Az ukrán Védelmi Minisztérium készen áll kivizsgálni a december 29-én Fehéroroszország feletti történt incidenst, és olyan országok szakértőit is bevonni, amelyek nem állnak kapcsolatban Oroszországgal.
Az említett napon Fehéroroszország azt állította, hogy egy ukrán Sz–300-as rakéta zuhant le területén. Ami a fehérorosz fél nyilatkozatait illeti, az ukrán fél tisztában van azzal, hogy a Kreml be akarja vonni Fehéroroszországot az Ukrajna elleni agresszív háborúba. Szilveszterkor sem törlik el a kijárási tilalmat Ukrajnában, a szabálysértőket a rendőrség őrizetbe veszi – közölte Marjanna Reva, a Nemzeti Rendőrség sajtótitkára, számolt be az Interfax-Ukrajna.
„Az embereknek meg kell érteniük, hogy függetlenül attól, hogy milyen nap van – ünnepnap vagy sem –, vannak bizonyos kijárási tilalmi követelmények. A rendőrök ellenőrizni fogják az embereket, irataikat, beviszik őket azonosításra a rendőrségre” – mondta el.
Reva hangsúlyozta: azok, akik a kijárási tilalom ellenére szilveszterkor kimennek az utcára, büntetőjogi felelősségre vonhatók.
Egyben hozzátette, hogy Ukrajna egész területén tilos a pirotechnikai eszközök alkalmazása és az ilyen esetekre is reagálni fog a rendőrség.

Ukrajna területének mintegy 30 százalékán találhatók robbanásveszélyes tárgyak, ennek a terepnek a teljes aknamentesítése akár 10 évig is eltarthat – jelentette be Meri Akopjan helyettes belügyminiszter pénteki sajtótájékoztatóján, adta hírül a korrespondent.net hírportál.
A jelentés szerint Akopjan elmondta: „szakértőink elemzése és becslése szerint ma Ukrajna területének mintegy 174 ezer négyzetkilométere maradt elaknásítva. Ez az ország területeink hozzávetőleg 30%-a. Ukrajna robbanószerkezetekkel szennyezett részének területe ma négyszer akkora, mint Svájc.
A belügyminiszter-helyettes szerint ez a mutató nagyon demonstratívan és egyértelműen mutatja Ukrajna elaknásításának a valós helyzetét. „Nagyon ambiciózus célt tűztünk ki magunk elé, hogy ezeket a területeket 10 éven belül meg tudjuk tisztítani. Soknak tűnik, de az ilyen típusú munkálatok esetében ez nem sok. A fő dolog, amin ma dolgozunk, hogy megerősítsük a képességünket, hogy ilyen ütemben tudjunk aknamentesíteni” – mutatott rá Meri Akopjan.
A hírportál korábban azt írta, hogy egyedül Luhanszk megye területének az aknamentése legalább 10 évet vesz majd igénybe.

Mintegy harminc feltételezett drogkereskedőt vettek őrizetbe Spanyolországban Ukrajnának szánt segélycsomagoknak álcázott kábítószerszállítmányok miatt – közölte hétfőn a spanyol rendőrség.
A bűnözők humanitárius csomagoknak álcázva akarták marihuánaszállítmányaikat átcsempészni a határokon. A kábítószert Andalúziából kisbuszokkal vitték Európa különböző országaiba úgy téve, mintha egy „szolidaritási karavánhoz” tartoznának kijátszva ezzel a rendőrség és a határőrség ellenőrzéseit.
A tájékoztatás szerint német, ukrán, spanyol és marokkói állampolgárok is vannak a hatóságok kezére került gyanúsítottak között.
Az Andalúzia tartományban őrizetbe vett embereket kábítószerkereskedelem mellett illegális fegyvertartással és bűnszervezeti tagsággal is vádolják. A Málaga, Granada, Córdoba és Sevilla városokban végrehajtott házkutatások során 800 ezer euró készpénzt, hat lőfegyvert és nagy mennyiségű marihuánát foglaltak le.

Ukrajna és Oroszország a világ első teljes körű drónháborúját vívja – írta a The Washington Post.
A lap szerint a korábbi konfliktusokban a pilóta nélküli légi járműveket általában csak az egyik fél használta az ellenséges célpontok felderítésére és megsemmisítésére. Drónokat használtak például az Egyesült Államok afganisztáni és közel-keleti műveleteiben.
Az Oroszország és Ukrajna közötti háborúban a drónok a harcok minden fázisába beépülnek, mindkét oldalon nagy flottával, légvédelmi és elektronikai hadviselési rendszerekkel. Ez egy olyan háború, amelyet távolról vívnak – az ellenség gyakran mérföldekre van –, és semmi sem képes áthidalni ezt a távolságot úgy, mint a drónok, amelyek lehetővé teszik Oroszország és Ukrajna számára, hogy lássák és támadják egymást anélkül, hogy túl közel kerülnének egymáshoz – fogalmazott a lap.

