Több száz koszovói veterán csapott össze a rendőrséggel a pristinai parlament épülete előtt hétfőn, az egykori katonák azért tiltakoztak, mert a minimálbér növeléséről szóló törvényjavaslatból a veteránok juttatásainak emelését kihagyták – közölte internetes oldalán a Koha Ditore című pristinai napilap.
A parlament ülését, amelyen a közszférában dolgozók minimálbéréről is szó lett volna, nem sokkal később határozatképtelenség miatt elnapolták.
A jelenlegi törvény szerint Koszovóban a minimálbér 170 eurót tesz ki, és ekkora juttatást kapnak az egykori katonák is, a tervezett növeléssel a minimálbér 250 euróra emelkedne, ám csak a közszférában dolgozók számára, a veteránok támogatása továbbra is 170 euró maradna.
A Koha Ditore beszámolója szerint a rendőrség könnygázzal oszlatta fel az egykori Koszovói Felszabadítási Hadsereg (UCK) veteránjainak tüntetését. A volt katonák a könnygázgránátok ellenére behatoltak a parlament udvarába, ám az épületbe már nem tudtak bejutni. Sajtóbeszámolók szerint legalább egy rendőr megsérült az összecsapás során.
Az 1998-1999-es szerb-koszovói konfliktus idején gerillaakcióiról elhíresült UCK tettei máig vitatottak. Míg a szerbek szemében az UCK egykori vezetői és tagjai mind háborús bűnösök, a koszovóiak többsége hősként tekint a szerbek elleni harcok vezetőire. Az UCK egykori katonái között több máig aktív politikus is található. Az 1998-1999-es szerb-koszovói konfliktus idején elkövetett feltételezett háborús bűnöket vizsgáló koszovói különleges bíróság május közepén ítélte négy és fél évig tartó börtönbüntetésre az UCK veteránjait tömörítő szövetség két vezetőjét a tanúk megfélemlítése, valamint védett tanúk életének veszélybe sodrása miatt. Hashim Thaci államfőként, Ramush Haradinaj pedig kormányfőként akkor mondott le hivataláról, amikor a különleges bíróság beidézte.

Bosszúból cselekedhetett az a fiatal férfi, aki péntek este gépkarabéllyal nyitott tüzet Koszovóban egy iskolabuszra megölve két gyereket és egy felnőttet – közölte a Kurir című helyi lap.
A Kurir értesülése szerint az elkövető előzőleg illetlenül viselkedett a buszon, zaklatva a lányokat. A sofőr és az ellenőr ezért leszállíttatta a járműről. A fiatal férfi megvárta, míg a busz visszafelé indult és tüzet nyitott rá egy gépkarabélyból – tette hozzá a lap.
Az NTV orosz hírtelevízió szerint a koszovói rendőrség is bosszúból elkövetett cselekményt, nem pedig terrorcselekményt sejt a háttérben. Az eset Gllogjan településen történt.
A golyózáporban meghalt a buszsofőr és egy 17, illetve egy 19 éves diák. Az maszkot viselő elkövető elmenekült a helyszínről, nagy erőkkel keresi őt a rendőrség. A helyi sajtó értesülései szerint a buszon utazó diákok albán nemzetiségűek voltak.

Koszovó 2008-ban egyoldalúan kiáltotta ki elszakadását Szerbiától, amit Belgrád azóta sem hajlandó elismerni, és továbbra is saját, déli tartományának tartja a többségében albánok lakta területet. Míg a világ több mint száz országa elismeri Koszovó függetlenségét, Szerbiához hasonlóan Oroszország szerint sem független államról van szó.

Molotov-koktélokkal és botokkal felfegyverezett szerbek torlaszolták el autóikkal az észak-koszovói Mitrovica utcáit. A szerdai összecsapásokban 6 rendőr és egy szerb civil sérült meg, 8 rendbontót őrizetbe vettek. A nyugat-balkáni régióban azóta újult ki az etnikai ellentét, mióta a szerb elnök Aleksandar Vučić egymás után hozza a Koszovót sújtó utazási és kereskedelmi korlátozásokat.

