Legalább huszonkét emberrel végzett egy belső menekülteket elszállásoló iskolát ért izraeli légicsapás Gázavárosban – közölték szombaton a palesztin hatóságok. Az izraeli hadsereg jelentése szerint a Hamász egyik parancsnoki központjára mértek csapást.
Többnyire nők és gyerekek haltak meg a szombati légicsapásban – közölte a gázai egészségügyi minisztérium. A Hamász által irányított kormányzati médiahivatal tájékoztatása szerint 13 gyerek és 6 nő van a halottak között.
Az izraeli hadsereg azonban azt állítja, hogy az egykoron iskolának használt épületben a Hamász parancsnoki központja működött, és újfent azzal vádolta a palesztin szervezetet, hogy polgári létesítményeket használ katonai célokra.
A Reuters helyszíni felvételein felrobbantott falak és kiégett bútorok láthatók, az egyik szoba mennyezetén pedig lukak, melyeken át az emberek a holmijukat próbálták kimenteni.
Az egyik szemtanú, Szaid al-Malahi beszámolója szerint a két rakéta az iskola játszóterén levő gyerekeket és nőket találta el, a közelben egyetlen férfi sem tartózkodott.
A Gázai övezet déli részén található Rafahban négy egészségügyi dolgozóval végzett egy minisztériumi raktárépületeket eltaláló izraeli légicsapás – közölte a gázai egészségügyi minisztérium, hozzátéve, hogy a mentők nem tudtak a halottak vagy a sérültek közelébe jutni.
Az izraeli hadsereg közleményben tudatta, hogy a május óta Rafahban tevékenykedő csapatai az elmúlt hetekben több tucat fegyveressel végeztek, továbbá felszámolták a katonai infrastruktúrát és az alagútaknákat is.

Négy izraeli katona életét vesztette a Gázai övezet déli részén kedden – közölte szerdán az izraeli hadsereg, hozzátéve, hogy további öt katona megsebesült, közülük hárman súlyosan.
A négy, 20 és 23 év közötti katona a Gázai övezet déli részén veszítette életét. Egy 20 éves női katonaorvos is van közöttük, ő az első katonanő, aki a 11 hónapja tartó gázai izraeli offenzíva során meghalt. A hadsereg rövid közleményében azt írta, hogy a katonák „a gázai harcok során estek el”, viszont a Ynet izraeli hírportál szerint Rafahban fegyverek és lőszerek után kutattak egy épületben, amikor robbanás történt, ez okozta a halálukat, illetve sebesülésüket.
A négy halálesettel 348-ra emelkedett az izraeli hadsereg által a Gázai övezetben indított szárazföldi offenzíva október 27-i kezdete óta meghalt izraeli katonák száma. A háborút a Hamász palesztin iszlamista mozgalom október 7-i Izrael elleni támadása robbantotta ki, amelynek következtében 1205 ember, többségében polgári személy vesztette életét, és az iszlamisták mintegy 240 embert ejtettek túszul és hurcoltak Gázába – derül ki az AFP francia hírügynökség hivatalos izraeli adatokon alapuló számításából.
Az ezt követően indított izraeli megtorlócsapások Gázában humanitárius katasztrófát okoztak, ezekben legalább 41 226 ember meghalt a gázai Hamász-kormány egészségügyi minisztériumának adatai szerint.

Humanitárius zónára mért csapást az izraeli hadsereg hétfő éjszaka a palesztin lakosságú Gázai övezet déli részén, Hán-Júnisznál, a palesztin katasztrófavédelem bejelentése szerint a támadásban 40-en meghaltak és 60-an megsebesültek.
Az izraeli hadsereg közlése szerint a célpont a palesztin övezetet irányító, szélsőséges Hamász szervezet fegyvereseinek egyik központja volt. A támadó helikopter „magas rangú terroristákra sújtott le, akik a Hán-Júnisz melletti humanitárius zónában létesített parancsnoki központból tevékenykedtek” – áll a közleményben. Hozzátették, hogy a „gázai terrorcsoportok továbbra is rendszeresen polgári és humanitárius létesítményeket használnak ki izraeliek elleni terrorakciókhoz”.
Palesztin részről tagadták, hogy a támadás helyszínén palesztin fegyveresek tartózkodtak. A Gázai övezet katasztrófavédelmi hatósága szerint 20-40 sátor megsemmisült.
Az izraeli hadsereg hétfőn megállított egy humanitárius szállítmányt is a Gázai övezet északi részében, szintén arra hivatkozva, hogy értesülései szerint a konvojban „palesztin gyanúsítottak” tartózkodnak. Az ENSZ palesztinokat segítő szervezete (UNRWA) szerint az ellenőrök ENSZ-alkalmazottakat is fenyegettek, és a világszervezet képviseletéhez tartozó járművekben tettek kárt. A közlés szerint csak közel 8 óra vizsgálódás után engedték tovább a kocsioszlopot.

