Ismeretlen fegyveresek több száz diákot raboltak el Nigéria északnyugati részén, Kuriga városából. A helyiek megpróbálták kimenteni a gyerekeket, de a fegyveresek visszaverték őket, és egy embert megöltek.
Fegyveresek több mint 280 nyolc és tizenöt év közötti diákot raboltak el az északnyugat-nigériai Kaduna állam egyik iskolájából csütörtökön.
Helyi kormánytisztség-viselők megerősítették az emberrablás hírét, ám a helyszínre érkező Uba Sani, Kaduna kormányzója azt közölte, egyelőre nincs pontos információjuk az elraboltak számáról.
Sani Abullah, az iskola egyik tanára elmondta, a fegyveresek rájuk törtek és a levegőbe lőttek, a személyzetnek pedig ezalatt sikerült kimenekítenie több diákot.

Nigéria északnyugati régiójában az utóbbi években jelentősen megugrott a váltságdíj reményében elkövetett emberrablások száma.
A fegyveres bűnözők, dzsihadisták és az etnikai alapon szerveződő egyéb fegyveres csoportok miatt a közbiztonság az ország észak északkeleti és középső részében is rossz.
Csütörtökön az északkeleti Borno állam hatóságai azt közölték, hogy legkevesebb 200 embert, zömében tűzifát gyűjtő nőket és gyerekeket raboltak el a csádi határtól nem messze.

Északkelet-Nigériában rendkívül rossz a biztonsági helyzet: bár a hadsereg több támaszpontot tart fenn a térségben, jelentős területek állnak dzsihadista csoportok – köztük a Boko Haram, illetve a róla 2016-ban levált és az Iszlám Állam terrorszervezet helyi ágává avanzsált ISWAP (Iszlám Állam Nyugat-afrikai Tartomány) – irányítása alatt.
Decemberben 160 ember vesztette életét a Nigéria központi részén található falvakban elkövetett fegyveres támadásokban.

Yazid Abubakar zamfarai rendőrségi szóvivő megerősítette a támadás tényét és közölte, hogy a rendőrség a bűncselekmény helyszínén, Kasuwar Daji körzetben megerősítette a jelenlétét.
Egy helyi lakos elmondása szerint először lövések dördültek el, majd a fegyveresek rendőröket is meggyilkoltak, és betörtek több házba. Több mint negyven nőt és gyereket, valamint néhány idős embert túsznak elhurcoltak magukkal – tette hozzá az illető, akinek állítása szerint sikerült megszöknie a fegyveresek elől.
Az Afrika legnagyobb gazdaságaként számontartott Nigériára jelentős biztonsági kihívások nehezednek, évente több ezer embert rabolnak el és gyilkolnak meg fegyveres csoportok. Az ország északnyugati régiójában például az utóbbi években jelentősen megugrott a váltságdíj reményében elkövetett emberrablások száma. Bola Tinubu elnök reformjai a gazdasági adatok szerint megélhetési válságot is okoztak.

Az észak-nyugat nigériai Katsina államban egy fegyveres csoport elrabolta nők egy legkevesebb 35 tagú csoportját, miközben ők hajnalban hazafelé tartottak – közölte hétfőn a helyi rendőrség szóvivője, hozzátéve, hogy keresik a támadókat és az elraboltakat.
Abubakar Aliyu elmondta, hogy a nők egyik barátőjüket kísérték haza az esküvője után péntekre virradóan egy faluban, amikor a fegyveresek csapdába ejtették és elrabolták őket. Nasiru Muaz, Katsina állam belbiztonsági felügyelője a szóvivőt úgy pontosította, hogy a helyszínelőktől érkezett hír szerint 53 embert hurcoltak el. A felügyelő kiemelte, hogy az ifjú feleséget hazakísérők nagy hibát követtek el, mert azon a vidéken nagyon aktívak a fegyveres banditák. Egyúttal arra kérte a környékbeli nyolc kerület lakosságát, hogy a hasonló esetek elkerülése végett tartózkodjanak az éjszakai közlekedéstől.
Nigériában az utóbbi időben rendszeressé váltak az emberrablások, amelyek közül ez volt a legjelentősebb; az ország középső- és északnyugati erdeiben bujkáló fegyveres bűnözők az autóutakon, a lakóövezetekben és az iskolák környékén egyaránt rabolnak el embereket, és csak váltságdíj ellenében hajlandók szabadon engedni őket.
Január elején a főváros, Abuja mellet raboltak el öt fiatal lányt, és közülük egyet megöltek, mert az általuk megadott határidőn belül nem kapták meg a követelt váltságdíjat. Az országos felháborodást kiváltó eset után két héttel szintén Katsina államban öltek meg két köztiszteletben álló, elrabolt helyi vezetőt; Kwara államban pedig szintén meggyilkoltak egy helyi vezetőt, a feleségét pedig elrabolták.
A tavaly májusban hatalomra került nigériai elnök, Bola Ahmed Tinubu beiktatását követően hadat üzent ugyan az ország északkeleti és középső részének közbiztonságát súlyosan fenyegető fegyveres bűnözőknek, dzsihadistáknak és az etnikai alapon szerveződő egyéb fegyveres csoportoknak, de a belbiztonsági szolgálat adatai szerint azóta 3964 új emberrablási ügyet regisztráltak.