Több mint 15 000 ember tűnt már el Ukrajnában a háború kitörése óta – közölte az Eltűnt Személyek Nemzetközi Bizottsága (ICMP) egyik tisztviselője.
A Reuters jelentése szerint: A kilencvenes évek balkáni háborúi nyomán létrejött hágai szervezet júliusban irodát nyitott Kijevben, hogy segítsen Ukrajnának dokumentálni és felkutatni az eltűnt embereket.
Az ICMP európai programigazgatója, Matthew Holliday azt mondta, nem világos, hány embert szállítottak el erőszakkal Oroszországba, vagy hány embert tartottak fogva, illetve, hogy hányan végezték tömegsírokban.
Az eltűntek nyomozásának folyamata Ukrajnában a harcok leállása után is évekig tart – mondta Holliday a Reutersnek adott interjújában. A 15 ezres szám óvatos becslés, ha figyelembe vesszük, hogy csak Mariupol kikötővárosában a hatóságok becslése szerint 25 ezer ember halt meg, vagy eltűnt.

A leghevesebb harcok, mint korábban, most is a donyecki régióban zajlanak. Bár az időjárás romlása miatt ma kevesebb támadásra kerül sor, az orosz ágyúzások száma sajnos továbbra is rendkívül magas.
Luhanszki területen kis lépésekben haladunk előre a harcokkal. Mostanáig a nap kezdete óta csaknem 400 lövedéki alkalom volt keleten – közölte az ukrán elnök. Oroszország csapatokat vezényelt a keleti Donyecki és Luhanszki területen lévő állások megerősítésére, miután kivonult a déli Herszon városából.
A déli ukrán állásokra utalva Zelenszkij azt mondta, hogy a kijevi erők tartják a frontot, következetesen rombolják a megszállók lehetőségeit – idézte a The Guardian.
„Oroszország rakétacsapásainak megnövekedett száma Ukrajnában részben arra irányul, hogy kimerítse Kijev légvédelmi készleteit és uralmat szerezzen az égbolt felett” – mondta szombaton a Pentagon egyik magas rangú tisztviselője.

Minden eddiginél hatalmasabb rakétatámadást intéztek az oroszok több hullában Ukrajna energetikai infrastruktúrája ellen az ország szinte egész területén, aminek következtében sok nagyváros van áram nélkül, és országos vészhelyzeti áramszünetek kezdődtek – adta hírül az rbc.ua hírportál.
A jelentés szerint Kijevben több robbanást követően a fél város áram nélkül van. A becsapódások után vészhelyzeti áramkikapcsolásokat rendeltek el a hatóságok az energiarendszer kiegyensúlyozása és a balesetek elkerülése érdekében. Azt is jelezték, hogy a mai támadás után nem lesz tartható az áramszüneteltetési ütemterv.
Harkiv polgármestere, Ihor Tyerehov azt jelentette, hogy a nagyváros részben áram nélkül van az infrastruktúrát ért rakétacsapások után. Jelenleg szünetel a metróközlekedés. Áldozatokról egyelőre nincsenek információk.
Lembergben több nagy robbanás hallatszott. A város egy részében eltűnt az áram. Problémák vannak a mobilkommunikációval is.
Olekszandr Tretyak, Rivne polgármestere arról számolt be, hogy orosz rakétatámadás ért egy kritikus infrastrukturális létesítményt. Ennek következtében a város egyes részei áram nélkül maradtak.
Zsitomir polgármestere, Szerhij Szuhomlin azt jelentette, hogy egy bannássorozat után a város teljesen áram nélkül maradt. A városvezető szerint az ellenség két energiaellátó létesítményre csapott le, de hibaelhárítók mindent megtesznek a károk elhárítása érdekében
Szerhij Hamalij, a Hmelnickij Megyei Katonai Adminisztráció vezetője két rakétacsapásról számolt be Hmelnickij területén energetikai létesítmény ellen. A város részben áram nélkül van.
Ukrajnában 16:50 órától országos vészhelyzeti áramkikapcsolásokat rendeltek el.
