Két maszkos férfi leöntötte egy üzlet ajtaját Volócon, majd pedig felgyújtották azt. Az eset a Karpatszkij utcán történt.
A nyomkereső kutya segítségével a hatóságok rövid időn belül a tettesekre bukkantak. A kutya öt kilométeren át vezette a rendőröket, elhagyatott házak, üres utcák és vasúti síneken keresztül, míg megtalálta azt az épületet, ahol a tettesek tartózkodtak.
A 32 éves büntetett előéletű férfi lakásában megtalálták a gyújtogatáskor viselt ruhaneműt. A lakóhelyen a férfi 28 éves szolyvai barátja is jelen volt, mint kiderült a bűntettet ketten követték el.
A férfiakat letartóztatták, az ügyben eljárás indult.