A települést régóta uraló drogkartell fegyveresei korábban pénzt követeltek a helyi gazdáktól.
A mexikói drogkartellek minden legális vagy illegális üzletből pénzt zsarolnak ki, és néha megtámadnak vagy felgyújtanak farmokat, gazdaságokat vagy üzleteket, amelyek megtagadják a fizetést.
Texcaltitlán település és egy a településsel szomszédos falu gazdáinak ebből lett elegük, és fellázadtak a helyi drogbandák ellen. Az összecsapások december nyolcadikán törtek ki.
A falubeliek sarlóval és vadászpuskával felfegyverkezve üldözőbe vették a bandatagokat. Sokukat lelőtték, majd feldarabolták vagy felgyújtották.
Az összecsapásokban négy falubeli is meghalt.
A kartell ezután megtorlásul 14 embert rabolt el, köztük négy gyereket, másfél és 14 év közöttieket – írja az ABC News.
Az elrabolt felnőttek között van három rendőr és egy sebesült falusi, akit a banda nem sokkal az összecsapás után rabolt el egy kórházból. Váltságdíjat az elraboltakért eddig nem követeltek – közölték az ügyészek.
Egy közeli falu lakói szerint azonban a drogkartell azt követelte, hogy adják át a felkelés vezetőit, cserébe az elrabolt gyerekek és felnőttek szabadon bocsátásáért – írja a The Guardian.

Maliban szabadon engedték Hans-Joachim Lohre német papot, akit tavaly novemberben hurcoltak el a fővárosban, Bamakóban – közölték a nyugat-afrikai ország hatóságai és a helyi érsekség képviselői vasárnap.
A tájékoztatás szerint Lohre, aki mintegy 30 évet élt Maliban, már úton van repülővel hazájába.
A pap 2022 novemberében tűnt el Bamakóban, amikor éppen úton volt egy misére. Lohre a bamakói Keresztény-iszlám Oktatás Intézetében tanított, valamint egy a felekezetek közötti megértést szolgáló központot is vezetett a mali fővárosban.
Az AFP francia hírügynökség szerint egy szervezet sem jelentkezett túszejtőként; a pap egészségi állapotáról, szabadon engedésének körülményeiről nem tettek közzé információkat.
Az utóbbi években az iszlamista erőszakkal küszködő Maliban több keresztény papot is elhurcoltak.
A mali junta az idén rendelte el, hogy a 15 ezer fős ENSZ-misszió (MINUSMA) haladéktalanul hagyja el a nyugat-afrikai országot, arra hivatkozva, hogy nem tudták féken tartani az iszlamista lázadókat. Az egykori gyarmattartó Franciaország, amely szintén az iszlamisták elleni harcban segítette Malit, 2022-ben vonta ki a katonáit.