Összecsapott a koszovói rendőrség szerdán a koszovói Mitrovicában (Kosovska Mitrovica) azokkal a koszovói szerbekkel, akik egy csempészetellenes akciósorozat ellen tüntettek Észak-Koszovó több településén – közölte a pristinai és a szerbiai sajtó.
A koszovói rendőrség egy razziája során szerdán több élelmiszerüzletet és gyógyszertárat is átvizsgáltak, csempészárut keresve. A rendőrségi akcióra a helyi szerbek tettlegességgel reagáltak, kövekkel dobálták meg a rendőröket, és járművekkel torlaszolták el az utakat.
A helyszínre érkezett a koszovói rendőrség különleges alakulata (Rosu), amely könnygázgrátánokkal igyekezett oszlatni a tömeget, később pedig lövéseket is leadtak, a helyszíni jelentések szerint egy férfi súlyosan meg is sebesült.
Az összecsapások hírének hallatán Aleksandar Vucic szerb elnök lemondta szerdai programjait, és délután Koszovóban találkozik a helyi szerbek vezetőivel. Ana Brnabic miniszterelnök pedig a nemzetközi közösséget kérte arra, hogy lépjen közbe, és fogja vissza a túlkapásokra vetemedett Albin Kurti koszovói miniszterelnököt. „A helyzet több mint drámai, és ez egy utolsó pillanat, amikor egyértelmű reakcióra van szükség, hogy megállítsák Pristina őrült politikáját” – hangsúlyozta a szerb kormányfő.
Petar Petkovic, a szerb kormány Koszovó-ügyi irodájának a vezetője rendkívüli sajtótájékoztatóján azokat a képeket is megmutatta, amelyeket a koszovói különleges rendőri alakulat készített az elkobzott csempészáruról. A szerb politikus szerint néhány tábla csokoládé és pár palack üdítő miatt nem kellett volna a különleges rendőrséget és a páncélos járműveket ráküldeni a szerbekre.
Koszovó 2008-ban egyoldalúan kiáltotta ki függetlenségét Szerbiától, de Belgrád ezt azóta sem hajlandó elismerni, és továbbra is saját, déli tartományának tartja a többségében albánok lakta területet. Koszovó északi részén több mint 50 ezres szerb kisebbség él, amely szintén nem ismeri el a koszovói kormányt, így szerbiai dokumentumokkal rendelkezik, amelyeket egyre kevésbé fogadnak el a koszovói hatóságok.
Szeptember végén is hasonlóan feszült volt a helyzet a két fél között. A koszovói szerbek majdnem két hétig akadályozták a határátkelést Szerbia és Koszovó között, mert igazságtalannak tartották, hogy a szerb rendszámtáblával rendelkezőknek az országba lépéskor ideiglenes koszovói táblára kellett váltaniuk. A koszovói fél azzal indokolta a rendelkezést, hogy a brüsszeli közvetítéssel zajló szerb-koszovói megállapodás egyik pontja a rendszámtáblák elismerésének kölcsönössége volt, és mivel Szerbia évek óta ideiglenes szerb tábla használatára kötelezi a koszovói rendszámtáblával az országba lépőket, Koszovónak nem maradt más választása, mint hasonló intézkedéseket foganatosítani. A helyzet odáig fajult, hogy a koszovói részen a Rosu, a határ szerb oldalán pedig már a katonaság várta az utasításokat, amikor brüsszeli közvetítéssel sikerült megoldást találni a problémára.

Az öt feltételezett terrorista felszerelése A beszámoló szerint az illetékes ügyészség azt gyanítja, hogy az elfogott férfiak terrorista támadásra készültek, illetve veszélyeztették Koszovó alkotmányos rendjét és biztonságát, valamint fegyvereket és robbanóanyagot állítottak elő, adtak el, illetve vittek Koszovóba, és szállítottak külföldre.
Az ügyészség több hónapos nyomozást követően csapott le a feltételezett terroristákra. A sajtó beszámolói szerint az egyik letartóztatott kapcsolatban állt iszlám szélsőséges terroristákkal is. Ő 2015-ben Törökországban 75 napot töltött börtönben terrorizmus gyanújával, majd kiadták Koszovónak, ahol egy év és öt hónap börtönbüntetésre ítélték.
A koszovói parlament 2015-ben fogadta el a külföldi harcokban való részvételt tiltó törvényt. A jogszabály 15 évig terjedő börtönbüntetéssel sújtja azokat, akik külföldi katonai, félkatonai vagy rendőri egységekhez csatlakozva zsoldosként vesznek részt bármilyen összetűzésben Koszovó területén kívül. Emellett bünteti azokat is, akik a harcokban való részvételre buzdítanak vagy toboroznak másokat.
Az 1,8 milliós Koszovó lakosságának több mint 95 százaléka iszlám vallású, szélsőségesek azonban csak kis számban vannak jelen az országban.

