Kiürítettek egy Bredából érkező vonatot szerda késő délelőtt az amszterdami Zuid vasútállomáson, miután bejelentés érkezett egy, a vonaton tartózkodó fegyveresről – tájékoztatott az NL Times című, angol nyelvű holland hírporál szerdán.
A beszámoló szerint a golyóálló mellényben és keresőkutyákkal érkező rendőrök a vonat utasait arra utasították, hogy felemelt kézzel szálljanak le a szerelvényről.
A mintegy háromszáz utast a peronon egyesével átkutatták, a vonatot ellenőrizték, de nem találtak felfegyverzett embert, sem fegyvert vagy fegyvereket. A helyszínt számos rendőrautó állta el, az állomás környékét rendőrségi helikopterrel is megfigyelés alatt tartották. A Koninklijke Marechaussee, a hadsereg részeként működő és többek között a határbiztonságért felelős rendőri egység is a helyszínre vonult.
Senkit nem állítottak elő az utasok közül – írták. A rendőrség és az illetékes hatóságok még vizsgálják, hogy ki tette a hamis bejelentést, valamint hogy szándékos volt-e – tájékoztattak.
Az NS holland vasúttársaság közlése szerint az incidens késéseket és járattörléseket okozott több vonalon.
A hírportál emlékeztetett, hogy az amszterdami Zuid vasútállomás naponta mintegy 61 ezer embert szolgál ki, ezzel a harmadik legforgalmasabb állomás Hollandiában az amszterdami Centraal pályaudvar és a Schiphol nemzetközi repülőtér vasúti terminálja után.

Egy magyar férfi elképesztő életveszélyes mutatványt hajtott végre Németországban: kívülről kapaszkodott egy nagy sebességű vonatra, miután lemaradt róla egy németországi állomáson – írja a BBC. A 40 éves férfi Münchenből indult, és Ingolstadtnál szállt le, hogy elszívjon egy cigarettát, de rosszul mérte fel az időt, és a vonat ajtói becsukódtak, miközben a csomagja odabent maradt.
A férfi nem akarta elveszíteni a holmiját, ezért felugrott a vonat két kocsija közti konzolra, és a kábelekbe kapaszkodva utazott tovább. Eközben a szerelvény akár 282 kilométer/órás sebességgel száguldott Nürnberg irányába.
Az esetet szemtanúk jelentették, a vonatot pedig 30 kilométerrel később sikerült megállítani a rendőrség közreműködésével.
A férfi sérülés nélkül megúszta az utazást, és elmondta a rendőröknek, hogy csak a csomagját akarta visszaszerezni. A német hatóság vizsgálja az esetet.

Négy lengyelországi vajdaságban huszonöt személyvonat állt le kedden, mert a vészfékeket kézi adóvevővel, ok nélkül működésbe hozták – közölték az illetékes hatóságok.
Az incidenseket a közép-lengyelországi Lódzi és Mazóviai vajdaságból, a délnyugat-lengyelországi Opolei vajdaságból, valamint az észak-lengyelországi Pomerániai vajdaságból jelentették kedden.
A leállások nem veszélyeztették az utasokat, az érintett szerelvények átlagosan hét percet késtek.
Több hasonló eset az utóbbi napokban más lengyel vajdaságokban is történt.
Rendőrségi közlemény szerint vasárnap az északkelet-lengyelországi Bialystokban őrizetbe vettek két férfit, akik a gyanú szerint a náluk talált, rövid hullámhosszon működő kézi adóvevő segítségével beindították a vészfékrendszert egyes vonatokban.
Későbbi hatósági közlés szerint a gyanúsítottak egyike egy helyi rendőr volt.
Stanislaw Zaryn biztonsági ügyekért felelős kormánymegbízott kedden a Radio Wnet lengyel rádiócsatornának elmondta: egyelőre nem rendelkezünk olyan információkkal, amelyek alapján egyértelműen megállapítható, mi volt a vonatleállításokat okozók indítéka.
Megemlítette mindazonáltal, hogy Oroszország érdekelt a lengyel állam destabilizálásában.
Ez azonban túl kevés ahhoz, hogy a vasúti incidensek sorozatát közvetlenül az orosz tevékenységgel hozzuk összefüggésbe – tette hozzá.
A nyomozás folytatódik, az első gyanúsítottak őrizetbe vétele után ügyészségi eljárás is indult – közölte Zaryn.

Az osztrák szövetségi elnök számára váratlanul hosszú és kalandos lett egy belföldi vonatút, miután több órára a szerelvényen ragadt. Alexander Van der Bellen járata azért kényszerült megszakítani útját, mivel egy kidőlt fa elvágta az áramot – írta meg a Heute osztrák napilap.
A nagy viharok miatt kedden Ausztria-szerte több autópályát és vasútvonalat le kellett zárni. Többek kötött a nyugati vonal, a Brenner-hágón áthaladó út, valamint a Karintia és Stájerország közötti déli vonal is járhatatlanná vált. Az Imst körzetben található Roppen vasútállomás közelében egy nyugatra tartó Railjet-vonatot ki is kellett üríteni, mivel egy kidőlt fa miatt nem volt áramellátása. A helyzet azonban nem volt egyszerű, az utasok csak az ÖBB műveleti vezetőjének biztosítása és a tűzoltóság támogatása után tudták elhagyni a vonatot, miközben a mentőszolgálat gondoskodott róluk. Ezt követően buszokkal szállították tovább őket.
Mint kiderült, ezen a szerelvényen utazott Alexander Van der Bellen szövetségi elnök is, aki a bregenzi fesztiválra szeretett volna eljutni. Számára is hosszabb lett az út, hiszen az ötórás vonatozást további két órával toldotta meg a műszaki probléma.
Neki azonban már nem volt szüksége hosszú vonatpótló buszozásra, mivel a baleset elég közel történt az államfő Kaunertalban található otthonától.

Legkevesebb hét életét vesztette szerda éjjel azt követően, hogy egy személyvonat egyik vasúti kocsija kigyulladt Pakisztán déli részén – közölték a hatóságok.
A vasúttársaság közlése szerint a Szindh tartomány székhelyétől, Karacsitól mintegy 500 kilométerre északra fekvő Hairpur városánál történt szerencsétlenség áldozatai közül hatan a vasúti kocsiban keletkezett tűzben vesztették életüket, egy nő halálát pedig az okozta, hogy a lángok elől menekülve kiugrott a mozgó vonat ablakán.
A helyi média arról számolt be, hogy a Karacsiból a keleti Pandzsáb tartomány székhelyére, Lahorba tartó vonat több kocsija is leégett, miután a lángok átterjedtek az egyelőre tisztázatlan okból kigyulladt kocsiról, és a tűz végigsöpört a szerelvényen.
Feltételezések szerint a biztonsági előírások figyelmen kívül hagyása vezethetett a szerencsétlenséghez, Pakisztánban ugyanis a rossz vasúti infrastruktúra és a hanyagság miatt gyakoriak a vasúti balesetek.

Április 18-án Szalókán csempészcigarettára bukkantak egy vonatban, amely az Európai Unióba tartott.
A vonatban összesen 120 doboz zárjegy nélküli cigarettát találtak. Az információk szerint mivel a csempészáru „tulajdonosa” nem tartózkodott a vonaton, a cigarettát lefoglalták, kiállították a szükséges protokollokat, a vonat pedig tovább haladhatott Magyarországra.