Az Anera nevű amerikai segélyszervezet szombati közleménye szerint konvojuk orvosi ellátmányt és üzemanyagot szállított a Rafahban lévő Vörös Félhold kórházba, amikor egy rakéta eltalálta a konvoj élén haladó gépjárművet. Tudatták továbbá, hogy az incidensben, amely még csütörtökön történt, az Anera munkatársai közül senki sem sérült meg.
Az áldozatok, akik a szervezet szerint egy helyi szállítócég biztonsági alkalmazottai voltak, korábban arra hivatkozva vették át az övezetbe belépő konvoj felvezető járművének irányítását, hogy az útvonal nem biztonságos, és fennáll a fosztogatás veszélye.
Az Anera elismerte, hogy noha az izraeli hatóságokkal egyeztetett eljárás szerint a konvojban fegyvertelen biztonsági őröket kellett volna alkalmazni, a segélymunkások nem tartották fenyegetőnek a támadás későbbi áldozatainak fellépését, ezért nem ellenőrizték őket, és nem is egyeztettek róluk az izraeli hatóságokkal.
Hozzátették ugyanakkor, hogy a légicsapás előtt semmilyen figyelmeztetést nem kaptak az izraeli erőktől. Az izraeli hadsereg azzal indokolta a támadást, hogy „több fegyveres támadó átvette az irányítást a konvoj elején haladó jármű felett”, a légicsapásra pedig csak ennek ellenőrzése, majd a jármű pontos bemérését követően került sor.
A segélyszállító konvojokat és humanitárius szervezeteket nem először éri csapás a Gázai övezetben a Hamász tavaly október 7-i összehangolt támadása és Izrael ennek nyomán indított katonai beavatkozása óta. Áprilisban a World Central Kitchen (WCK) konvoját három izraeli légicsapás érte, amelyekben a nemzetközi segélyszervezet hét munkatársa vesztette életét.
Egy augusztusban közzétett, az ausztrál kormány által elrendelt, és az izraeli hatóságokkal együttműködve zajló vizsgálat eredménye szerint az izraeli hadsereg azért lőtt ki rakétákat a WCK konvojára, mert súlyos műveleti hibák következtében tévesen azt hitték, hogy azt eltérítették a Hamász harcosai, akik valójában szerződéses helyi biztonsági őrök voltak.

Az EU külügyi biztosa azonnali háromnapos tűzszünetet sürgetett, hogy lehetővé tegyék a palesztin gyermekek beoltását.
Az Európai Unió külügyi vezetője azonnali háromnapos, humanitárius tűzszünetre szólított fel a Gázai övezetben, hogy a kiskorú lakosságot be lehessen oltani a gyorsan terjedő gyermekbénulás vírusa ellen.
Josep Borrell az X közösségi platformon közzétett bejegyzésében azt írta, hogy „a gyermekbénulás gyors terjedése minden gyermeket fenyeget a Gázai övezetben, akiket már legyengített a kitelepítés, a nélkülözés, az alultápláltság”.
Az ENSZ ügynökségei, az Egészségügyi Világszervezet és az Unicef készen állnak mintegy 640 ezer gyermek beoltására.
Közel 30 segélyszervezet írt levelet arról, hogy az izraeli katonai műveletek miatt tevékenységük ellehetetlenült Gázában. Az Oxfam is köztük van, és azt írja, hogy nem tudnak minimális biztonsággal sem eljutni a palesztin civilekhez.
„A háromnapos tűzszünet teljességgel elégtelen a Gázai övezetben kialakult gyermekbénulás-válság kezeléséhez” – állítja a segélyszervezet regionális menedszere. „Másrészt, ez nem az a fegyverszünet, amire szükségünk lene. Ez egy tűzszünet… A lakosság folyamatos mozgásban van. Így jelenleg nagyon nehéz humanitárius segítséget nyújtani Gázában egy olyan lakosságnak, amelyik folyamatosan úton van. Néhány napnál tovább nem tud egy helyen maradni.”
Több mint két évtizeddel azután, hogy Gázában sikeresen felszámolták a gyermekbénulást, ott ismét megjelent a betegség, mivel a háború sújtotta övezet 10 hónapja izraeli katonai műveletek színtere. A súlyos esetek visszafordíthatatlan bénuláshoz vezetnek.

