A „Donyecki Népköztársaság” (DNR) Legfelsőbb Bírósága csütörtökön golyó általi halálra ítélt az ukrán fegyveres erők kötelékében harcolt két brit és egy marokkói „zsoldost”, akiket a taláros testület a DNR alkotmányos rendjének megdöntésére irányuló bűncselekmények elkövetésében talált bűnösnek – adta hírül az Ukrajinszka Pravda hírportál.
A jelentés szerint az úgynevezett DNR Legfelsőbb Bírósága kimondta az első ítéletet az Ukrajna oldalán harcoló külföldiekre, akiket „zsoldosoknak” neveznek. Az ukrán hatóságok bejelentették, hogy Mariupol városában kitört a kolerajárvány, ami miatt az orosz megszállók karantén alá helyezték az ostromlott kikötővárost.
Petro Andrjuscsenko, Mariupol polgármesterének tanácsadója az ukrán televízióval megosztotta, Mariupol kénytelen volt felkészülni a kegyetlen járványra, hiszen folyamatosan növekszik a városban a halottak száma, városszerte mindenhol szemét borítja az utcákat, ezeket pedig jelenleg senki sem tudja elszállítani.
Mariupol polgármesterének tanácsadója még a háború elején kénytelen volt elhagyni a várost, azóta pedig rendszeresen jelent a legfrissebb eseményekről, miután a városban még több olyan tisztviselő is tartózkodik, akik beszámolnak a fejleményekről.
Andriuscsenko megosztotta, egyre gyakrabban hallani a városban a kolera szót, főként a helyi tisztviselők és vezetők körében, ám a járvány már szemmel láthatóan elkezdődött, s egyre több megbetegedésről érkezik jelentés.
A polgármester tanácsadója elárulta, több elszigetelt esetről is tudomásuk van Mariupolban, elmondása szerint pedig főként azokon a területeken nagyobb a kockázat a megbetegedésre, melyeket az oroszok porig romboltak és az infrastruktúra jóformán megszánt létezni.
A Guardian a Kyiv Independent legfrissebb jelentése nyomán azt írja, az ukrán egészségügyi minisztérium figyelmeztetett, hogy a folyamatos tömeges temetések, valamint a tiszta ivóvíz hiánya miatt fennáll a kolerajárvány kitörésének veszélye Mariupolban, ám június 1-jén sajnos meg is érkeztek az első jelentések a gyanús megbetegedésekről.

A mariupoli Azovsztal acélmű több mint 2500 ukrán védője van orosz fogságban, de a Védelmi Minisztérium hírszerzési főosztálya már intézi a szabadon bocsátásukat – jelentette ki Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök hétfőn újságíróknak, adta hírül az rbc.ua hírportál.
A tudósítás szerint Zelenszkij elmondta, hogy az orosz félnek nem kifizetődő az Azovsztal védőinek kínzása, mert a hősök „nyilvános foglyok” lettek. Mariupol polgármestere szerint az oroszok bevezették a halálbüntetést a városban. A megszállók bebörtönöznek vagy lelőnek mindenkit, akik nem hajlandók a kollaboránsokkal és a megszálló hatóságokkal együttműködni.
Vadim Bojcsenko, Mariupol polgármestere elmondása szerint a DNR törvénytelenül létrehozott bírósága 10 év börtönbüntetésre ítélte az egyik falusi vezetőt, valamint legkevesebb egy közalkalmazottat kivégeztek.
Több mint százezer lakos maradt a Donyeck megyei Mariupolban, aki április óta nem jut ivóvízhez és élelemhez – mondta szerdán egy tévéműsorban Vadim Bojcsenko, Mariupol polgármestere, aki humanitárius folyosók megnyitását sürgette a város felé.
Az Ukrajinszka Pravda hírportál beszámolója szerint a polgármester kiemelte, hogy a megszállt városban növekszik a temetkezések száma, és vannak spontán létrehozott sírhelyek is. Hangsúlyozta, hogy az emelkedő hőmérséklet és a heves esőzések fertőző betegségek veszélyét hordozzák magukban: a vérhas és a kolera kitörése több ezer mariupoli lakos megbetegedését okozhatja.
A polgármester elmondta azt is, hogy az orosz csapatok megbízták az önkényesen kikiáltott donyecki „népköztársaság rendkívüli helyzetek minisztériumát”, hogy gondoskodjon az ivóvízszállításról Mariupolba. A városban lakók azonban arról számoltak be – mondta a polgármester –, hogy csak akkor adnak nekik ivóvizet, ha hajlandóak dolgozni: romokat eltakarítani, holttesteket összegyűjteni és eltemetni, vagyis eltüntetni az oroszok háborús bűntetteit – fűzte hozzá a polgármester. „Eszerint a mariupoliak ivóvízért dolgoznak” – konstatálta.
„Az, ami az orosz propagandavideókon volt látható, hogy áprilisban élelmiszereket osztottak, ma már nem történik meg. Április óta a mariupoli lakosok nem juthatnak élelemhez, és mint látjuk, ivóvízhez sem” – hangsúlyozta Bojcsenko. Szavai szerint Mariupolban több mint százezer embert tartanak túszul, mert nem engedik őket, hogy ukrán ellenőrzés alatti terület felé hagyják el a várost. Sürgette Kijevet: hívja össze Ukrajna nemzetközi partnereit, az ENSZ-t és a Vöröskeresztet és létesítsenek „zöld folyosókat”, hogy a városból ukrán ellenőrzésű területre távozhassanak az ott lakók.

