Amint arról tegnap beszámoltunk lezuhant egy magánrepülő szerdán az oroszországi Tver megyében, az orosz hatóságok tájékoztatása szerint az utaslistán Jevgenyij Prigozsin, a Wagner katonai magánvállalat alapítójának neve is szerepelt.
Az orosz hatóságok szerint a zsoldos-vezér szerepelt annak a repülőgépnek az utaslistáján, amely Moszkvából Szentpétervárra tartott, amikor lezuhant, feltehetően lelőhették. Az MNT-Aero tulajdonában álló Embraer Legacy típusú gépen tíz ember utazott, mindnyájan életüket vesztették – közölte az orosz rendkívüli helyzetek minisztériumának sajtószolgálata.
A Roszaviacija orosz légiügyi hatóság különbizottságot állított fel a vizsgálat lefolytatására a szerencsétlenség ügyében.
A gép Kuzsenkino község közelében zuhant le. A helyszínen a rendvédelmi szervek és a rendkívül helyzetek minisztériuma munkatársai tartanak szemlét, keresik a gép fekete dobozait.
A nyomozást Igor Dudenya, a tveri régió kormányzója személyes ellenőrzése alá vonta.
A Meduza független orosz hírportál a Grey Zone Telegram-csatornára hivatkozva azt állítja, hogy Prigozsin magángépét a légvédelem lőtte le, ezt az információt azonban hivatalosan még nem erősítették meg.
Vlagyimir Rogov, Zaporizzsja megye Moszkva által kinevezett igazgatási főtanácsának tagja a Wagner parancsnokaival egyeztetve megerősítette hogy Jevgeny Prigozin és a Wagner-csoport egyik parancsnoka, Dmitrij Utkin is életét vesztette.
Ha Prigozsin meghalt, a Wagner-csoport elindul Moszkva felé
Egy, a Wagnerhez közel álló csatorna arról írt a Telegramon, hogy amennyiben a Prigozsin haláláról szóló híresztelések beigazolódnak, megszervezik a második „Igazság Menetet”, és elindulnak Moszkva felé, ugyanis úgy vélik, hogy Vlagyimir Putyin orosz elnök és a Kreml keze is benne van a dologban. Az erről készült képernyőfotót Anton Herascsenko, az ukrán belügyminiszter tanácsadója osztotta meg X-en (korábban Twitter).

Az incidens pontosan két hónappal a Prigozsin által alapított Wagner zsoldoscsoport zendülése után történt. A katonai magánvállalat fegyveresei Kelet-Ukrajnából kiindulva elfoglalták akkor Rosztov-na-Donu várost és fegyveres gépkocsioszlopot indítottak Moszkva felé, az orosz hadvezetés színvonala és állítólagos korrumpáltsága ellen tiltakozva.
A másfél napig tartó lázadás, amelyet számos elemző a legkomolyabb kihívásnak tekintett Vlagyimir Putyin orosz elnök több mint két évtizede tartó kormányzására, a nyilvánosság számára tisztázatlan körülmények között ért véget, Aljakszandr Lukasenka fehérorosz államfő közvetítésével. Prigozsin elrendelte erőinek visszavonulását.
Noha Putyin akkor hazaárulásnak minősítette a történteket és a Wagner fegyveresei a jelentések szerint többeket megöltek és repülőgépeket is lelőttek, felelősségre vonás mégsem történt. Prigozsin a harcosaival az alku részeként Fehéroroszországba vonulhatott, hogy ott részt vegyen a helyi hadsereg kiképzésében.

A mali hadsereg és vélhetően a Wagner orosz katonai magáncéghez köthető zsoldosok számos emberrablást, fosztogatást és gyilkosságot követtek el az afrikai országban a Human Rights Watch (HRW) emberi jogi szervezet hétfői beszámolója szerint.
Tavaly december óta több tucat civilt öltek meg vagy raboltak el Mali középső részén, és a halottak között egy hatéves gyerek is van – hangsúlyozta a szervezet.

