott a férfi már 1984-ben elhunyt.
Trump és csapata hétfőn megteszi a szükséges jogi lépéseket.
Az elnök közleményében úgy fogalmazott: „Joe Biden teljesen hamisan pózol győztesként”. Közölte, hogy folytatni fogják az államonként elindított pereket a feltételezett választási visszaélések miatt. Hozzáfűzte: „a választásnak nincs vége.”

Több választópolgár a szavazófülkék kihagyásával adta le szavazatát vasárnap a helyhatósági választásokon a beregszászi járási Tiszaszirma (Drotinci) település szavazókörében – adta hírül a pmg.ua hírportál az OPORA civil szervezetre hivatkozva.
A közlés szerint az OPORA megfigyelője szemtanúja volt, amint a tiszaszirmai 210088. számú szavazókörben a választópolgárok a szavazófülkék előtti sorokban töltötték ki a szavazólapokat. A szavazóhelyiségben mindössze 3 szavazófülkét helyeztek el, ezért sorok alakultak ki előttük, és több választó a fülke megkerülésével adta le szavazatát.
A választójogi törvénykönyv 248. cikkelye 5. része értelmében a szavazólapot a választópolgár személyesen tölti a szavazás titkosságát szavatoló fülkében. A szavazólap kitöltése során tilos más személyek jelenléte és mindennemű fénykép- vagy videofelvétel készítése.

Cserkaszi megyében egy, a Ljasko féle párthoz tartozó képviselőjelölt mulatozásra hívta a választópolgárokat, s vodkával kínálgatta őket.
Az eset Cservona Szlobodán történt, a Mikola Dubina jelölt a helyi megyei tanácsba kíván bekerülni, s ennek érdekében úgy döntött, ilyen módon próbálja meg megvesztegetni a szavazókat. Az „eseményen” szórólapokat és újságokat terjesztettek az említett pártról, s többször is kihangsúlyozták, hogy a mulatozás főszervezője megyei képviselőjelölt.
A mulatság végén ajándékot adtak a legfiatalabb és a legidősebb résztvevőnek, Dubina elmondása szerint mindenkinek járt volna valamilyen jelképes csomag, azonban az Opora megvesztegetés vádjával feljelentette őket a rendőrségnél, akik feloszlatták a jókedélyű tömeget.

Az Ukrán Belügyminisztérium a légiközlekedést is bevonja a választások idejére annak érdekében, hogy operatívan tudjon reagálni a bejelentésekre. A hírt Artem Sevcsenko, a belügyminisztérium sajtószóvivője közölte.

Az FBI igazgatója szerint Oroszország félrevezető információkkal próbálja aláásni Joe Biden demokrata párti elnökjelölt kampányát. Christopher Wray, a Szövetségi Nyomozó Iroda (FBI) igazgatója a képviselőház belbiztonsági bizottságának csütörtöki meghallgatásán azt mondta: Oroszország ráadásul igyekszik megrendíteni az amerikaiak bizalmát a választási folyamat hitelességében is. A legnagyobb aggodalomra ugyanakkor az orosz dezinformáció mértéke és folyamatossága ad okot.
Az orosz beavatkozásról nem Wray az első, aki figyelmezteti a törvényhozókat és a közvéleményt. Augusztus elején az Országos Elhárítási és Nemzetbiztonsági Központ igazgatója, William Evanina szintén kongresszusi meghallgatáson közölte: Moszkva megpróbálja befolyásolni az amerikai választásokat. Jelezte azt is: más-más célokkal ugyan, de Kína és Irán szintén ezzel próbálkozik – írta a távirati iroda.
Az FBI igazgatója arról is beszélt, hogy a szövetségi nyomozók figyelmet szentelnek az amerikai technológiák és ipari titkok ellopására irányuló kínai kísérletekre is. Az ázsiai ország tevékenysége szerinte olyan erőteljes, hogy az FBI-nál új elhárítási dossziét nyitottak Kínának.

A munkácsi járási Cserlenő egyik lakosa, aki tagja volt a választási bizottságnak az előrehozott parlamenti választások során beismerte, hogy törvénytelenül adott át szavazólapokat olyan személyeknek, akiknek nem állt jogában átvenni azokat.

A fehérorosz hatóságok szerdára virradóra a Wagner Group orosz biztonsági magáncég zsoldosait vették őrizetbe Minszk közelében – közölte a BelTA állami hírügynökség, a fehérorosz rendvédelmi szervekre hivatkozva.
Az elfogott 32 külföldi fegyveres a Wagner Group zsoldosa – jelentette a fehérorosz állami hírügynökség, amely korábban arról számolt be, hogy az őrizetbe vétel július 29-re virradóra történt.
A rendvédelmi szervek tájékoztatása szerint értesülést kaptak arról, hogy több mint 200 fegyveres lépett Fehéroroszország területére azzal a céllal, hogy destabilizálja az országot a választási kampány idején.
Az oroszok mindegyikénél kis kézipoggyász, illetve összesen három nagy, nehéz bőrönd volt – írta a BelTA.
A fővárosba érkezve július 25-re virradóan a csoport az egyik minszki szállodában szállt meg, ahonnan 25-én kellett volna távozniuk, de 27-én hagyták el a szállodát, és egy Minszk környéki szanatóriumba utaztak.
A szanatórium vezetése szerint a férfiak orosz turistákra nem jellemző magaviseletükkel és egyforma terepszínű gyakorlóruhájukkal hívták fel magukra a figyelmet. Alkoholt nem fogyasztottak, szórakoztató rendezvényeket nem látogattak, igyekeztek nem felhívni magukra a figyelmet. Kis csoportokban ismerkedtek a szanatóriummal és a környékével.
Szerdára virradóra a 32 embert a fehérorosz biztonsági szolgálat (KGB) és a különleges rendőri alakulat (OMON) őrizetbe vett. Egy további embert az ország déli részében azonosítottak és vettek őrizetbe. A nyomozó bizottság megkezdte ügyükben a vizsgálatot – írta a BelTA, amely közzétette az őrizetbe vett személyek névsorát.
Aljakszandr Lukasenka összehívta a fehérorosz nemzetbiztonsági tanács ülését és utasított Valerij Vakulcsikot, a KGB főnökét, hogy kérjen hivatalosan magyarázatot az orosz féltől.
A gyakran Európa utolsó diktatúrájaként emlegetett országban augusztus 9-én tartanak elnökválasztást. Elemzők szerint a kelet-európai országban a rossz gazdasági és emberi jogi helyzet, valamint a koronavírus-járvány nem megfelelő kezelése miatt egyre fokozódik a rezsimmel szembeni elégedetlenség, s így évtizedek óta nem látott kihívásokkal kénytelen megbirkózni a jelenlegi vezetés.
Ennek ellenére Lukasenka győzelme bizonyosnak látszik, mivel két fő riválisa – a pénzügyi szabálytalanságokkal vádolt Viktar Babarika üzletember és a vezetés korrupciójával gyakran foglalkozó Szjarhej Tihanovszkij blogger – börtönbe került.
Az utóbbi hetekben tüntetők ezreit vették őrizetbe az országban, Valerij Cepkalo ellenzéki vezető, aki Lukasenka kihívójaként kívánt indulni az elnökválasztáson, pedig a fiaival együtt külföldre menekült, attól tartva, hogy a hatóságok megvonhatják szülői felügyeleti jogait.