Ljudmila Deniszova, a Legfelső Tanács emberjogi biztosa elmondta, hogy az utóbbi három hónapban a mariupoli lakosok a házak mellett temették el a holttesteket, a vízelvezető rendszer közelében.
A sérült vízellátó rendszer beindítása után a víz elborította az utcákat és udvarokat, s kimosta az ott lévő sírokat. Emiatt a város ivóvize alkalmatlan a fogyasztásra. Ezenkívül nincs hová elszállítani a hónapok alatt felhalmozódott szemetet, a hulladék egy részét szintén elárasztotta a csatornákból kiáramló víz.
A föld a légibombák és rakéták miatt szintén szennyezetté vált, rákkeltő vegyi anyagok halmozódtak fel benne, melyek rendkívül veszélyesek a városlakók számára.
Már a legközelebbi időben be fog fejeződni az ukrán katonák kivonulása az ellenség által körülzárt Azovsztal acélműből Mariupolban – jelentette be Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök péntek este egy televíziós műsorban, adta hírül az rbc.ua hírportál.
A tudósítás szerint az államfő az ukrán televízió non-stop háborús műsorának nyilatkozva részleteket osztott meg az ukrán katonák Azovsztalból történő evakuálásával kapcsolatban. Mint jelezte, mostanáig a civilek, az orvosok és a sebesült harcosok hagyták el az üzemet.
Az elnök elmondta, „a mai napig minden civilt kivittek, akiket az üzemben blokád alá vontak. Civileket, orvosokat vittek ki, súlyos sebesülteket és sebesülteket szállítottak el. Tudom, hogy ebben a pillanatban mi történik ott.” Hozzátette: „azt gondolom, hogy már a legközelebbi időben, nem pedig napokban, befejeződik mindenkinek a kivonulása.”

A vezetők az orosz elnökkel fenntartott kapcsolataik révén, amikor láttuk, hogy katonai úton nem lehetséges a blokád feloldása” – fogalmazott Volodimir Zelenszkij.

Új videóban üzent csütörtökön Szvjatoszlav Palamar, az Azov-ezred parancsnok-helyettese az Azovsztalból, amelyben elmondta, hogy az acélgyárban jelenleg különleges művelet folyik – adta hírül az rbc.ua hírportál Petro Andrjuscseko, Mariupol polgármestere tanácsadójának Telegram-csatornájára hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint a legújabb videóban Palamar elmondta, hogy ő és az Azov ezred teljes parancsnokság az Azovsztal üzem területén van. Mint jelezte, „művelet zajlik, amelynek részleteit nem hozhatom nyilvánosságra.” Hozzátette, „köszönöm a világnak, és köszönöm Ukrajnának a támogatást! Látni fogjuk egymást.”