Mali 2012 óta folytat harcot az ország területén aktív iszlamista szélsőségesek ellen. Egy évre rá a dzsihadistákat – akkor még francia katonák segítségével – sikeresen kiűzték Mali északi részéből, de később újra erőre kaptak, és támadásokat hajtottak végre a hadsereg és szövetségesei ellen.
A 2021-ben hatalomra került mali junta és Moszkva többször hangoztatta, hogy az afrikai országban nincsenek orosz zsoldosok, csupán orosz katonai szakértők, akik a katonák kiképzését segítik.
Franciaország 2022 februárjában, kilenc év után vonta ki csapatait Maliból azt követően, Párizs és a junta kapcsolatai megromlottak.
Emellett június végén az ENSZ Biztonsági Tanácsa (BT) bejelentette: kivonja békefenntartó erőit Maliból.

Jevgenyij Prigozsin, a Wagner magánalakulat vezetője „kirándulása” során a zsoldosok sikeresen támadták az orosz légierőt. Összesen hét objektumot semmisítettek meg – közölte Jurij Ihnat, az Ukrán Fegyveres Erők légierejének szóvivője a telemaraton adásában, számolt be az RBK-Ukrajina.
Ihnat elmondása szerint a zsoldosok egy repülőgépet, két harci és négy szállítóhelikoptert semmisítettek meg.
A légierő szóvivője megjegyezte, a wagneristák tudták, hogy az orosz légierő gyorsan és hatékonyan megsemmisítheti konvojukat.

Rendbontásért és nyilvános légfegyverviselésért 14 nap börtönbüntetésre ítélték az orosz Wagner katonai zsoldoscsoport volt parancsnokát Norvégiában – számolt be a csütörtöki ítéletről a Dagbladet című norvég napilap.
A 26 éves Andrej Medvegyev egy februári este Oslóban részt vett egy bár előtti verekedésben, és akadályozta a rendőröket. A fiatal férfi beismerte bűnösségét, és bűnösnek vallotta magát nyilvános helyen történő légfegyverviselés vádjában is.
Brynjulf Risnes, a férfi ügyvédje elmondta, hogy a bíróság ugyanakkor a hivatalos személy elleni erőszak vádja alól felmentette Medvegyevet. Hozzátette: védence belátta, hogy a kérdéses estén „túl sokat ivott és elvesztette a fejét”, azonban az ügyvéd is kitartott amellett, hogy Medvegyev nem bántotta egyik rendőrt sem.
A vádlott a keddi tárgyaláson elismerte, hogy a verekedést követően nem volt együttműködő, ellenállt az őrizetbe vételkor, dühében pedig köpött egyet, de leszögezte, hogy fizikailag nem bántalmazta a rendőröket.
Hajlandó tanúskodni az orosz háborús bűnökről
A férfit először január végén, illegális határátlépés gyanújával vették őrizetbe. A norvég Nemzeti Bűnügyi Nyomozó Szolgálat, a Kripos nem sokkal később beszámolt róla, hogy az Ukrajna elleni harcokban való részvétel miatt tanúként hallgatták ki Medvegyevet, aki elmondta, hogy júliustól novemberig parancsnokként szolgált a Wagner katonai magánszervezetben.
Elmondása szerint azután szökött meg, hogy beleegyezése nélkül meghosszabbították a szerződését. Őrizetbe vételekor elmondta, hogy hajlandó tanúskodni azon háborús bűnök ügyében, amelyeknek szemtanúja volt, noha tagadta, hogy ő maga részt vett volna elkövetésükben.

A jelentés szerint Cserevatij megerősítette, hogy a harcok Bahmut közigazgatási épületének közelében zajlottak. Ezt követően, mint ismeretes, Jevgenyij Prigozsin, a Wagner magánhadsereg tulajdonosa, kijelentette, hogy az oroszok „jogilag bevették a várost”, mert az orosz fegyveresek arra készültek, hogy kitűzzék az orosz trikolort Bahmut kormányzati épületére.
A sajtószóvivő ugyanakkor hangsúlyozta, hogy az orosz csapatok még messze vannak attól, hogy elfoglalják Bahmutot. „Bahmut ukrán, és nem foglaltak el semmit, és finoman szólva is nagyon távol állnak tőle” – mondta el Szerhij Cserevatij.