A koszovói belügyminisztérium két irodáját támadták meg a koszovói-szerb határon a helyi szerbek, így fejezve ki elégedetlenségüket, hogy a pristinai kormány döntése értelmében hétfő óta a szerb rendszámtáblával rendelkezőknek az országba lépéskor ideiglenes koszovói táblára kell váltaniuk – közölte rendőrségi tájékoztatásra hivatkozva a Koha Ditore című pristinai napilap az internetes oldalán szombaton.
A tájékoztatás szerint Zubin Potokban felgyújtották a gépjárművek regisztrációját végző irodát, míg Zvecanban két kézigránátot dobtak a helyi irodára, de azok nem robbantak fel. Egyik támadásban sem sérült meg senki.
Az észak-koszovói szerbek hétfő óta akadályozzák a koszovói–szerb határon történő átkelést, mert szeptember 20. óta a koszovói fél leszedeti a szerb rendszámtáblákat a belépő autókról, helyettük pedig az autósoknak öt euróért (körülbelül 1760 forint) két hónapra érvényes ideiglenes táblát kell kiváltaniuk a határon.
Albin Kurti koszovói miniszterelnök szerint eljött az ideje annak, hogy Szerbia és Koszovó kölcsönösen elismerje egymás rendszámtábláit, mert ez lehetővé tenné a szabadabb mozgást az emberek és az áruk számára, valamint csökkentené a feszültséget is a két ország határán.
Pristina azt állítja, hogy nem jogellenes, ami történik, hiszen a brüsszeli közvetítéssel zajló szerb–koszovói megállapodás egyik pontja a rendszámtáblák elismerésének kölcsönössége volt, és mivel Szerbia évek óta ideiglenes szerb tábla használatára kötelezi a koszovói rendszámtáblával az országba lépőket, Koszovónak nem maradt más választása, mint hasonló intézkedéseket foganatosítani.
Koszovó 2008-ban egyoldalúan kiáltotta ki függetlenségét Szerbiától, de Belgrád ezt azóta sem hajlandó elismerni, és továbbra is saját, déli tartományának tartja a többségében albánok lakta területet. Koszovó északi részén több mint 50 ezres szerb kisebbség él, amely szintén nem ismeri el a koszovói kormányt, így szerbiai dokumentumokkal rendelkezik, amelyeket egyre kevésbé fogadnak el a koszovói hatóságok. A belgrádi vezetés szerint ha Szerbia elismerné a koszovói rendszámtáblákat, az azt jelentené, hogy elfogadja Koszovó önálló állami létét, erre pedig nem kerülhet sor. Pénteken a szerb hadsereg határ menti egységeit elsőfokú készültségbe helyezték.

A koszovói férfi azért kereste fel az egyik helyi kórházat, mert fájdalmat érzett a gyomrában. A röntgenkép azt is megmutatta, miért.
A Metro beszámolója szerint egy 33 éves férfi egészben nyelt le egy Nokia 3310-es mobiltelefont, a készüléket pedig csak sebészi úton lehetett eltávolítani belőle.
Az orvosok szerint a beteg élete veszélyben volt, mert a gyomra nem tudta megemészteni a készüléket. Ez volt egyébként a szerencséje is, mert ha a gyomorsava szétmarja a telefon akkumulátorát, abba egész biztosan belehal.
A Skender Teljaku, az operációt elvégző orvosi csapat vezetője a Facebookon is megosztott egy röntgenfelvételt, amelyen jól látni a gyomorban lévő telefont.
Emellett egy másik fotót is megosztott, amin már a kioperált 3310-es látható.
A sebészeknek sikerült egy endoszkópos műtéttel kiemelniük a tárgyat, így nem kellett felvágni a beteg gyomrát. A szakember azt mondta, elégedett volt a műtéti végeredménnyel. A beteg egyébként saját maga jelentkezett a kórházban, miután a telefon lenyelését követően fájdalmat érzett a gyomrában.

400 kilogramm kokaint foglalt le a koszovói rendőrség egy Brazíliából érkezett hússzállítmányban – közölték a helyi hatóságok hétfőn.
A 24 millió dollár (7 milliárd forint) értékű kábítószer ügyében az olasz és az albán hatóságokkal együttműködve hét embert vettek őrizetbe. A rendőrség szerint a drogszállítmányhoz köthető további gyanúsítottak még szökésben vannak.
A kábítószert a fővárostól, Pristinától 16 kilométerre délre található Lipljan városában foglalták le egy teherautó rakterében.
„Rejtett megfigyelési eszközök felhasználásával követték a drogszállítmány útját Brazíliából Olaszországba, majd az albániai Durres kikötőjéből egészen Koszovóig” – mondta Aleksander Lumezi koszovói főügyész sajtótájékoztatóján. Hozzátette, hogy jelenleg azt vizsgálják, hogy a kábítószer célállomása Koszovó, vagy egy másik ország lett volna.
Koszovót bűnözők tranzitországként használják a többi között a Közel-Keletről a nyugat-európai országokba irányuló kábítószerkereskedelem számára.

Egy hágai nemzetközi ügyész, Hashim Thacit, aki a szerbek ellen a koszovói függetlenségi háború idején elkövetett visszaéléseket vizsgálja, háborús bűnökkel vádolta meg a koszovói elnököt.
Kilenc másik egykori szakadár vezetőt is megvádoltak, köztük Kadri Veseli volt parlamenti elnököt, aki jelenleg a koszovói ellenzéki Demokrata Párt vezetője.
A vádak szerint Thaci és a volt szeparatisták közel 100 ember haláláért, köztük koszovói albánok, szerbek és romák megkínzásáért és eltűnéséért felelősek. A koszovói elnök katonai egységeket vezetett az 1998-99-es háborúban.
12 évvel ezelőtt a Hágai Nemzetközi Törvényszék (a volt Jugoszlávia területén elkövetett, a nemzetközi humanitárius jogot súlyosan sértő cselekményekért felelős személyek megbüntetésére létrejött Nemzetközi Törvényszék, ICTY) felmentette a volt koszovó miniszterelnököt, Ramush Haradinajt a háborús bűnök vádja alól. A bírók szerint ugyanakkor bizonyítékok voltak arra, hogy a Koszovói Felszabadítási Hadsereg katonái háborús bűnöket követtek el.
A fegyveres konfliktusban több mint tízezren vesztették életüket, és 1600 embert továbbra is eltűntként tartanak nyilván.
