A kormány és a köztársasági elnök távozását követelte az a több ezer ember hétfőn, aki a szerbiai parlament épületétől a kormány épületéig tartó sétával tiltakozott, mert véleményük szerint az ország vezetése nem megfelelő módon reagált a múlt héten történt iskolai és utcai lövöldözésre.
A szervezők tájékoztatása szerint a Szerbia az erőszak ellen elnevezésű megmozdulás keretében Belgrád utcáin mintegy ötvenezer ember vonult végig hétfőn a koraesti órákban. Más szerbiai városokban szintén tartottak csendes tiltakozásokat.
A tüntetést az ellenzéki parlamenti pártok – a Demokrata Párt, a Néppárt, a Baloldali Zöld Front, az Együtt, a Szabadság és Igazságosság Pártja, a Szabad Polgárok Mozgalma, a Fordulat Mozgalom, valamint az Egység Szakszervezet – szervezték annak a 17 halottnak és 21 sebesültnek a tiszteletére, akit a múlt héten Belgrádban és Mladenovac közelében ölt meg két ámokfutó.
Múlt szerdán egy 13 éves fiú egy iskolai lövöldözés során megölte nyolc társát és az iskolaőrt, valamint egy tanárt és további hat diákot megsebesített. Egy nappal később egy 20 éves férfi gépkarabéllyal lőtt le nyolc embert, és további tizennégyet megsebesített a Belgrád melletti Mladenovacon és környékén.
A tiltakozáson nem hangoztak el beszédek, a tiltakozók egy ideig csendesen vonultak az utcákon, majd „Mondjon le!” felkiáltásokkal követelték a kormány és a köztársasági elnök távozását. A szervezők ugyanakkor kiadtak egy közleményt követeléseikről. Ezek között szerepel, hogy sürgősen szabjanak gátat az erőszak népszerűsítésének a médiában és a közösségi térben, váltsák le a médiahatóság tagjait, tiltsák be a gyűlöletet és erőszakot népszerűsítő nyomtatott sajtótermékeket, és vonják meg az országos sugárzási jogot azoktól a televízióktól, amelyek az erőszakot népszerűsítik. Követelik emellett minden erőszakos tartalom betiltását a televízióban.
A követelések között szerepel a belügyminiszternek, a titkosszolgálatok vezetőjének, valamint az oktatási miniszternek a lemondása. Utóbbi vasárnap már benyújtotta lemondását.
Követelik emellett a parlament ülésének összehívását, amelyen a kormány felelősségét vizsgálnák a lövöldözések ügyében, illetve hosszú távú megoldásokat keresnének, amellyel megakadályozható lenne, hogy a mostanihoz hasonló esetek előforduljanak.
A tömeggyilkosságokra adott válaszként a szerb kormány a vonatkozó törvények szigorítását jelentette be, illetve egyhónapos amnesztiát hirdetett az illegális fegyverek és lőszerek leadására.
Mivel az iskolai lövöldözés elkövetője még nem töltötte be a 14. életévét, büntetőjogilag nem vonható felelősségre. A mladenovaci ámokfutás elkövetője pedig októberben tölti be 21. életévét, így a szerbiai büntető törvénykönyv értelmében életfogytig tartó börtönbüntetésre nem ítélhető, a legszigorúbb kiszabható ítélet 20 év letöltendő szabadságvesztés. A kormány a büntethetőség alsó korhatárának 14-ről 12 évre csökkentését is bejelentette.
A kilencvenes évek délszláv háborúi után rengeteg fegyver maradt a civil lakosságnál is, Szerbiában száz lakosra átlagosan 40 lőfegyver jut. Iskolai lövöldözések viszont nagyon ritkán fordulnak elő az országban, és azokat eddig egyetlen esetben sem fiatalkorú követte el. Az utóbbi évek legsúlyosabb ámokfutása éppen tíz évvel ezelőtt történt, amikor a Belgrádtól 50 kilométerre délre található Velika Ivanca faluban egy férfi 13 rokonát gyilkolta meg.

A január 31-i adatok szerint az ENSZ Emberi Jogi Megfigyelő Missziója Ukrajnában 133 szexuális erőszak áldozatává vált személyt vett nyilvántartásba: 85 férfit, 45 nőt és három kislányt – jelentette ki Matilda Bogner, az ENSZ ukrajnai emberi jogi megfigyelő missziójának (UNHMU) vezetője egy kijevi sajtótájékoztatón, számolt be az Interfax-Ukrajina.
„Szörnyű ár, amit az emberek a háborúért fizetnek, ez azokban a konfliktussal összefüggő erőszakos cselekedetekben is megmutatkozik, amelyeket tavaly február 24-e óta vettünk nyilvántartásba. A január 31-i adatok szerint 133, szexuális erőszak áldozatává vált személyt regisztráltunk, 85 férfit, 45 nőt és három kislányt” – mondta.
A jelentés szerint 109 esetben az elkövető „valószínűsíthetően a katonaság, a bűnüldöző szervek és az orosz büntetés-végrehajtási intézetek személyzete”.
Az ENSZ ukrajnai emberi jogi megfigyelő missziójának adatai szerint 24 esetet „valószínűleg a Biztonsági Szolgálat, a Nemzeti Rendőrség, ukrán civilek vagy a területvédelmi egységek tagjai követtek el”.
Az ENSZ-misszió vezetője megjegyezte, hogy a szexuális erőszak többnyire civilek vagy hadifoglyok fogva tartása során, valamint az orosz fegyveres erők ellenőrzése alatt álló lakóterületeken fordul elő.