A rendőrség szerint éles, töltött lőfegyver és valamilyen ismeretlen fajtájú robbanószer is lehet annál a 35 éves férfinál, aki szombat éjjel óta saját négyéves kislányát tartja fogva túszként a hamburgi repülőtéren – számolt be róla az MTI.
„Jelenlegi ismereteink alapján a gyerek fizikailag jó állapotban van. Tárgyalóink tartják a kapcsolatot az apával” – tudatta a rendőrség. A rendőrség tájékoztatásából az derül ki, hogy a férfival török nyelven kommunikálnak.
Sandra Levgrün rendőrségi szóvivő úgy nyilatkozott, hogy a férfi nem követel pénzt, és a hatóság szerint a túszejtést gyermekelhelyezési vita válthatta ki.
Az M1 Híradó beszámolója szerint vasárnap délután is tarthat a túszdráma a hamburgi repülőtéren. Egy férfi még szombaton este hajtott be autójával a kifutópályára. Több lövést is leadott, és feltehetően Molotov-koktélt dobott a kifutópályára. Azóta kiderült, hogy vele van 4 éves kislánya is. A férfi Törökországba akar eljutni. Túsz-tárgyalók és pszichológusok is beszélnek vele. A hatóságok szerint gyermekelhelyezési vita állhat a háttérben.
Rengeteg rendőr jelent meg a hamburgi repülőtéren, röviddel azután hogy szombaton este 8 óra körül egy férfi betört egy rendszámtábla nélküli autóval a kifutópályára.
Az autó vezetője, egy 35 éves Németországban élő török férfi, lövéseket adott le egy pisztolyból.
Szemtanúk felvételei szerint két házi készítésű robbanószert, feltehetően Molotov-koktélokat is a kifutóra dobott.
A tűzoltók a lángokat azonnal eloltották. A férfi autójával a török légitársaság gépe alatt állt meg, amely tele volt utasokkal és indulásra készen állt. Később mindenkit evakuáltak a gépről.
Az éjszaka folyamán a különleges rendőri egységeknek sikerült felvenni a férfival a kapcsolatot, ekkor derült ki, hogy saját gyermekét ejtette túszul, vele akart elutazni Törökországba.
Túsztárgyalók, szakpszichológusok beszéltek a férfival egész éjjel és vasárnap délelőtt is. Német hírforrások szerint török nyelven győzködték a férfit, hogy adja meg magát. Közben a kiürített repülőtérre egyre több rendőr és mentőautó érkezett.
Az incidens közben feljelentést tett a rendőrségen a gyermek anyja, azt állította a férfi erőszakkal vette el tőle közös gyermeküket, egy négy éves kislányt. Azt is mondta, a férfi előre szólt, hogy ezt fogja tenni. A hatóságok szerint a konfliktus hátterében gyermekelhelyezési vita állhat.
Már szombaton este teljesen leállították a forgalmat a hamburgi repülőtéren és törölték az összes vasárnapi járatot is.
Még délelőtt is teljes készültségben volt a rendőrség. A légikikötő tájékoztatása szerint szombaton este az ékező gépeket más repülőterekre irányították, az indulókat pedig törölték. A repülőtér lezárása csaknem 300 járatot és több ezer utast érint.

Fegyveresek hurcoltak el több tucat embert Nigéria északnyugati Zamfara államának két településéről – közölték vasárnap helyi vezetők és lakók.
A motorokon érkezett támadók nyolc emberrel végeztek. Egy helyi elöljáró szerint hatvan embert – többségében nőket és gyerekeket – hurcoltak el.
Helyi lakosok arról számoltak be, hogy a fegyveresek először a hadsereg egyik előretolt bázisát támadták meg a vidéki Magami községnél, de a katonák visszaverték őket. Mint mondták, a fegyveresek három csoportra osztották erőiket, az egyik csapat a bázist, a másik kettő Magami és a közeli Kabasa községet támadta, ahol a halálos áldozatok voltak és az emberrablások történtek.
Az elmúlt években fegyveres bandák helyi közösségek százaira támadtak rá Nigéria északnyugati részében. A bűnszervezetek gyakorta hurcolnak el embereket váltságdíj reményében.

A bűnszervezetek váltságdíjért rabolnak el gyerekeket.
Az idén eddig négy baptista templomot ért támadás Kaduna államban. 2021 júliusában 120 gyereket hurcoltak el a Bethel baptista iskolából, a diákok többsége hónapokig volt fogságban.
