Dulakodás tört ki az ENSZ békefenntartói és a ciprusi török biztonsági erők között pénteken az ENSZ ellenőrzése alá tartozó ütközőzónában engedély nélkül végzett építkezés miatt – közölte a békefenntartó misszió.
Szemtanúk szerint a békefenntartókra a ciprusi török biztonsági erők rendőrei és katonái támadtak rá, majd bulldózerekkel elmozdították az ENSZ teherautóit, a betonoszlopokat és a szögesdrótkerítést is a szigetet kettészelő, az ENSZ ellenőrzése alatt álló területről.
Az eset egy olyan szektorban történt, amely egy szlovák katonai egység irányítása alatt áll, brit békefenntartói megerősítéssel. Az ENSZ szóvivőjének elmondása alapján három békefenntartó súlyosan megsebesült, és kórházi ápolásra szorul. Lőfegyverhasználat nem történt.
Az Egyesült Államok, Nagy-Britannia és Franciaország, az ENSZ Biztonsági Tanácsának öt álladó tagja közül három ország elítélte a pénteki incidenst. „Ezek a tettek elfogadhatatlanok, és aláássák az ENSZ békefenntartó misszióját” – áll a három ENSZ-nagykövet közös közleményében.
A vita középpontjában a ciprusi török hatóságok által tervezett útszakasz megépítése áll, amely összekötné az ütközőzónában lévő Píla (törökül Pile) falut a sziget északi részével, tehát ENSZ-területen létesülne. Még három hasonló falu van a szigeten.
Az ENSZ már korábban aggodalmát fejezte ki ciprusi török hatóságok terve miatt, mert az felborítaná a status quót.
A ciprusi török hatóságokkal megbeszéléseket tartottak a tervekről, ám a munkát már az ENSZ-el való megegyezés előtt megkezdték.
„Az ENSZ békefenntartók felszólítják a ciprusi török felet, hogy tartsa tiszteletben az ENSZ fennhatóságát az ütközőzónában, és tartózkodjon minden olyan cselekedettől, amely tovább fokozhatja a feszültséget, továbbá távolítson el minden személyt és gépezetet az ütközőzónából” – közölték.

A tárca szerint a szárazáru-szállító hajó kapitánya nem reagált az orosz félnek arra a felszólítására, hogy állítsa meg a hajót ellenőrzés céljából. A jármű megállásra kényszerítésére az orosz hajó figyelmeztető tüzet nyitott, és felszállt egy orosz Ka–29-es helikopter.
A teherhajó erre megállt, majd miután átvizsgálták, a moszkvai tájékoztatás értelmében folytatta útját az ukrán kikötőbe, írja az MTI.

Nagyon erős robbanások rázták meg Kijevet a péntek reggeli légiriadó alatt – számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál tudósítója.
A jelentés szerint a légiriadó bejelentése után több erős robbanás is hallatszott Kijevben. Később Vitalij Klicsko, a főváros polgármestere megerősítette a robbanásokat. „Robbanások vannak a városban. Maradjanak az óvóhelyeken!” – írta a városvezető.
Ezenkívül a Kijevi Városi Katonai Adminisztráció beszámolt a légvédelem működéséről. „A fővárosban működik a légvédelem. Továbbra is tart a rakétaveszély! Maradjanak az óvóhelyen!” – írta Szerhij Popko a katonai adminisztráció vezetője.
Vitalij Klicsko tájékoztatása szerint rakétadarabok zuhantak az egyik fővárosi gyermekkórház területére. Hozzátette: áldozatok vagy károk nem nincsenek. A katasztrófavédelem kivonult a helyszínre.
Később Popko tisztázta, hogy számos törmelék hullott az Obolony kerületi gyermekkórház területére. Az sérültekre és a károkra vonatkozó adatok megállapítása folyamatban van.