Három kamaszt értesítettek az ellenük indított eljárásról, egy 14 éves iskolás lány megerőszakolásával vádolják őket. A fiatalokat két év próbaidőre ítélték, a szülőknek pedig 60 ezer hrivnya erkölcsi kártérítést kell kifizetniük az áldozatnak.
Az incidens még 2021 nyarán történt az egyik hegyvidéki településen. A kamaszok mindent videóra vettek, majd pedig közzétették azt az interneten. A bírósági tárgyalás során beismerték tettüket, a szülők nem tudtak magyarázatot adni viselkedésükre.
Az áldozat csak a videofelvétel közzététele után mondta el szüleinek, hogy mi történt, barátai szerint zárkózottá és szomorúvá vált.

„Egy követőm fiúk oldalait osztotta meg velem, akik bulikat rendeznek, lányokat hívnak meg, akiket leitatnak és Xanaxot adnak nekik, majd pedig meztelenül és eszméletlen állapotban kamerázzák őket. Egyiküket meg is erőszakolták, a videót zárt Telegram-csatornákon terjesztették” – olvashatjuk a bejegyzésben.
Elmondása szerint a fiatalemberek ivano-frankivszki lakosok. Hangsúlyozta továbbá, hogy az áldozatok egyelőre nem mertek feljelentést tenni, a videó alapján nem sikerült még őket azonosítani.
A hatóságok a felvételek láttán azonnal nyomozni kezdtek az ügyben, azonosították a fiatalembereket és azok tartózkodási helyét, jelenleg is folynak a házkutatások.

Mintegy tízezer rendőr vonult fel hétfőn a belga főváros, Brüsszel utcán, hogy felhívja a figyelmet a rendfenntartó hatóságokkal szembeni erőszakra, miután nemrégiben egy fiatal rendőr meghalt és egy társa megsebesült egy késeléses merényletben – jelentette az RTL Info hírportál a kezdeményező szakszervezetek közlései alapján.
A tüntetést az országos rendőrszakszervezetek szervezték, akik konkrét válaszokat várnak a belga kormánytól aggodalmaikra. Az érdekképviseleti szervek és Alexander De Croo belga kormányfő a délutáni órákban egyeztettek, de nyilatkozataik szerint a szakszervezetek csalódottan távoztak a tárgyalásokról.
A szakszervezetek több humán erőforrást, több biztonsági felszerelést és egy kiszámíthatóbb életpályamodell előmozdítását kérték a kormánytól. „Több órán keresztül tárgyaltunk, de nem nagyon sikerült egymást megérteni” – mondta az RTL Infónak Carlo Medo, a rendvédelmi dolgozók országos szakszervezetének elnöke.
Az érdekképviseleti szervek szerint a rendvédelmi dolgozók azért is dühösek, mert a kormány nem tartotta be korábbi ígéreteit a hatósági személyek ellen elkövetett erőszak súlyosabb szankcionálására és a bérmegállapodásra vonatkozóan. Bejelentették, hogy további tüntetéseket fognak szervezni.

Agyonlőttek két újságírót Haitin, akik az erőszakról tudósítottak a főváros, Port-au-Prince egyik bandák kezére jutott nyomornegyedéből, holttesteiket pedig felgyújtották – közölte kedden a helyi Független Újságírók Szövetsége, hozzátéve, hogy idén ez már a második ilyen eset.
A tájékoztatás szerint Tayson Latigue és Frantzsen Charles egy hétfős újságírói csoporttal volt, amikor tűz alá vették őket vasárnap a Cité Soleil nevű kerületben, ahol éppen az erőszakhullám súlyosbodását – többek között egy 17 éves lány nemrég történt meggyilkolásának körülményeit – vizsgálták.
Dieudonne St-Cyr, az újságírószövetség egyik tagja a Metropole Haiti helyi rádiónak elmondta, hogy az újságírók két rivális banda kereszttüzébe kerültek. Hozzátette, hogy társaik sértetlenül el tudtak menekülni, de a két áldozat holttestét nem tudták visszaszerezni.
Az újságírószövetség utálatos, hitvány cselekedetnek nyilvánította a történteket, és követelte, hogy a kormány javítson az egyre romló biztonsági helyzeten az egyre gyakoribbá váló gyilkosságok és emberrablások közepette. Leszögezte egyben, hogy az újságírók csak a munkájukat végezték, és nem követtek el semmiféle bűncselekményt.
A szervezet hangsúlyozta, hogy „a gyilkosságok újabb bizonyítékai annak, hogy az állam képtelen megvédeni az életeket és a magántulajdont, ami nem más, mint az emberi jogok megsértése”.
Ariel Henry miniszterelnök szintén elítélte a „barbár” gyilkosságokat, amelyek mélységesen megdöbbentették – fogalmazott.
Januárban két újságírót öltek meg bandák, akik a déli – szintén problémás – Laboule negyedből tudósítottak.
Haitin valóságos bandaháborúk dúlnak, számos térség pedig már kikerült a központi kormány ellenőrzése alól. Az erőszakhullám emberek százainak életét követelte, és ezrek voltak kénytelen elmenekülni otthonaikból. A bandák azt követően erősödtek meg, hogy Jovenel Moise elnök merénylet áldozata lett 2021 júliusában.