Számos sikertelen próbálkozás után az izraeli hadseregnek sikerült újabb túszt kiszabadítania a Hamász fogságából, a Gázai övezetből. Az 52 éves férfi egyike volt annak a 250 embernek, akiket közel egy évvel ezelőtt a terrortámadás során hurcoltak el és tartottak fogva. A jelentések szerint még 110 túsz lehet a szervezetnél, akik közül valószínűleg egyharmad már nem él.
Az izraeli hadsereg kedden közölte, hogy kimentett egyet a Hamász október 7-i támadásában elrabolt több tucat ember közül, amely kirobbantotta a jelenleg is tartó gázai háborút. A sikeres mentés ritka örömteli pillanatot jelentett az izraeliek számára a hónapok óta tartó háború közepette, de egyben újabb fájdalmas emlékeztető is volt arra, hogy túszok sokasága továbbra is fogságban van a nemzetközi erőfeszítések ellenére, amelyek egy olyan tűzszüneti megállapodás megkötésére irányulnak, amelynek értelmében szabadon engednék őket – írta meg az AP.
A hadsereg mindössze annyit közölt, hogy Qaid Farhan Alkadit „egy összetett művelet során mentették ki a Gázai övezet déli részén”.

Az izraeli hadsereg (IDF) hétfő éjjel kihozta a Gázai övezetből hat elrabolt izraeli túsz holttestét, akiket már halva találtak – közölte a katonai szóvivő kedd reggel.
Avraham Monder, Chaim Perry, Alex Dancyg és Joram Metzger Nir Óz kibucban, Nadav Popelval és Jagev Bohstab a Gázai övezet szomszédságában megtámadott Nirim kibucban élt. Monder haláláról csak kedden értesültek hozzátartozói, a többiek halálát már korábban bejelentették az izraeli hatóságok.
A holttesteket Hán-Juniszban egy alagútból hozták elő az izraeli katonák. A szakemberek becslése szerint Mondert már márciusban megölték.
A kibucok bejelentették, hogy temetőikben helyezik örök nyugalomra a megölt túszokat, és közleményeikben emlékeztettek a túszalku mihamarabbi megkötésének szükségességére.
„Joram Metzger testének visszatérése a legnagyobb bizonyítéka azon egyezmény fontosságának, amely a lehető leghamarabb visszaadja fiainkat és lányainkat, mielőtt túl késő lenne” – hangsúlyozta közleményében Nir Óz kibuc.

Izrael fokozta légicsapásait csütörtökön a Gázai övezetben, aminek következtében legalább negyven palesztin vesztette életét – közölték csütörtökön a palesztinok lakta övezet egészségügyi hatóságai.
A tájékoztatás szerint légitámadás érte a térség központi részén található Bureidzs és a közeli Nuszeirat menekülttáborokat.
A légicsapásoknak 15, illetve 4 halálos áldozatuk volt.
A Gázai övezet legsűrűbben lakott menekülttáborai közé tartozó Bureidzset és Nuszeiratot Izrael a radikális iszlamista Hamász fellegvárainak tekinti.
Ezenkívül Gázaváros szívében egy házat bombatalálat ért, megölve öt palesztint, míg a déli Hán Júniszban egy ember életét követelte, és többeket megsebesített egy másik légicsapás.
Szintén a nap folyamán tizenöten meghaltak, és mintegy harmincan megsebesültek két iskola elleni légitámadásban Gázavárostól keletre – közölte a térség polgári védelmi szolgálata.
Az izraeli hadsereg beszámolója szerint az utóbbi 24 órában több tucat célpontot támadtak a Gázai övezetben, ideértve rakétaindító állásokat is. Kiemelte, hogy
Gázaváros Tuffah elővárosában a Hamász parancsnoki és irányító központjait támadták, amelyeket az Abdel-Fattah Hamúda és al-Zahra iskolákban rendeztek be a szélsőségesek.
Izrael ismételten azzal vádolta a Hamászt, hogy saját katonai céljaira használja a polgári létesítményeket, amit a radikálisok tagadnak.
A Hamász katonai szárnya és az Iszlám Dzsihád terrorszervezet közlése szerint tankelhárító rakétákkal és aknavetőgránátokkal veszteségeket okoztak a Gázai övezetben tevékenykedő izraeli erőknek.