Ukrajnában szombaton háromszor volt országos légiriadó, az utolsó riasztás esetében Oroszország Kinzsal hiperszonikus rakétákkal lőtte Hmelnickij és Zsitomir megyéket – közölte az rbc.ua hírportál a légi riasztások térképére hivatkozva.
Az ukrán fegyveres erők légierő-parancsnokságának jelentése szerint az oroszok rakétákat indítottak Fehéroroszország területéről Ukrajna felé. A Kinzsal rakéták Vinnica, Hmelnickij és Zsitomir megyék irányába repültek.
Később az ukrán fegyveres erők légierő-parancsnoksága azt közölte, hogy a Kinzsal rakétákat az oroszországi Tambov területről indították. Ugyanakkor hangsúlyozta, hogy az agresszorok által indított Kinzsalok Zsitomir, Sztarokonsztyantinyivka és Poltava megye felé tartanak. Rakétaveszélyt jeleztek Kijev, Zsitomir, Csernyihiv, Vinnica, Cserkaszi, Kirovohrad, Szumi, Poltava megyékben.

A svéd rendőrség engedélyezett egy gyűlést Irak stockholmi nagykövetsége elé, ahol a bejelentett két résztvevő az iraki zászló és a Korán elégetését tervezi. Erre a hírre a Sard-párti tömegek megrohamozták a bagdadi svéd nagykövetséget csütörtök éjszaka és felgyújtották az épületét. Az információk szerint senki nem sérült meg a nagykövetség dolgozói közül.
Tüntetők százai rohamozták meg a Bagdad központjában található svéd nagykövetség épületét csütörtök reggel. Megmászták a falait és felgyújtották a diplomáciai központot tiltakozásul a svédországi Korán-égetés miatt.
A nagykövetség összes alkalmazottja biztonságban van, senki nem sérült meg
– közölte a svéd külügyminisztérium. A tárca elítélte a támadást és hangsúlyozta, hogy az iraki hatóságoknak meg kell védeniük a külképviseleteket – írta meg a Reuters.
A csütörtöki tüntetést Muqtada Sadr síita lelkész támogatói hívták össze, hogy tiltakozzanak a szent könyvük meggyalázása ellen. Az akciót a Telegram közösségi média oldalon szervezték. Sard Irak egyik legbefolyásosabb személyisége. Több százezer híve van, akiket gyakran az utcára szólít különböző megmozdulásokra. Ilyen volt tavaly nyáron, amikor elfoglalták Bagdad Zöld Zónáját, ahol halálos összecsapásokba keveredtek.
A nagykövetség felégetésére azt követően került sor, hogy a svéd rendőrség engedélyt adott egy gyülekezésre Irak stockholmi nagykövetsége előtt. A rendőrség a gyűlést jóváhagyó végzésben azt írta, hogy a demonstrációk két személy részvételére lehet számítani. A TT svéd hírügynökség információi szerint
a tüntetésen az iraki zászló és a Korán elégetését tervezik, illetve az egyik résztvevő az a férfi, aki júniusban egy stockholmi mecset előtt már felgyújtotta az iszlám szent könyvét.
Korábban a svéd rendőrség több olyan tüntetésre vonatkozó kérelmet is elutasított, ahol Koránt akartak égetni, ezt biztonsági okokkal tették. Később viszont a svéd bíróság hatályon kívül helyezte a rendőrség döntését, a szólásszabadság védelmére hivatkozva.

A szólásszabadságot nem a megvetés kifejtésére kellene használni a pápa szerint.
A One-Bagdad nevű Telegram-csoportba feltöltött felvételek szerint a tüntetők helyi idő szerint csütörtökön hajnali egy órakor kezdenek gyülekezni a svéd nagykövetség épülete körül, és Sard-párti jelszavakat skandálnak. Nagyjából egy órával később kezdődött a támadás.
Az iraki külügyminisztérium elítélte a támadást a nagykövetség ellen. A kormány utasította a hatóságokat, hogy azonosítsák az agresszív tüntetőket és vonják őket felelősségre. A tüzet a diplomáciai épületben a tűzoltók még az éjszaka eloltották. A hatóságok végül rátámadtak arra a néhány tucat tüntetőre, akik a kiérkezésük után is a helyszínen maradtak. A Sard-pártiak kövekkel dobálták a rendőröket és a tűzoltókat.
