A nyomozás során kiderült, hogy az orosz hadsereg cirkálórakétával mért támadást egy infrastrukturális objektumra a Volóci kistérség területén. 500 méteres körzetben kitörtek a házak és lakások ablakai, kár keletkezett a tetőszerkezetekben – ezek értékét még vizsgálják a szakértők. Ezenkívül meghibásodott a gázvezeték is, melynek következtében több mint 50 lakóház maradt gázszolgáltatás nélkül. Szerencsére a történteknek nincsenek sérültjei és áldozatai.
A nyomozást az Ukrán Biztonsági Szolgálat (SZBU) kárpátaljai kirendeltsége végzi. A hírt a megyei ügyészség közölte.

A DBR sajtószolgálata szerint 2017–2018 között a Putyin komája, Viktor Medvedcsuk cége vasúton és közúton importált kőolajtermékeket. Az iratok szerint azonban a tartályokban gázkondenzátum volt, ami után nem kell jövedéki adót fizetni.
A vámosok a vámkezelés során „nem vették észre”, hogy a ciszternák mást tartalmaznak, így a vállalatnak nem kellett befizetni a milliós adókat. A károk értéke akár 35,5 millió hrivnyánál is több lehet.
